Chapter 9 - Chapter 9

Yellow!

Sup lads, how y'all doing.

I'm back, and with another chapter to boot!

MAUAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Ignoring my eccentric self, let's begin.

Start:

Ten months had passed in what felt like a blink, a whirlwind of events that left much changed, yet somehow kept many things eerily the same. The world had grown accustomed to the weekly presence of the elusive King of Villains, Sukuna, who had become a myth, a legend, and a nightmare all rolled into one.

Despite the tireless efforts of countless heroes and governments worldwide, Sukuna had not been caught once. Not even close.

Naruto, under the guise of Sukuna, had adopted a careful rhythm to his appearances. Once a week, he would appear in Japan, his signature chaos and mischief leaving an indelible mark on the nation.

And in the remaining six other days, would be around in only God knows what countries.

As in, plural, each day he was found to be somewhere else.

One day in America, the very next day in Pakistan.

He was impossible to predict.

The only real consistency was that he was always there in Japan once a week.

Yet, he would vanish just as quickly, retreating to the shadows where no one could track him. The pattern remained consistent, almost like clockwork, lulling his pursuers into a frustrating game of cat and mouse.

From New York to Beijing, Rio de Janeiro to Berlin, Sukuna's presence was felt everywhere. He struck with precision and flair, his antics a mix of harmless yet humiliating pranks and audacious thefts of trivial yet symbolic items. Heroes across the globe scrambled to confront him, yet none could pin him down.

His very existence became an international phenomenon, and in his wake, something unexpected emerged: a cult of fanatics.

They called themselves "The Disciples of Sukuna," a growing group of fervent followers who worshipped the villain as a god. This wasn't part of Naruto's plan, but he couldn't deny the humor in the situation.

Fanatics plastered his symbol on walls, chanted his name in darkened alleys, and even claimed that his chaos was a form of divine intervention. Naruto had to admit—while their devotion wasn't exactly his intention, it did add a layer of unintentional hilarity to his operations.

But that wasn't to say that the world was miserable, as ever since Sukuna had healed All Might, the legendary hero had been a whirlwind of activity. Yagi Toshinori, fully restored to his prime, became a constant beacon of hope. Where once he had to carefully manage his appearances due to his time limitations, he now seemed to be everywhere.

From large-scale battles to small-time rescues, All Might's larger-than-life presence filled Japan—and the world—with renewed optimism. His infectious laughter and unwavering smile became the symbol of an era revitalized.

But for Naruto, the past ten months had a personal purpose: Slowly reeling in Mirko.

Every time Sukuna appeared in japan, Mirko was close behind, her dogged persistence making her the perfect foil for his mischief.

Which was exactly what was happening right now.

Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The moon hung high in the night sky, casting its silvery glow over the bustling streets of Musutafu. A rooftop chase was in full swing, the sound of Mirko's powerful kicks tearing through the air as she pursued her elusive target. Sukuna—Naruto—grinned as he flipped effortlessly from one building to the next, his movements fluid and almost lazy as if this was all a game to him.

"Stand still, you bastard!" Mirko shouted, her voice brimming with frustration and determination. Her legs coiled like springs as she launched herself toward him, her kick cutting through the air with terrifying strength.

Too bad it didn't connect.

Naruto snickered behind his banana mask as he sidestepped with ease. "Now, why would I do that? I'd miss out on the fun of seeing you try so hard."

Mirko's eyes narrowed, her white hair streaming behind her as she landed on the edge of a rooftop, her frustrated crimson gaze locked onto his form. "You think this is a joke? I'm bringing you in tonight, Sukuna. No more games!"

"Oh, Mirko, how many times have you said that in the past year?" Naruto teased, spinning mid-air as he leaped to the next rooftop. "If I didn't know any better, I'd think you enjoyed chasing me around. Don't tell me you'd miss me if I actually got caught."

Her growl was audible even over the wind. "Don't flatter yourself you weirdo!"

He laughed, the sound carefree and genuinely amused. "Flatter myself? I don't need to, you're already doing that for me with all this attention."

Mirko's foot struck the rooftop with enough force to crack the concrete, propelling her forward in a blur of speed. Naruto's grin only widened as he twisted to avoid her incoming kick, the force of her strike causing a nearby air conditioning unit to crumple like paper.

"Close, but no cigar," he quipped, landing in a crouch a few feet away. "I'll give you points for effort, though."

"You're insufferable!" she snarled, launching herself again. This time, her movements were sharper, more calculated, as she closed the gap between them. Her fists swung with precision, each strike aimed to incapacitate.

And yet like always, as she was bitterly reminded, it was futile.

Naruto blocked her punches with ease, his movements relaxed and almost lazy as he deflected her attacks. "Is it just me, or have you gotten faster? I'm almost impressed."

"I'll show you impressed!" Mirko shot back, aiming a high kick at his head. Naruto ducked, the wind from her strike ruffling his hair.

"Careful, darling," he said, his tone dripping with mock concern. "You'll ruin that pretty face of yours if you keep scowling."

Evidently, that was the wrong thing to say.

Made clear by the vein on her forehead before she swung another of those deadly kicks.

Naruto dodged, flipping backward and landing gracefully on the edge of the rooftop. He balanced effortlessly, one foot resting on the edge as he gave her a playful salute. "As much as I'd love to keep this up all night, I have places to be. Don't miss me too much, okay?"

What places exactly? Oh his entrance exam to U.A

Crazy how he was gonna be a student there.

But then again, he was officially listed as eighteen years old and thanks to his Uzumaki heritage, looked the part of someone who was just entering adulthood.

"Get back here!" Mirko lunged, but Naruto was already gone, leaping to the next building with a laugh that echoed through the night.

She skidded to a stop, her fists clenched at her sides as she glared after him. "Damn it!" she muttered, her frustration boiling over. Yet, despite herself, a small, begrudging smile tugged at the corners of her lips.

Naruto, now perched on a distant rooftop, watched her with a satisfied grin. "Until next time, Mirko," he murmured to himself before vanishing into the shadows once more.

Bee stood casually in Nezu's office, his golden eyes gleaming with interest as the principal shuffled some papers on his desk. Nezu's small form perched on the edge of his oversized chair, his expression thoughtful yet bright, the kind of look that always hinted at a surprise. The warm sunlight from the window highlighted Bee's confident grin, his usual eccentric energy radiating from him like a second skin.

"Nezu, my favorite mammalian mastermind!" Bee began, spreading his arms theatrically. "What can I do for you today? Need me to jazz up a boring meeting? Maybe spice up the lunch menu?"

Nezu chuckled, a soft, amused sound as he set the papers aside. "As always, your enthusiasm is appreciated, Bee. But today, I have news that I believe you'll find quite exciting."

Ten months passing by, and it wasn't only things that had changed from Naruto's perspective.

Definitely not.

Much had changed for both the rapping ninja and the U.A principle.

For starters, Nezu knew who Gojo, or rather, Bee was now.

In the months following Bee's initial infiltration into U.A at the dead of night, Nezu had harbored suspicions about his newest staff member. Rather understandable given how Bee entered U.A, and how he donned the carrot mask that was somewhat similar to Sukuna's own banana mask, something that also raised questions in the mammalian's head.

To say he had apprehensions and concerns in regarding to his newest hire was putting it lightly.

Could there be a connection to Sukuna? The timing of Bee's arrival and the emergence of the enigmatic villain had been difficult to ignore.

Days turned into weeks, weeks into months.

And though he was most certainly eccentric, Gojo caused no real trouble and on the contrary, was such a stellar teacher that students who learned under him were thriving in the subjects they were learning, and with that easy going personality, it was no wonder why he was considered the favorite among the staff for students.

Much to the ire of the rest of the staff who still didn't trust their newest colleague.

During all those weeks and months, Nezu had kept a watchful eye, quietly probing for inconsistencies. But he could not spot any real connection beyond the timing of him joining U.A in such a unique fashion and the food-themed mask.

Slowly, his suspicion had begun to fade, replaced by a genuine fondness for Gojo whom was rapidly becoming his favorite.

Now… three months in after Gojo had joined them, Nezu still had questions, but truthfully no longer cared about having them answered.

Especially when it was clear that Sukuna was a good man, a fact that was deeply highlighted by his act of doing the impossible and restoring their symbol of peace to vitality.

A concept that had Nezu beam with such happiness.

So yes… Nezu did have questions, but it no longer mattered as he had no intention of ever exposing Sukuna.

Though Nezu most certainly was curious as to who he was.

But one month later, now four months since that fateful night when Gojo appeared in U.A, when he revealed his true identity, sharing his name, face, and background, Nezu found himself utterly disarmed and completely charmed by such a trusting act.

Bee's transparency had chipped away at the last of the principal's suspicions, and his actions within U.A. only reinforced his integrity.

That's not to say that he didn't do a bit of research, because he most certainly did, like he did with the rest of his employees.

But having to come to really trust Bee, Nezu didn't delve too deeply into his personal life.

Even when he stumbled upon the profile of Naruto Uzumaki, the younger adopted brother of Bee Uzumaki, whom while he was curious about, didn't really research as he wished to respect their privacy.

Although this Naruto certainly was curious.

The boy's records were pristine, homeschooled his entire life, and his registered quirk was fascinating—an ability to store natural energy and enhance physical capabilities.

Nezu wished to know the limit of such a quirk… especially as another three months after Bee had revealed his identity, he had privately requested Nezu to have his younger brother admitted here.

A curious turn of events.

But seeing no reason as to why not should Naruto have a chance at being a student here, Nezu had pulled some strings, ensuring Naruto could take the exams like any other applicant.

Another three months later, and here they were.

Bee tilted his head, curiosity sparking in his sharp gaze. "Exciting, you say? I'm all ears, boss. Lay it on me."

Nezu folded his hands neatly on the desk, his small frame leaning slightly forward. "Your adopted younger brother, Naruto Uzumaki, has been accepted into U.A. High School. He will be placed in Class 1-A."

For a brief moment, Bee stood frozen, processing the words. Then, like the ignition of a firework, his face split into a beaming grin. "No way! My little bro's gonna be in U.A.? That's incredible!" He pumped a fist in the air, his exuberance filling the room. "Kid's been dreaming about this forever, and now it's happening! This is the best news ever."

Nezu's small smile widened at Bee's pure delight. "I thought you might appreciate the update. He performed exceptionally well in the entrance exams—both written and practical."

"Of course he did! He's got the brains and the brawn," Bee said, his chest puffing out with pride. "And now he's gonna be part of the best hero class in the country. Couldn't be prouder of the kid."

Nezu nodded, his whiskers twitching slightly. "I must admit, Naruto's application and performance were impressive. And… I understand now why you were so adamant about making this happen."

Bee's exuberant laughter snapped Nezu back to the present. "Man, Nezu, you're a real miracle worker," Bee said, his grin stretching from ear to ear. "I owe you one. Big time."

"There's no debt between friends, Bee," Nezu replied, his tone warm. "Besides, Naruto earned his place. Now, there's another matter I'd like to discuss with you."

Bee's curiosity piqued again. "Oh? What's up?"

"With All Might's growing commitments, we need someone to take over heroics classes in his absence," Nezu explained. "You've proven yourself to be an exceptional teacher, and the students respond well to your methods. You are voted as the favorite. I believe you'd be an excellent fit for the role."

Up until now, Bee had been more of a substitute teacher or an assistant.

So one could imagine the jinchuriki's surprise as he heard this offer.

Bee blinked, his surprise evident. Then, a slow grin spread across his face. "Wait… you want me to teach heroics? Me? The guy who named his last lesson 'How to Be Awesome While Kicking Butt'?"

Nezu chuckled. "Precisely. Your unique approach has been effective, and your ability to connect with the students is unmatched."

Bee's grin widened as he threw his arms out dramatically. "Nezu, my genius boss, you've made my day twice in a row! I'm in. But fair warning—I'm gonna make this the most epic heroics class U.A. has ever seen."

"Hahehehehe" Nezu genuinely giggled. "I look forward to the chaos and success you'll bring."

"You got it boss." A massive thumbs up was directed at the mammalian principle.

Time-skip: A few days later

The morning sunlight filtered through the windows of the Uzumaki household, casting a warm, golden glow across the living room.

Naruto stood in the center, dressed in his crisp U.A. uniform. The air was charged with excitement as the miniature forms of the tailed beasts lounged, sprawled, or buzzed around the room. It was Naruto's first day at U.A. University, and the atmosphere was anything but calm.

Matatabi stretched languidly on the back of the couch, her two tails flicking rhythmically as her blue eyes sparkled mischievously. "Naruto," she purred, "I know you have your heart set on Mirko, but don't forget to keep an eye out for any vixen. I've got high hopes for kittens, you know."

"Ugh, would you stop with that already?" Shukaku groaned, lounging by the window with his arms crossed. His sandy tail swished in irritation. "Kittens? Seriously? Can't you focus on something that matters, like him being cool as always?"

Kukou, the five-tailed beast, squealed in excitement.. "Oh, I think Matatabi's onto something! He might meet someone other than Mirko, just imagine, a fiery little vixen who can match his stubborn streak, huh?"

Naruto deadpanned. "Everyone in first year just turned eighteen or are near that age, even if they're considered adults, they're too young for my taste."

"But you wouldn't say no to someone who's twenty or twenty one, right?" Kukou questioned curiously and attentively.

Before the blonde could answer, someone made their annoyance known. "Can we not turn this into matchmaking hour?" Saiken grumbled, his bubbling voice stern. He crossed his tiny arms and gave them all a sharp look. "Naruto has more important things to focus on, like his studies."

Naruto pretended to gag.

As if he'd join a school to study, he had enough of that for a lifetime.

As far as he was concerned, shadow clones existed so they could study for him.

But that did bring up an interesting question, why was he joining U.A

The answer was simple.

Bee needed help.

The whiskered shinobi nearly snickered outloud at the thought.

For all of his confidence and swagger, it turned out that Bee wasn't as confident when it came to the matters of the heart.

Hence him deciding to join and help.

"Ha! Since when were you the voice of reason?" Son Goku snorted, his fiery red fur bristling as he pointed a claw at Saiken. "You're just jealous because no one's talking about your love life."

"Love life?" Saiken retorted, puffing up indignantly. "I have standards, unlike some of you clowns."

"QUIET!" Chomei's booming voice drowned out the bickering. Normally the voice of reason and peace, her bellow surprised everyone.

The seven-tailed beast hovered midair, her wings vibrating furiously. "All of you are acting like idiots! Naruto needs to watch out for skanks, not get tangled up with some vixen. Priorities, people!"

"Skanks?" Matatabi hissed, her tails puffing up in mock offense. "You're one to talk, Chomei. Didn't you say Naruto should have fun while he's young last week?"

"That was different!" Chomei thundered as she looked over at Naruto protectively before gazing back at the two tailed cat. "I was giving balanced advice!"

"Balanced advice, my tail!" Shukaku barked, his sandy fur bristling. "You flip-flop more than a fish out of water."

Meanwhile, Isobu snored softly in the corner, completely unbothered by the chaos. Gyuki, ever the calm mediator, sighed deeply, his voice cutting through the cacophony. "Everyone, enough. Let the kid focus. This is an important day for him."

"Yeah," Kurama growled from his spot near the fireplace, his massive tails curling protectively around him. "All this noise is giving me a headache. Naruto, just don't screw this up."

Naruto stood in the middle of the chaos, his arms crossed and his face stuck somewhere between exasperation and amusement. "Are you guys done yet?"

Matatabi winked at him. "Not until you promise me you'll keep an eye out for a vixen."

"Not making that promise!" Naruto shot back, throwing his hands up.

Shukakau grinned. "Well, just remember: if you find one, make sure she passes the vibe check."

"Passed the vibe check?" Son Goku cackled. "You of all people shouldn't be saying that you insane tanuki."

"Alright, alright!" Naruto interrupted, holding up a hand to silence them. "Thanks for the advice, encouragement, and chaos—seriously, all of it—but I gotta go. Try not to wreck the place while I'm gone."

Matatabi purred. "No promises."

Shukaku rolled his eyes. "Just stay cool, brat."

"Be careful of skanks!" Chomei thundered, her wings buzzing furiously.

Saiken folded his arms. "Focus on your studies. Don't get distracted."

"Knock their socks off!" Son Goku laughed.

Isobu snored louder, causing everyone to glance at him briefly before shrugging it off.

"Make sure to have fun." Kukou chimed gently.

Kurama stood, his crimson eyes locking onto Naruto's. "You're strong. Don't forget that," he said gruffly before turning away.

Gyuki sighed as he looked at the fox. "Would it kill you to say something nice." He turned to Naruto. "What he means to say is be careful."

Naruto's grin softened as he looked around at the group. "Thanks, everyone. You're the best family anyone could ask for."

Bee, leaning against the doorframe, chuckled. "Yo, lil' bro, it's time to go! We've got a schedule, don't you know?"

The shinobi grabbed his bag, gave one last wave, and headed for the door. "See you later!"

He proceeded to close the door, and as soon as he did, chaos erupted as an argument proceeded to ensue, more than loud enough for Naruto and bee's chakra-infused senses.

The older of the two simply shrugged and grinned before they walked down the street toward the university, the city buzzed with morning energy. Cars honked, birds chirped, and the smell of fresh bread wafted from a nearby bakery.

Naruto glanced at Bee, a teasing smile on his face. "So… any progress with Midnight?"

Bee grinned, his trademark eccentric energy bubbling forth. "Slow and steady wins the race! I'm playin' the long game, keepin' my pace!"

Naruto nodded sagely, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Smart. Can't rush greatness, after all."

"Exactly, my man!" Bee exclaimed, throwing a dramatic pose. "We're both on the rise, makin' moves and reachin' the skies!"

The two then proceeded to get lost in conversation, and before they knew it, twenty minutes passed and the pair found themselves standing at the grand entrance of U.A. University. The sprawling campus loomed before them, a symbol of hope and heroism.

Bee turned to Naruto, giving him a theatrical salute. "Alright, bro, this is your show! Go out there and steal the glow!"

Naruto chuckled, giving Bee a fist bump. "Thanks, Bee. See you later."

Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Bee strolled through the pristine halls of U.A., his steps light and rhythmic as he hummed a tune under his breath. When he reached Nezu's office, he knocked twice before pushing the door open. "Yo, Nezu! What's the deal? What's the news you wanna reveal?"

Nezu, seated at his desk with a steaming cup of tea, looked up with a twinkle in his eyes. "Ah, Bee. Right on time, as always."

Bee struck a mock dramatic pose. "For you, boss, I'm never late! Now spill the tea; what's the update?"

Nezu chuckled, his small paws clasped in front of him. "We've hired a new member of staff, someone I think you'll find… interesting."

Bee tilted his head, curiosity piqued. "Interesting, huh? Who's the new star in this cast of ours?"

Nezu's smile widened. "The Rabbit Hero, Mirko."

For a moment, Bee was utterly stunned, his usual stream of rhymes and jokes momentarily silenced. Then, like a dam breaking, he burst into a genuine, hearty laugh, his voice echoing through the room. "No way! You're kiddin' me, boss! Mirko?!"

Nezu joined in the laughter, his eyes sparkling with mischief and knowing. "Oh, I assure you, I'm quite serious, and I figured you'd appreciate it considering who we now have enrolled in our school."

"I will neither confirm nor deny that my little brother is who you think he is." Bee shook his head, still laughing. "Although, I must ask, do the staff or Mirko know who you're suspicious of exactly?"

"I haven't told anyone of my suspicions beyond Mirko whom I've invited to teach here." Nezu stated before elaborating. "And I haven't given her any hint beyond the fact that someone who is attending U.A might be you know who."

While Nezu did prefer to be upfront with his words, but it was best that they be subtle in their words in case things ever spiraled into a nasty predicament, such as being on trial, etc…

The two shared a moment of mutual amusement before Bee extended a fist, his grin wide and infectious. "Nezu, you're the best. Fist bump for this masterful move."

Nezu obliged, their fists connecting in a show of camaraderie. "I knew you'd appreciate it, Bee."

"Oh, you have no idea," Bee replied, his mind already buzzing with the possibilities. "This is gonna be legendary!"

As he left the office, Bee couldn't help but laugh to himself. The game had just gotten a whole lot more interesting.

Naruto stood before the entrance to Class 1-A, the large sliding door towering over him as the hum of conversation leaked through the cracks. A small grin tugged at his lips as he slid the door open and stepped inside.

The classroom was abuzz with chatter, a mix of voices blending together in a lively cacophony. As Naruto scanned the room, his sharp eyes quickly began cataloging the variety of faces and personalities present.

Near the back, an extremely short boy with round eyes and a bizarre head of purple, ball-like hair was perched on his chair. He was practically drooling, his gaze locked on a tall, statuesque girl with long black hair tied into a loose ponytail. Her poised demeanor and elegant appearance exuded a natural confidence as she adjusted the hem of her blazer.

On the right side of the ravenette, sat a boy with striking dual-colored hair—half white, half crimson—sat quietly, his heterochromatic eyes staring straight ahead with an almost icy intensity. Naruto made a mental note of him.

Toward the center of the room, a loud commotion drew Naruto's attention. A blond-haired boy with sharp crimson eyes was barking angrily at another student. The blond's aggressive demeanor and the constant spark of fury in his expression made him impossible to miss.

"Get outta my face, Four-Eyes! You're blocking my damn view!" the blond barked, his sharp teeth flashing in an irritated snarl.

The target of his aggression was a tall, bespectacled boy with a rigid posture and a sense of discipline that radiated from every exaggerated movement. "There is no need to raise your voice, Bakugo!" he replied, adjusting his glasses with a sharp motion. "We're here to uphold the values of heroism, not disrupt them."

Naruto chuckled under his breath, already getting the sense that these two were polar opposites.

Near the front, his eyes landed on a green-haired boy hunched over his desk, nervously scribbling in a notebook.

Izuku… the boy who inherited All-Might's power.

It was good to see him here.

The greenette's face was flushed bright red, his nervous energy palpable as a cheerful brown-haired girl leaned into his space, chatting animatedly. Her warm smile and the way her shoulder-length hair bounced with every word made it clear she was the friendly type.

"Y-you think so, Uraraka?" the green-haired boy stammered, his pen trembling in his hand.

"Totally!" the girl—Uraraka—replied with an encouraging nod. "It's so cool that you're here too!"

Naruto's grin softened. He could tell the green-haired kid was nervous, but there was something endearing about his genuine enthusiasm.

Not wanting to interrupt the lively atmosphere, Naruto moved toward an open seat near the middle of the room. A few students glanced his way as he walked by, but most were too caught up in their conversations to pay him much attention. He gave a friendly smile to those who noticed him, settling into his seat with ease.

The room continued to buzz with chatter until, five minutes later, the sharp chime of the bell silenced the noise. Everyone straightened, their eyes turning toward the door in anticipation.

The door slid open, and the class collectively gasped as none other than Mirko—the Rabbit Hero—strode into the room. She was a striking figure, her toned physique radiating strength and her fierce crimson eyes sweeping across the room like a predator sizing up her prey. She wore a sharp U.A. staff uniform, though the wild energy that surrounded her was anything but typical.

What the fuck?

Why was she here!?

For once, Naruto was thrown off his game, stunned speechless to find the woman he loved to be a teacher at this university and for his class at that.

"Alright, listen up!" she declared, her voice strong and commanding as she planted herself at the front of the room. "Name's Mirko, and I'm your new homeroom teacher."

The room erupted into shocked murmurs, the students exchanging wide-eyed glances as they processed the unexpected development.

"Wait, Mirko? The Rabbit Hero?" one student whispered.

"No way! She's our homeroom teacher?" another murmured, their excitement barely contained.

Allowing his shock to fade away, Naruto leaned back in his chair, a wide grin spreading across his face. This was going to be interesting.

End.

Hope you all enjoyed that.

From here, things will begin to spiral and we'll really see some movement!

Anyway, take care lads.

Peace.
