Chapter 2 - Zero to Infinity: The Saga of a Nomad

From Zero to Infinity: The Saga of a Nomad

(Sifar Se Anant Tak: Ek Banjare Ki Dastaan)

(Prologue: The Search for Existence)

Listen closely... Can you hear that silence?

The silence that echoes only after the noise has faded away.

This story belongs to no emperor,

Nor to the heir of any throne or crown.

This is the story of that 'Zero',

Who wove his own sky from his very own ashes.

Part 1: Wanderlust and The Innocent Bond

(Chapter 1-5)

"No roof to shelter him, no shadow cast wide,

Alone in the teeming crowd, with only God by his side."

He mistook the dust of the streets for colors of joy,

He treated every stumble as the world's silent ploy.

His stomach was empty, but a fire burned in his gaze,

Even in his silence, a hidden melody would blaze.

When the world scorned him, casting him aside as a stray,

A voiceless soul (Nainu) became his family, lighting his way.

He used to say—

"Oh Human! The beasts are far nobler than your breed,

For they walk the path of loyalty, bound by no greed."

That hunger sold for a mere packet of biscuits,

Those nights at the station, the winter pushing its limits.

It was there he learned that respect is never given for free,

It is either seized by force, or forged by mastery.

Part 2: The Glass Palace and The First Wound

(Chapter 6-12)

"Then his footsteps fell in that city of marble white,

Where souls do not dwell, only people living in spite."

That Institute, those towering walls of the elite,

Where humans were measured by the fabric on their feet.

Seeing him, they sneered— "Who is this outcast, this unknown face?

In our gathering, why does this dirt-stained silence take space?"

But little did they know, beneath that soiled attire,

Lay a sun hidden near the clouds, burning with fire.

When he picked up the guitar, even the winds stood still,

The walls of hatred bowed down against their will.

But by the edge of that 'pool', a dark accusation was cast,

On the hem of innocence, the fire of scandal spread fast.

He didn't scream, he didn't weep, he simply smiled,

Veiling his truth within his loyalty, pure and undefiled.

Part 3: The Broken Mirror and Old Memories

(Chapter 13-20)

"When she appeared, it felt as if time had lost its pace,

In a dried-up river, water had finally found its place."

Priya... the name embedded in every heartbeat,

The face that once made his existence complete.

But witness the conspiracy of Time—she stood before his view,

Yet brought along the shadow of someone new.

From that lab window, when he saw the scene unfold,

The destiny written in his palms began to lose its hold.

It wasn't his heart that broke, but a trust that fell apart,

The companion of his childhood left a void in his heart.

He ran into the wild, to the lakeshore deep,

Where there was only solitude, and fallen stars to weep.

He threw a stone into the water to shatter his reflection,

He screamed from his soul, demanding God's attention.

"Why do You choose only me for every test?

Am I the only target for every arrow in Your chest?"

Part 4: The Burnt Soul and The Balm of The Pen

(Chapter 21-25)

"When everyone left his side, a shadow appeared in the night,

In the darkness, he lit the lamp of friendship bright."

There came 'Anil', a warrior of the quill,

Who had read the destruction in his eyes, standing still.

He said—

"My friend! These are not tears, these are pearls,

The true worth of a diamond is tested when darkness unfurls.

Do not scatter; gather yourself. Become a storm,

Drink this pain, and let your true identity form."

Then the stage was set, and the guitar spoke once more,

Every string that day unlocked a secret door.

It wasn't just a tune, it was the soul's piercing cry,

A deep lesson for the world, beneath the open sky.

Nainu's illness, the looming fear of death,

Arin's agony, and the power of a prayer's breath.

He realized that fame is but a fleeting game,

The only true wealth is the people who cherish your name.

Part 5: Blood, War, and That 'Black Book'

(Chapter 26-30)

"Wolves entered the jungle, seeking a prey to kill,

Forgetting that a single lion is enough to break their will."

The glint of the dagger, the shadow of death's dance,

Against twenty men, he stood alone in his stance.

The blade was at his neck, but his forehead held no frown,

In his eyes, no trace of fear could be found.

He said—

"You may slash my body, but how will you kill my will?

I am that seed—the deeper you bury me, the higher I shall rise still!"

Just then came that 'Book', tearing through the air,

Falling like a calamity in the enemy's stare.

It was the strike of a 'Pen', the shield of a friend so true,

That day in the jungle, a different chaos brewed.

Aryan's arrogance crumbled in a trance,

When the mirror of truth made its royal entrance.

Priya's words, the mention of that 'shadow',

Hatred turned to change, and worry let go.

The taunt of "Jija Ji" (Brother-in-law), that laughter's ring,

Even on the battlefield, he didn't abandon his territory, the King.

Part 6: Rejecting the Throne and Freedom

(Chapter 31-32)

"When the world lay at his feet, and the crown was on his head,

He smiled and rejected the kingdom, choosing freedom instead."

The President's chair, that pile of gold so grand,

All faded away when the Lion took his stand.

He said—

"Sir! I desire not these chains of gold,

Nor a destiny that others have already told.

I am flowing water, let me flow free,

Not in palaces, but in the mountains is where I long to be."

He had mastered the Philosophy of Life,

That peace lies not in titles, but in freedom from strife.

To live merely for work was not his way,

He was the master of his terms, not a victim of the day.

Part 7: The Farewell and The Journey of Peace

(Chapter 33)

"He packed his bed, put on his shades with grace,

Bidding a final salute to the memory-filled place."

The morning dew, the eyelids wet with tears,

The embrace of friends, the heartbeat's shifting gears.

Priya's kiss, which stamped a seal on his soul,

Even as he left, he made a home in their hearts, whole.

The speed of the bike, the company of Nainu,

Speaking to the winds, a silent conversation grew.

Left behind was the noise, the false pride, and the lie,

Standing before him, with open arms, was the sky.

Epilogue: "Chill Out, YAARR!"

(Chapter 34 - The Finale)

"In the lap of the mountains, as the sun began to descend,

A traveler's journey was turning into a destination's end."

The water of the lake, pure as nectar divine,

There was no king, no pauper, just dust and the timeline.

He drank that peace, swallowed it down his throat,

And his soul called out to life on a new note.

And then he found that 'Book', that page of reality,

As if God himself was weaving his destiny with clarity.

Anil's words, which sank deep into his heart,

The scattered pearls were gathered, a brand new start.

He looked at the crimson glow of the setting sun,

Filled the cup of his soul until it was done.

He spoke to the world that is still racing in the chase,

To the crowd still awake, seeking peace in every place—

"Stop, oh people! Where are you running so fast?

For which 'tomorrow' are you abandoning your 'today' to the past?

Happiness does not dwell in markets, but inside your core,

The wealth of this world is cheaper than this peace, for sure.

Sit alone sometime, by the edge of a mountain steep,

Watch how these silent stars their vigil keep.

To find yourself is the greatest festival of all,

Just take a deep breath... and say...

Chill Out, YAARR!"

(The End)

From the Poet's Pen:

"Arin is not just a character, he is a 'Mirror'.

In which we all see our incomplete freedom, our suppressed dreams, and our solitude.

This story has not ended,

Because as long as there is an 'Arin' in this world who dares to live on his own terms... this saga will continue."
