Sage is fifteen years old and invisible to the world. Adopted not out of love but for government funds, he spends his days scrubbing floors, sleeping in a roach-filled basement, and wearing the same worn robe and sandals he’s had for as long as he can remember—longer than should be possible.

Life is dull, cruel, and painfully ordinary… except for the moments when strange things happen around him, moments Sage can’t explain and barely remembers afterward.

When the truth behind those moments begins to surface, Sage discovers that his forgotten past and his future are tied to a world far more dangerous than the one that tried to break him.
