Synopsis
Anya, the top commander of the Eastern Military Region in the post-apocalyptic world, was betrayed by her closest friend. After being poisoned by a neurotoxin, she sacrificed herself to take down her archenemies. When she opened her eyes again, she was reborn as the timid, bullied young lady of the same name in a prominent family in the capital—enduring cold stares and being used as a stepping stone by her stepsister. Carrying dual superpowers and the soul of a fearless warrior, she shed her weak disguise and transformed into a fierce, domineering wife. On the racing track, she helped the mysterious tycoon Ethan win the championship with godlike driving skills before walking away in style. At a wealthy family dinner, she kicked her scheming stepsister away with one foot, shocking the entire elite circle—everyone who had humiliated her was thoroughly defeated. She originally planned to avenge herself alone and live a free-spirited life, but she didn’t expect to be stuck with the scheming yet powerful Ethan. He was an influential business tycoon and an overly doting lover—when she wanted to go abroad, he immediately bought a private jet; when she needed to carry out a mission, he spared no resources to equip her with top-tier gear; in the face of suitors, he instantly turned into a wronged little cutie, coquettishly clinging to her. As Anya navigated the tides of the city, she awakened her superpowers, rallied her allies, fought her way through conspiracies and tricks, and shone brightly amid swords and shadows. The sweet daily life of the cold-hearted commander and the scheming tycoon is heartwarmingly sweet, while the passionate counterattack and side-by-side battles are thrillingly intense. With numerous vivid characters weaving bonds of loyalty and perseverance, it tells an urban passionate legend about revenge, growth, and true love.

Chapter 1 - Rebirth

The building was… I dunno, falling apart. Floors overrun with weeds, and the road? Pfft, cratered like someone tried to pave a war. Everywhere screamed artillery. Kinda poetic, in a morbid way.

The apocalypse. Weirdly quiet. Too quiet. But beneath that silence? Blood. Coldness. Murder stalking every corner.

The floor was a canvas of gore. Corpses in camo everywhere. And each one? Thumb-sized holes in the forehead. Instakill. Freaky as hell.

In the middle of that chaos, a woman in camo—Lynn—just stared at the guy in front of her. Cold eyes, sharp voice. "Why?"

The man pulled the syringe out of her.

Pain hit her face like a truck. She went down to one knee. Barely staying upright. But still. Still steel in her eyes. Authority. Like a queen of some zombie chessboard.

"Lynn… the person after you? It's… above. I'm just doing my job," he said.

"You think you can kill me?" She scoffed. Not impressed.

He grinned through his camo. "They can't kill you. That's why they made the No.7 neurotoxin. Once it hits, your nerves, your muscles—they start dying. You? Powers or not… won't matter."

Yeah. Everyone dead around here? Killed by her. One woman army. Double power, remember? Everyone else just single ability peons. Lynn kept it a secret. Trump card. Survival.

She felt it. Numb. Limbs like dead wood. Neurotoxin. They planned for her. Figures.

"I never thought… you'd be the one," she said. He was supposed to be her best friend. Brother from childhood. And she… never doubted him. Not once.

He looked at her like it was… a hobby? Watching her hurt. She curled, convulsing. Muscles melting visibly. Yikes.

"The top said, kill you, I take your seat." His voice all excited, like he just won a fantasy football draft. "Global Eastern Commander, Lynn. Who doesn't want it?! Only the strong get to talk. You know that, right?"

She bit her dry lips. Pale, cracked. I see. Lips curled. Cold. "You deserve it?"

"You!" He blinked, complicated mix. "Yeah, you think I'm never enough? Not even worthy to stand by you! Right?"

Hatred. Anger. Something else. Painful.

Soon, the mix turned cold. "Fine. Soon, you die. And the one not even fit to survive? That's you." Victory smile. Gross.

"Heh…" She laughed. Cold, sharp. Sound of city? Dead quiet. Only her.

Then her body… convulsed. Hands and legs, skin and bone. Freaky slow-motion death dance.

Eyes calm, mouth a faint cruel curve. "I never leave traitors alive."

"What do you mean?!" He froze.

Her eyes snapped. Dangerous. Brewing… something.

"Together. Go to hell…" Lips barely moved.

Instant. His body? Blue flames. Crackling. Fire, burning him alive.

"Ahhhhhh!" Pupils reflected blue fire. Screams fading. Gone.

She looked up. Sky. Smirk. Relief? Yeah, maybe. Sad, too. Weird combo.

Year 2100.

Inside an abandoned factory.

"Bitch, I was being nice! Not happy?!" Yellow hair slapped the girl down.

Before she got up—other two thugs held her.

She cried, "Let go! My dad… won't let you!"

Face swollen, tears. Sad.

"Think your dad would help after… the shame?"

Another girl in uniform leaned, smirked. Probably Luna.

"Why here?" Thug responded.

"Need to see sister humiliated, duh," Luna said. Phone out, ready. Recording. Classic TikTok vibes? I mean, ew.

"Luna… why!" Anya shouted. Shock.

Luna's cold smile, eyes like poison. "Grandpa only loved you. Both from same dad. Why everything to you? Today… everyone will see how vile Anya is."

"Move it!" She urged.

Thugs obeyed. Clothes removal. [sexual assault attempt]

Anya bit one. Broke free. Ran. Two steps. Rolled down concrete stairs. She fell. I mean, obviously. Gravity still works.

Thud!

Luna and thugs rushed. Blood pool. Gone. Dead.

Thugs scared. Luna scared but checked breath. Backhand. "Dead."

"Let them [sexual assault attempt]… you caused death!" Luna yelled.

"We didn't know…" They stuttered.

"Whatever. Dead is dead. No second chances. Dump her in wild. Don't get caught."

Girl… seventeen, eighteen? Scared them anyway.

Night.

Van. Mountain. Lifted something from trunk. Tossed in woods. No witnesses. Gone.

Lynn… head exploding. Body screaming. Pain. Everywhere.

Eyes open. Dark. Pupils glow like cats in anime or something.

Lower leg fractured. Concussion. Soft tissue bruised. Not abuse, right? Fall maybe… dunno.

Wait… neurotoxin. She was poisoned...
