I died.
In the middle of an empty void, I felt myself appear. It was quiet around me, without any sound or light. Then, out of nowhere, a translucent bubble formed around me and I felt myself being dragged somewhere. When I woke up again, I saw trees standing proud all around me, forming a bright green canopy. The sun was bright in a cloudless aquamarine sky. Feeling groggy, I sto- no floated up.
Glancing down at myself, I felt faintly confused. I clearly remembered dying, but here I was with my soul perfectly intact, though my body was slightly blueish. At least I was wearing clothes. Wait, what soul? How did I know about my own soul? As I tried to search through my memories, all that greeted me was…nothing. I couldn't remember anything. My memory had a huge chunk of it missing, as if it was all torn away. All I remembered was my death and…something else. I tried to grasp at that faint memory…then there was a blinding pain in my head and I passed out.
When I woke up… again, the first thing I saw was a translucent blue screen in front of me:

Common Sense (Rare): Quite a few beings lack this basic necessity of survival, from the greatest Demon kings to the Godly Monarchs of this world. However, (despite how unworthy that you are) you have acquired this wondrous skill. It allows you to Identify very basic stats of all things, whether living or dead so long as they are not too many levels above you in power.
Greater Comprehension (Legendary): Be able to understand all languages and writing, though it is probably useless to you as are a stultus.
After a few hours of experimentation, I figured out that the blue screen could be moved around, change size, show only selected information or disappear just by thinking about it. It was also completely incorporeal, destroying what fantasies I had about using it as a shield or destroying it. After all, it was extremely sarcastic, and I don't even want to know what stultus means. But more importantly, I could use magic! MAGIC! Instantly, images popped out of nowhere of me slinging around balls of acid and fire while freezing all people (Were there even people in this strange new world? )around me. But that was for another time. Right now, I need food. Apparently, even spirits can feel hungry.
After what seemed like hours of walking under the cloudless sky, I was sure of one thing: The world hated me somehow. There wasn't a single berry in sight. There was a stream though, which I drank from. It only made hunger worse. As I trudged through the forest, I felt like giving up. After all, apparently, I had reincarnated into a world without food. Getting a bit tired, I decided to sit down for a while. Call it intuition, six sense or just my survival instincts kicking in, but I suddenly jumped to the side. It probably saved my life as jagged claws tore through where my head had been just a few seconds ago. Gulping slightly, I froze as I saw an enormous grizzly bear towering over me. Quickly using the ability Common Sense, my mana dropped by two while my face managed to turn even paler:

Just as I was about to start praying to whatever gods might be in this world, I suddenly remembered my Aspect Gift: Minor Incorporeality. Quickly, I activated it and felt my body suddenly explode upward almost seven meters. Unfortunately for me, my stamina immediately started draining. Not wasting even a second, I sped forward, away from the bear, leaving it in confusion as it tried to sort out exactly what had happened.
Feeling what was left of my stamina disappearing fast, I decided to find a place to rest a bit. Finding a clearing, I checked all around it first to see if there were any dangerous animals around. After seeing that there were only a few rabbits dotted here and there, I still decided to be safe and broke off a thick branch from a nearby tree to serve as a bat before jumping down. Luckily for me, I had taken the thick branch as the moment my feet touched the ground, three rabbit ears shot straight up; three pairs of eyes glared at me; three rabbits' faces distorted with rage. Then they charged. Without the stamina needed for me to fly again, I swung my makeshift bat and hoped for the best.
The bat struck two of the rabbits with brutal force, killing them instantly. The third rabbit however, managed to sink its sharp needle-like teeth into my arm. Screaming in surprise and pain, I bashed the rabbit into a nearby tree trunk, also killing it. Wincing slightly, I tore off a piece of my shirt and wrapped it around my arm, stopping the bleeding. Well, at least I got food now.
Setting up a makeshift camp, I started a fire by rubbing two wooden sticks together and started roasting the rabbits, which I had to gut and skin using my hands, definitely not a pleasant experience. Listening to the sizzling of fat, I leaned back and stared at the setting sun. It was a stunning view, something that I could never see in my old world because… because of something. Suddenly losing my appetite for both the food and the view I decided to check my profile. Seeing the changes, I couldn't help a broad smile from breaking out:

Delighted by my achievements, small as they may be, I started happily wolfing down the charred rabbits. After all, food is food. After finishing, I burped with contentment and lay near the fire. Gazing up at the stars, I slowly drifted to sleep.
