Ah, this was a cliché. I cringed so hard that I almost buried my face in Lenitia's disheveled blond hair from secondhand embarrassment.

It wasn't me who signaled Lia. It was Lenitia.
Lia jumped off the horse and pulled a halberd from the saddle sheath. Her body glowed green as she transformed into a grim reaper, activating her musou energy.
She vanished, reappearing in front of the Avaritia patrol captain. Swinging the halberd horizontally, she cleaved the men in half. Five half-bodies flew, and red liquid stained the transparent river.
Lia turned around and looked at us. Her face was still red, but her knitted eyebrows and eyes seemed pissed.
"Your Highness, please go ahead. I have something to deal with here."
I pursed my lips but maintained eye contact with Lia.
