Soft sunlight filters into Sansan's room, but, she was already outside, early in the morning. The cold breeze hitting her face soothingly.
Sansan sighs softly, " Finally a break from the chaos, and I think today won't be so bad. " She blinks -- then adds,
" I mean, I hope. " Sansan thinks for a moment , then , she slowly gets up from the grass, cleaning the dust that was sticking to her sweatpants.
" I'll go shower, then. " She says , totally exhausted,
But...
A notification on her phone rings , and it's not just a normal one.
Sansan raises an eyebrow , ' Huh...' [Sansan's inner monologue]
She doesn't hesitate and scrambles to get her phone -- she picks it up, turn it on, and...
Gues what?
It's from the School group.
' Mrs. Nemi texting at that hour? ' she says to herself,
' Really?'
But Sansan havent read it carefully, Mrs. Nemi's text exactly says:
' Hello students, hopingyou allhada goodweekend. 🙂
However, a new student will come in College, '
' No way.'
Sansan thinks... Her eyes wide open. But then -- she grins.
" What if he's handsome? Or rich? " She taps a finger to her chin. She continues reading her teacher's text,
' Please welcome him and show him around.'
Sansan can't stop grinning , she turns off her phone and charges it, then rushes to the bathroom.
She turns on the shower,
The running water making her heart flutter, for some reason.
After that -- she brushes her teeth, dress up, whatever she does as usual.
Her mom yells from the kitchen,
" San!Getyour ass out of your bedroom , It's 7AM! "
Sansan groans at the command , but she accepts.
She puts her shoes on quietly , and rushes to the kitchen,
Sansan arrives in the kitchen, panting , " Yes,Ma? "
Sansan's mom simply shoots a glare at her , then starts to make some scrambled eggs.
" Get the eggs. " ... Her mom says, her voice full of coldness.
Sansan notices the look in her mom's eyes,
' Crap, she's mad as hell. ' [Sansan's inner monologue]
Sansan nervous laughs it off and nods,
" Yes, Ma. "
She turns away to get the eggs in the fridge , but she cannot stop thinking about the new student.
She finally opens the fridge , take the eggs, but...
It fell. Yeah, it actually did.
Sansan's eyes widen.
" Oh shi- "
Her mom looks down at the messy floor, then back at her.
Something very bad will happen, I already know it.
Sansan's mom slowly pull out a slipper,
" Sansan... ? What did we say about being carful? "
Her mom says.
Sansan fidgets with her fingers , unsure of what she should say... 'What should I say... Not something stupid, really.' she talks to herself in her mind.
" Ma... I-- "
Her mother cuts her off.
" Go to school, you'd be late then. "
