CHAPTER 1 THE FALLEN TREE

Hi! I am the author of this story. I was born in a rural city of Japan and today I am 19 years old. And this is my life... it's kinda like a roller coaster, so get ready for a crazy ride!

I have many secret abilities that seem to make my life easy and hard at the same time. I have the ability to create stories from just a title, and also I have a high IQ which makes analyzing much easier for me. I have a habit of creating long, high theories that turn into facts by time—and some stay as opinions. But the hard part is, I constantly see dark figures as they just disappear instantly. And my dreams? They were so colored that they seemed so real... most of my dreams were filled with nightmares that would wake me up sweating most of the time.

But that's enough story about me in the present. Instead, we should go back to the past, where I started remembering and creating memories.

Back when I was 4 years old, poverty hit hard, but my family's happiness was already enough for me at that time. Everything was fine until my father and I got into a car accident! I became the blame for distracting my father while he was driving and a truck got into us. My father still tried to protect me... and that moment kept haunting me. I could only recall him getting stabbed by a metal steel rod in the heart as he coughed blood on my face, groaning in pain saying, "D-don't worry, L-liam... everything is fine."

Sometimes during our birthdays, I would stay silent. My mother didn't blame me as she smiled and hummed a lullaby... she would whisper, "It's not your fault." She muttered it, but she knows she still blames me in the inside. I would only stare at her eyes; I saw the longingness and pain in her eyes.

As for my daily life, my big brother was always around me and acted happy for me, supporting me. But since our father had died trying to save me, weeks after that, he started ignoring me. Lately, he had been giving me the glare and sometimes would scold me, so I would just whimper and let him do whatever he wants.

On 1989, March 13, as I was playing in my bedroom, my big brother Kai slowly came and walked towards my room. I could hear his steps... it seemed like he was pissed. I slowly looked up from the door to see his face as he muttered something before stepping inside the room and slowly locking the door.
