Chapter 1: betrayal.
Vol 1: the devil's will.
The air was fresh, hot and filled with happiness. The booming sounds of activities and people wishing the crown prince and his bride a happy family could be heard. The sight of carriages moving and the royals guards guilding the crown prince and his bride, made the onlookers so excited. Because things like this happens only once in a while.
Sitting inside the best carriage made with expensive and rare jewelries, was a middle aged man on red top and pants. He had blue eyes, a plain face, average height, a wide smile of joy, and lastly he had short dark hair. Sitting on the other side was his bride. She had pink long hair packed in ponytails, she had a lot of make ups on, she looked so innocent like she can never kill a fly, and lastly she was looking like someone in her early twenties.
"I am very sure that, I'm the happiest man in the world today. ", Simeon said smiling happily.
Today he had married the love of his life. was a SS rank mage even do he didn't worked hard like some other great mages, he was just a true genius with natural talent for magic. And lastly he was about to become king soon.
"So what's on your mind? ", Marie asked (his wife ).
"I'm just so grateful that you chose me, even when there are many other guys at there that are ready to die for a pretty goddess like you. ", Simeon said with an genuine smile.
Maire wasn't really that beautiful compelled to other women in the city, but in Simeon eyes she was the most beautiful woman in the world and she was doing him a great favor by agreeing to marry him.
"I will be so f*cked up, if she had turned me down. ", Simeon thought privately.
"Wow, ". Marie replied with total surprise and blushed shyly.
Knock knock, a knock sound was heard outside the carriages door.
"Come in, ". Simeon ordered with authority.
The door opened and a middled age male guard with short hair walked in.
"Prince Simeon, we will soon arrive in the capital of the city. ", the guard said with a respectful bow.
"Okay. ", Marie replied in place of Simeon and waited for the guard to leave, so she get closer to Simeon and sit on his lap and gave him a kiss.
Simeon kissed her back with great excitement just like a little child seeing his mother for the first in a while. And then she brought out a small pocket knife from under her pants to stab Simeon.
"Sh*t, ". Simeon shouted and spit out a handful of blood.
"I know what you're thinking, that isn't enough to kill a strong person like you right, ". Marie said with an evil smile. "Well it was only made to keep your mana frozen, long enough to get you killed. ".
"Ma--ria why. ", Simeon said weakly as he fell on his own blood in the ground.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Sounds of explosions, shouts and sword clangs outside the carriage could be heard. An intense battle was clearly taking place.
"Why will Marie betray me? ".
"I thought she loved me. ".
"Who is attacking the royal guards. ".
So many thoughts filled Simeon's head, but there weren't just adding up.
Marie just stood still smiling while watching Simeon slowly die in pain. Marie who once looked like an angel to Simeon, now looks like the devil himself.
After a few minutes, the sound of the battle ended. The carriage door opened and a man with long hair walked in, tall, blue eyes which made him looked very much like Simeon. Walked in.
"Brother please help me. ", Simeon said with hope.
"Hehe. ", Simeon's brother known as Kevin laughed, "the gods knows how long I've waiting for the day you will beg me--- with so much desperation. ".
"Remember when I begged you to let me become the king. ", Kevin said laughing like a mad man.
"So this was all your plan, just to become king. ", Simeon said in an whimper due to the intense pain he was feeling.
"No, it was everyone's plan. ", Kevin replied as he raised his hand and a powerful telekinesis like force pulled Simeon through the carriages exit point.
Simeon fell outside and saw dead bodies all over everywhere, fire and the smell of burnt flesh and blood filled the air.
The complete royal family walked into the scene.
"You--- all be--- trayed me. ", Simeon said in between sobs because of the intense pain he was feeling.
"Congrats, you just figured out the obvious. ", the queen said (also Simeon's mother) with an evil smile.
Tears started rolling out of Simeon eyes as his emotions went into rampage, he couldn't hold it any longer. All the people he cared about dearly and was ready to do anything for, were his downfall.
"So let's just get this done fast, ". Simeon's father the king said. "I'm a very busy man. ".
The king raised the fingers of his right hand and a small blue light appeared.
"No, I want to kill him Myself. ", the queen said.
"Okay. ", the king said nonchalantly, "then do it fastly honey. ".
"You better kill me now. ", Simeon said in a low, but powerful tone. "Because if I survive this, I come for each and every single one of you. ".
"Don't worry dear, you are definitely not going to see tomorrow. ", the queen said.
The queen raised her hands and a lightning bolt appeared, and fly to strike Simeon right on the chest. A big hole appeared in his body as he loses consciousness.
The entire world turned dark for Simeon.
