Hazel Armstrong always felt different from other girls.
She lived in a small quiet town with her little sister, Flora. Flora was only ten years old, cheerful and curious, always following Hazel everywhere.
"Hazel, wait for me!" Flora shouted as Hazel walked toward the forest near their house.
Hazel smiled and held her sister's hand.
"Don't go too far, Flora. This forest is not normal."
Everyone in the town believed Hazel was just an ordinary girl. But Hazel knew the truth. Inside her heart, there was a strange power she didn't understand yet. Sometimes, when she felt scared or angry, the wind moved with her emotions… and the light around her changed.

The sky suddenly turned cloudy. A cold wind passed through the trees. Hazel placed her hand on her chest."Flora… do you feel that?" she whispered.
Flora looked around. "Feel what, sister?"
Before Hazel could answer, a voice came from behind.
"Who are you?"
Hazel turned around and saw a tall boy standing near the trees. His eyes were sharp but calm. He looked strong and serious.
"My name is Arick Sarocha," he said. "I'm new in this town."
Hazel felt her heart beat faster for no reason. Something about him felt… familiar.
"I'm Hazel," she replied. "And this is my sister, Flora."
Arick nodded. "Nice to meet you."
They walked back toward the town together. Arick told them about his family — his mother, father, his elder brother and his younger sister. They had just moved into the old house near the hill.
"My sister's name is Elena," Arick said softly. "She likes flowers."
Flora's eyes lit up. "I love flowers too!"
Hazel smiled. A strange feeling touched her heart. Maybe this meeting was not by chance.
That night, Hazel stood near her window. The moonlight touched her face.
"I feel like something is changing," she whispered to herself.
"My power… and this boy… Arick."
She didn't know yet that her hidden power was connected to the new family in And she didn't know that soon, Flora and Elena would become more than just friends.
