Chapter 52 - Chapter 52: Entering Paradise

Luna decided to hand over the footage she had recorded to Morgans later.

Luna asked Kuina to report on the results and any losses from this engagement.

Kuina immediately stepped forward and informed her that there were essentially no losses in their fight with the Navy this time.

But upon reflection, that made sense. After all, the battlefield was aboard the Navy Warships, not their own vessel, and The Girls hadn't sustained any injuries during the fight, so it could indeed be called a loss-free victory.

As for the battle results, they were straightforward. They had easily crushed the Navy, and inflicting such profound humiliation upon the Navy was the best possible outcome for their victory.

Not to mention the 2 billion Berries, at least one ton of Sea Stone, and the eternal pose pointing to Jaya Island —all of which were now in their hands.

"Senior, could we stay here for a little while? We'd like to hold a victory feast," Luna said, looking up at Crocus on the lighthouse.

"Hahahaha, of course, that's no problem," Crocus immediately agreed.

The strength displayed by Luna and her crew earned his respect, especially Luna. Her Void Ability shocked him profoundly, even more than Deya's Space Ability had previously.

The fact that they had caused the Navy such a humiliating defeat thrilled him greatly as he watched from the sidelines. There was no animosity between them, and he enjoyed a bit of excitement, just like when the Straw Hat Pirates came last time.

Having received permission, Luna and her crew held an open-air barbecue feast atop the lighthouse. After all, when outside, especially by the sea, barbecue is the best choice.

Since it was already approaching noon, they treated it as lunch.

Carmen was quite skilled at grilling, and she perfectly showcased her culinary skills here. Furthermore, food cooked using Phoenix Flame seemed to taste even better.

Seeing her companions eating contentedly, their faces full of enjoyment, and having received approval from Crocus and Laboon —yes, Laboon also ate some barbecue —Carmen was overjoyed and put even more effort into grilling the food in her hands.

There were many ingredients, mostly meat, especially Sea Kings meat. There were also some vegetables, as some are quite delicious after being grilled.

While they were happy here, the Navy, on the other hand, was about to suffer... At this moment, at Marineford.

Sengoku was in his office, handling the numerous documents, big and small, sent up by the Navy that required his personal review and approval. After reading them, he checked off those he approved and crossed out those he disagreed with, or added his comments.

As the Fleet Admiral, he was sometimes this busy.

Yet, at this very moment, he kept hearing the sound of someone chewing —the continuous crunching and masticating of hardened food.

Finally unable to bear it, Sengoku slammed his desk, stood up, and yelled at Garp, who was sitting on a nearby sofa still eating senbei.

"Bang!! Garp, you old coot, get out and eat! Don't disturb me! Wait a minute, those are my senbei —leave them before you roll out."

Garp wore an innocent expression and said, "Didn't you just take out this bag of senbei to make me quiet down?"

Sengoku's face immediately filled with embarrassment, and his mouth twitched. That's right, how could he forget so quickly? The bag of senbei in Garp's hand was one he had given him.

But suddenly, Sengoku realized something was amiss and yelled once more.

"I took out this precious bag of senbei to make you quiet! Since you are no longer quiet, get the hell out of here!"

Thinking that Garp was still making noise by eating senbei and disturbing his peace, it was perfectly justified for him to kick Garp out now.

"Fine, I'll go." Garp also thought it better to eat the bag of senbei by himself and was preparing to leave.

But suddenly, the transponder snail on Sengoku's desk rang. Seeing that the transponder snail had taken on the appearance of Staff Officer Tsuru, the two men paused, recalling what Staff Officer Tsuru had been doing recently.

Sengoku immediately answered the transponder snail and asked right away.

"Tsuru, how are things on your end? Momousagi and Tokikake have been retrieved, right? Did Sakazuki's Magma-Magma Fruit Ability have any effect on Luna?"

But what greeted him was naturally the silence of Staff Officer Tsuru on the other end, including Sakazuki, Momousagi, and Tokikake standing beside her.

Sakazuki, in particular, hearing Sengoku's last words, remembered his previous battle with Luna. The thought of being passively beaten and unable to land a single attack made him involuntarily shiver, though he quickly regained his composure.

A ruthless person encountering an unpredictable and insurmountable opponent truly seemed to be naturally countered.

Faced with the silence on the other side, Sengoku felt a wave of apprehension, and after a moment of silence, he cautiously spoke.

"Tsuru, please tell me."

"Sengoku, Gion and Kake have been rescued, but..."

Staff Officer Tsuru then recounted how Deya had disguised herself as a traveler to extract information about the Navy's formation, their subsequent plan to act, Sakazuki's intervention, and how they were then proactively attacked by the Pink Hat Pirates.

Sakazuki's ability was completely useless against Luna; he was severely beaten. The rest of them were also beaten by the other members of the Pink Hat Pirates. The Navy could be said to have suffered heavy casualties this time.

Hearing the entire sequence of events, both Sengoku and Garp fell silent.

Especially upon hearing that the Navy had suffered such profound humiliation in the end, kneeling on the ground and saying those words.

Sengoku finally couldn't bear it, spat out a mouthful of blood, and fell heavily to the floor.

"Bastards! A bunch of bastard girls!" Sengoku roared, his tone filled with sorrowful rage.

The Navy suffering such a great insult was truly more than he could bear!

Garp next to him was no better off. He regretted letting Luna and her crew go so easily back in the East Blue.

If he couldn't handle Luna's Void Ability, couldn't he at least deal with the other young girls? He should have at least captured one or two and sent them to prison.

But recalling Luna's temper and style, if he had truly done that, the Navy would simply be unable to withstand Luna's wrath. Armed with her Void Ability, they could only watch helplessly as Luna struck against them.

Garp immediately slumped.

After all, it seemed that even a Devil Fruit Ability couldn't counter Luna's Void Ability. Damn it, why did such a troublesome Devil Fruit Ability appear on the Pirate side? And belonging to a crazy girl like Luna, whose crew members, the other girls, were also far from ordinary individuals.

The Pink Hat Pirates could already be considered a major potential enemy for the Navy now.

"Sengoku, what should we do now?" Tsuru asked, her expression somewhat bitter on the other end.

There was nothing they could do. Everything Luna had displayed now felt like a huge mountain pressing down on the Navy, putting enormous pressure on them.

"For now, let's not take any direct action. Have the intelligence department keep a close watch on them. Stick to the original plan: let some Bounty Hunters and Pirates go cause them trouble. The Navy should still focus on other forces, just like before."

Sengoku said immediately. After these few incidents, Sengoku was truly afraid of Luna. If the Navy continued this way, they would only invite trouble and suffer losses due to a lack of intelligence. Therefore, it was better to let those damned and foolish Bounty Hunters and Pirates test them out.

And with that, the Navy's brief conversation came to an end.

But they didn't know that what would cause them further suffering was coming soon... Meanwhile, Luna and her crew's barbecue feast was still ongoing. The other Girls were eating, playing, and having a blast. Only Luna was asking Crocus about various things, especially the Roger Pirates. From Crocus, she learned a lot about the Roger Pirates' adventures back then, particularly Skypiea.

This famous landmark in the Pirate World was something she absolutely couldn't miss. But, hehe, she was also secretly coveting the gold.

And some jewels. Luna knew that in her previous life, she didn't even own a single decent piece of gold jewelry. Now that she had the chance, how could she miss it?

This was also why she demanded the eternal pose to Jaya Island from the Navy and why she was concerned about the current movements of the straw hat crew.

Luna obtained a lot of useful information from Crocus, and in return, Luna told him and the whale Laboon that Brook of the Rumbar Pirates was actually still alive.

Specifically, that Brook would definitely be brought back by the Straw Hat Pirates later, without fail.

The man and the whale were stunned for a moment, then they were instantly overjoyed. Laboon, in particular, shed tears of excitement, and after letting out a great cry, sprayed a large amount of seawater from its back.

But at the same time, they also believed in that boy wearing the straw hat...

"Goodbye, Laboon, Uncle Crocus."

"Take care."

Around one in the afternoon, the barbecue feast ended. Luna and her crew boarded their pirate ship and left, officially sailing toward Paradise.

At the stern of the ship, they bid farewell to Laboon and Crocus.

"Oh, safe travels to you girls too."

"Awoooo——."

Crocus and Laboon watched them depart.

Looking at the pirate ship gradually sailing away, Crocus said.

"Roger, although I'm not entirely sure, perhaps they are also the Pirate crew we've been waiting for. I bet they will shock and turn this world and this sea upside down in the future, hahahaha."

"Nojiko, this is the eternal pose for Jaya Island. Also, the weather changes and severity in Paradise are much worse than in the four seas. In any case, I'm handing it over to you."

On this side, Luna also handed the eternal pose for Jaya Island to Nojiko and said.

They had to go there immediately. She didn't need to make special trips to Alabasta, Little Garden, or Drum Island to help Vivi, like Luffy and his crew did, so they could go straight there.

She, Luna, absolutely could not miss the Knock-Up Stream leading to Skypiea.
