Veyra froze for a moment, then asked in surprise, "Lucien didn't find you? He dove underwater to look for you a week ago. He told me that Theron left him clues to where he took you…"
She shook her head. "I managed to escape, so even if he went to that cave, he would not be able to find me. Theron wouldn't be there either; he was swept out of the cave by the current and disappeared. When I woke up, the mermaid princess had already rescued me."
She told him about her experiences over the past few days, but concealed information about the system and the equipment it provided. She's not planning on letting anyone else know about the system, even if she fully believes in that person.
"Where did Lucien even go? The sea is so dangerous, and there are a bunch of beastmen that are above level 6," Celeste asked anxiously.
