And just like that, two days passed. And in those two days, no matter where we were, either be at school, the schools restroom, Yui's or my house, me and Yui, just fucked. That was the objective. My goal was to get her pregnant. And Yui's objective was to conceive. So we took every opportunity we had.
And also around this time, I don't know how, but some classmates of ours found out that me and Yui were dating. No one knew where this originated, but I think it's due to the previous theory that I might have saved Yui.
Everyone actually didn't complain that much. But a lot of the male students were jelous of me.
They wished they had my opportunity, but they knew deep down, that if they were in my shoes during that event confronting official members from the infamous Largin gang, they would have fled without thinking twice.
So they had no choice but to grit their teeth and curse me in their heart. But it didn't matter. Everything was just normal, truly.
That was until...
We all heard the rumbling first. Then dozens of footsteps and a couress of people shouting.
The school courtyard shoke violently. And when I looked outside with my laziest expression, my heart practically dropped.
As outside the school gates stood 50 men on bikes.
Their black jackets showing the symbol of the largest local gang across their backs and front.
And at the front stood three familiar figures. They were the three thugs I beat up in the largin alley accident.
Naturally, the commotion drew the attention of the teachers and the school's security team. Several of them moved quickly toward the front gates, forming a thin, uncertain line between the students and the gang outside.
That was when I noticed him.
Standing slightly apart from the others—turned just a bit to the left, calmly observing everything—was a massive man. I didn't need anyone to tell me who he was.
I was 100% sure that he was their leader.
He had the build of a classic gangster boss: tall, broad-shouldered, his body packed with dense, hardened muscle. The kind of physique that didn't come from gyms alone, but from years of violence. Yet it wasn't his size that terrified everyone.
It was his eyes.
A deep, unsettling red. Those were the eyes of someone who had survived countless fights and never once doubted he would walk away from the next. A jagged scar ran from above his left eye, cutting downward across his face—a mark that looked earned, not accidental.
Just his presence alone made the teachers hesitate.
Still, one of them stepped forward.
Mr. Kirikama—the science teacher for Classes B and C, someone I recognized immediately—swallowed hard and approached the gate. He spoke to the man, trying to keep his voice steady.
I couldn't hear their words from where I stood, but I didn't need to.
I was sure he was asking what their purpoae was here.
For a brief moment, the leader listened.
Then my mind stopped working not just my mind but all my fellow classmates mind did the exact same as the gang leader did something that shocked everyone.
Without anykind of warning, the man stepped forward and struck Mr. Kirikama across the face.
The sound echoed like a gunshot in the silence.
Our teacher's body was lifted clean off the ground, thrown backward before crashing onto the pavement. Gasps erupted around me. Some students screamed. Others froze, unable to process what they'd just seen.
The leader didn't even look at him.
Instead, he extended his right hand slightly, palm open—as if expecting something.
One of the gang members immediately stepped forward and placed a microphone into his hand.
The man rolled his shoulder once, coughed lightly into his fist, then brought the microphone to his mouth.
And when he spoke—
He made sure everyone could hear him.
"Listen up, maggots. I am Ken Komuro of the Largin Gang! I'm sure you've all heard of my gang. But not long ago, someone dared enter my territory and beat up three of my men, to the point that they had to be taken to the hospital for treatment! Now, normally i would not be angry because of this, but in my territory?! Nuh-uh, that ain't going to be happening! So listen up, if you know yourself, show up. My men might not know your name, but they still remember your face! So I will give this school a chance. I'll give you five minutes, and if you don't show up before then, I'm sending my gang to break and beat up everything and everyone in this school, until you finally show up! If not, then everyone's going to suffer for your mistake. You better be manly enough to show up! Because if you're manly enough to beat up my men, then you're manly enough to get ready to get your ass whooped! Remember, five minutes. And what I did to the teacher was just a warning, so he can take me, take this message serious!"
From the moment the gang leader took the microphone, a strange sense of dread crawled up my spine.
A premonition.
I didn't stop to think.
I pushed away from the classroom window, bolted into the hallway, and sprinted down the corridor. My shoes slapped against the floor as I ran straight for Yui's classroom. She was already standing by the glass, staring outside—frozen.
I didn't waste time explaining.
I grabbed her wrist and pulled.
She gasped as I yanked her away from the window and started running. She was too shocked to ask what was happening, but the moment she caught a glimpse of the gang outside, her body stiffened. Memories flooded back all at once.
She understood immediately.
It was the same look she'd had that night.
"Shiedo—where are we going?" she asked breathlessly as we ran.
"As far away from here as possible," I said without slowing down. "They came back. That means they want revenge. If they see you, they'll try something again."
She didn't argue.
"If we go straight home, they'll find us eventually," I continued. "They'll get our addresses. So we grab your passport, clothes—everything. We call our parents. We get plane tickets. We leave the city. The country. As far as we can."
Yui was shaken, confused by how fast everything was happening—but she nodded.
This gang was infamous for a reason.
Unless you were one of the two other major gangs like Hafu or Zetsunku—no one stood against them. Anyone else who crossed their path was crushed without mercy. The rumors about how they dealt with obstacles were brutal enough to make grown men flinch.
We ran.
And then… I stopped.
Right in the middle of the hallway.
Yui nearly collided with my back. She looked up at me, and instantly understood.
She saw it on my face.
The conflict.
Yui knew shiedo wasn't the kind of man who could abandon others to save himself. She knew that. But she also saw how desperately I wanted to take her and disappear—how badly he wanted to protect her, even if it meant running away.
My teeth clenched so hard I tasted blood.
I didn't move.
Two minutes passed.
Then three.
Five.
Then the voice echoed through the school again—amplified, mocking.
"Time's up!"
My blood ran cold.
"Man! Get yourself ready," the leader shouted through the microphone. "I warned you."
I heard footsteps. Shouting. Panic spreading like wildfire.
By now, everyone knew.
The rumors had confirmed it.
I was the one who saved her.
Some students were probably searching for me—hoping to hand me over. Others were just trying to escape. The hallways filled with chaos.
Then it started.
The sound of heavy boots storming inside the building.
Metal slamming into doors.
Screams.
The sickening thud of fists connecting with flesh.
From the second floor, where the classrooms were, we could see everything. The gang tore through the first floor with terrifying speed. Security guards were overwhelmed almost instantly—ten men were enough to break them like twigs.
If I had to guess, it would take them two minutes to clear the ground floor.
Another ten to reach us.
Yui grabbed my shoulders and shook me hard.
"Shiedo!"
I finally looked at her.
This time, my eyes were steady. This wasn't the expression of hella lazy guy but one of a man who made a decisive decision.
This was my resolve.
I placed my hands on Yui's shoulders, gently but firmly, and pried her fingers away from my arm.
"I have to go," I said.
She froze.
"I can't just leave them," I continued quietly. "I won't."
The screams echoed again—closer now. Yui grabbed my sleeve. "Shiedo… please don't—"
I squeezed her hand. "It'll be fine i promise. But i have to help the others."
Even though I knew it probably wouldn't.
"Yui—follow the plan," I said firmly. "Just like I told you. I'll come back to you. No matter what."
I met her eyes.
"It's a promise."
Then I turned away.
Within seconds, I was already descending the stairs.
A promise heh? How cringe of me to say that especially due to what was about to go down.
I didn't make it halfway down before three figures stepped into my path.
Gang members.
They didn't speak. They didn't threaten me.
They didn't get the chance. My previous lazy demeanor was long gone. My eyes were sharp and focused.
I drove my boot straight into the chest of the first one. The impact was brutal—his body lifted off the ground and slammed through the nearby door in an explosion of wood and glass.
The hallway went dead silent.
Moments later, every eye in the school turned toward the entrance.
The doors swung open.
I walked out calmly, dragging two men behind me—one in each hand, fingers locked around their throats. Their boots scraped uselessly across the pavement as I pulled them forward like dead weight.
I stopped a few steps from the gate.
Then I threw them down.
Their bodies hit the ground hard. Faces swollen. Bruised. Unconscious.
No one spoke.
The engines idled. The wind carried the smell of oil and dust.
I stepped forward and raised my voice.
"I'm the one you're looking for."
The gang stirred.
"I'm the one who took down your three men before," I continued evenly. "And I just added two more to the list."
I paused, glanced back toward the entrance.
"…Make that three."
At last, the leader moved.
He looked at me calmly—almost amused—as if I were exactly where he expected me to be.
And in that moment, I knew.
There would be no talking our way out of this.
"So you're the brat," he roared. "Your the brat who humiliated my men?"
"..."
Silence that's all he got from shiedo.
The leader clicked his tongue and said to me, "Listen up, kid."
The leader's voice was calm—too calm—as it carried across the school grounds.
"The only reason this is happening is because I can't let my men get beaten by some average nobody who isn't even part of the Three Great Gangs." His red eyes narrowed slightly. "If word got out, the other gangs would laugh. My name would lose weight. My gang would look weak."
He shook his head once, almost regretfully.
"And that's something I won't allow."
He took a step forward.
"So, sorry—but you've left me no choice. You have to die."
A murmur rippled through the gang behind him.
"If you were part of one of the other two major gangs," he continued, "this would be a proper gang war. Rules. Consequences. Respect." His gaze hardened. "But you're just an outsider. An average kid who had no right to interfere."
He raised his hand and pointed straight at me.
"Man," he said coldly, not even raising his voice, "teach him a lesson."
The gang shifted.
Boots scraped against asphalt.
And every instinct in my body screamed—
FIGHT!
Then all 47 remaining men charged at me at once. On the outside my expression continued to remain calm but... something inside of me slowly began to awaken.
