When he felt he was lying on something, León opened his eyes almost instantly. The first thing he saw was a dark wall that, at first glance, looked luxurious.
'But what?' He was confused. Just a moment ago he had been in that apartment when… 'Was that a system?' he thought. He remembered something exactly like that from several web novels he had read in his time.
"No… I must have imagined it," he murmured, covering his face with both hands. Then he glanced sideways around the room. It was immense; his small house could easily fit inside and there would still be space left over.
'Where the hell am I—?' But at that moment the same screen from before appeared out of nowhere in front of him.
From the shock, León ended up falling off the bed, hitting the back of his head against the floor. 'Shit… What the fuck was that?' he thought with his eyes closed, but when he opened them he was surprised to see the screen was still there, right next to him.
This time, instead of reacting badly, he held his breath until he let it out in a sigh. "Okay…"
[Beast Tamer System]

[Welcome, host, to the world of: "Exploiting the Heroines' Bugs to Become Super OP"]
Upon reading that, León had several conflicting thoughts. On one hand, he felt excitement; he had read this hundreds of times. But on the other, fear flooded him. All of this was unreal.
"Ex-Exploiting the heroines' bugs to become super OP?" he murmured. He felt like he had heard that name before, but he couldn't remember where.
The system, apparently reading his thoughts, responded:
[Exactly! You are in that novel you read a while ago. Exciting, isn't it?]
'Huh?' Then he reacted in an almost chaotic way. He got up from the floor as fast as he could, though he tripped several times. After that, frantically, he began pacing in circles around the room.
'No, no, no, no… This has to be a fucking joke, right?' He wished with all his strength that this was a nightmare. All the excitement he might have felt vanished instantly.
[What's wrong? Aren't you excited?]
'Excited?' "EXCITED!?" he shouted, angry, glaring at the system.
"Of all the novels I read, why the fuck did you have to bring me to the most screwed-up one?" he demanded. However, the system didn't respond, which only made him more agitated.
'This is bullshit… I would have preferred to stay dead.'
León's reaction had a reason. That novel was completely fucked: powerful beasts capable of destroying countries without difficulty and individuals with almost similar power who killed anyone who got in their way.
The worst part for León was the villainesses. Women with pasts or actions that were far too questionable who, in the novel, were often normal academy students.
In the end, they turned against the other races and caused enormous chaos, though thanks to the protagonist, Mark, that was prevented. But that didn't calm León down at all. The worst character in the entire novel was precisely him: Mark.
A guy who was incredibly talented, but fucking stupid. Because of wrong decisions, he caused the death of countless students and several heroines.
'God, god, God… This can't be happening to me…'
[Are those the only reasons you're complaining? Seriously?]
'Huh?' he thought, bewildered by that message. Before he could even get annoyed, the text changed.
[You've lived a life full of abuse, mockery, and all kinds of things. You're nobody, you're worth nothing. And you think you have the right to complain about the system's decision?]
Reading that felt like a low blow to León. Though he didn't want to admit it, it was true. He was nothing…
"Tsk…" he clicked his tongue, lowering his gaze.
[See? You lower your eyes as soon as things get tough… But relax, host! The Beast Tamer System—me—will help you become the true protagonist of "Exploiting the Heroines' Bugs to Become Super OP"!]
León could only read that with a certain wry amusement as he sat on the floor, leaning against the cold marble. Without saying anything or thinking anything specific, he looked at the screen.
[Let me tell you something, host. Maybe to others, in your previous world, you were worth nothing, but to me that's not the case…]
León narrowed his eyes, surprised by those words.
[You weren't sent here by mere luck, no. But to know the reason, you'll have to become strong. The system will help you, but first you must accept some mandatory requirements.]
Tame all SSS/SSR-rank legendary beasts.
Conquer all the heroines and villainesses.
Conquer the world.
[Do you accept?]
[Yes / No]
He remained silent for several seconds, thinking about what he had read. He would practically become a villain, but the part about the system accompanying him and helping him touched something inside.
León had never had anyone who believed in him, and if there ever had been, it turned out to be a joke. That's why reading that made him feel a small spark of hope.
"R-really? You'll help me so no one steps on me again? So I can be someone in life?" he murmured.
[Yes! I'll make you someone powerful, someone renowned. Someone imposing who breaks the laws of the world and shapes it in his image. León, the Beast Tamer System will accompany you until your last breath.]
Without more, without needing to read anything else, León accepted, mentally pressing the [Yes] button.
'All right… I won't let any son of a bitch look down on me again.'

León read everything with complete attention. His stats were low, but he didn't pay too much attention to that. However, when he got to the description of his unique skill, he got excited.
'It's definitely a broken skill,' he thought.
Then he read his new surname again, and when he did, a bitter feeling invaded him.
'No fucking way…'
