Chapter 11 - Breakthrough in danger

As soon as Mo Fan breathed a sigh of relief after the Azure Flame burst, a massive figure suddenly darted out.

Those two Magic Wolves weren't dead!!

No, to be precise, one died, but one was still alive. Mo Fan's nerves were completely taut at that moment!

When the Magic Wolf's sharp claws lunged towards his head, he immediately rolled to the side.

"Pfft!!"

Even though he was very quick, he was still grazed on the arm by the sharp edge.

The sudden pain made him calm down considerably.

"Lightning Seal - Wild Whip!"

Sizzle sizzle sizzle!!!

The One-Eyed Magic Wolf, whose attack had failed, was instantly paralyzed.

But even while paralyzed, it still rigidly moved its body!

It seemed intent on fighting to the death.

"Awooooo~~~!!!!"

However, due to the paralysis, it couldn't move easily. But with its howl, other wolf howls suddenly echoed from the forest!

Only then did Mo Fan realize that he might have stumbled upon a One-Eyed Magic Wolf's nest!

At that moment, he stopped thinking about killing and immediately turned to run.

As things stood, he couldn't face so many One-Eyed Magic Wolves alone. Furthermore, as only an Initial Mage, his magic energy wasn't enough!

He sprinted quickly, at a speed that even a former sprint champion couldn't match.

But the sounds behind him grew closer, making Mo Fan incredibly nervous. Fortunately, while frantically escaping, he noticed a small cave ahead.

Without any hesitation, he directly darted into it.

The cave wasn't large; at least, the One-Eyed Magic Wolf couldn't squeeze in. Moreover, the cave was very deep, and Mo Fan seemed to find hope of survival. He rushed to the deepest part, and by the end, he even had to crouch to move forward.

But the problem was, after crouching for not long, there was no path ahead.

At this point, due to the wound on his arm and constantly crouching, he even felt a bit dizzy. Helpless, he leaned against the wall and sat down.

"Bang bang bang!!!"

"Bang bang bang!!!"

As soon as he sat down, tight banging sounds came from outside.

With violent banging outside and no retreat inside, he, on the contrary, appeared exceptionally calm and composed at this moment.

Because he knew that being anxious now was useless, he remained very calm.

He tore off a piece of his clothes and tied it around the constantly bleeding wound. After a simple treatment, Mo Fan suddenly noticed the Little Loach trembling!

The Little Loach trembling at this moment, didn't that mean the spirit essence it had absorbed earlier was having an effect?

Indeed, Mo Fan saw that the Little Loach seemed to have advanced again. And very quickly, he felt a surge of energy pouring into his spiritual world.

Mo Fan didn't hesitate and immediately guided this energy into the Fire Element.

The reddish-blue Star Dust emitted a fluctuating light. Outside the Star Dust, a faint light curtain enveloped it, and the light blooming from within the Star Dust was trying to break through this hazy curtain.

The light curtain was like an eggshell, like a silkworm cocoon, encasing the energy about to break free. It appeared motionless under the impact of magic energy, yet it clearly swelled due to the surging energy within.

Relying solely on Mo Fan himself, there was a possibility of a breakthrough in danger, though the probability was very small. But with the Little Loach's assistance, this probability would greatly increase.

As the energy transmitted by the Little Loach resembled countless small rivers converging into one main river, the silent river suddenly surged, with rolling waves crashing against the riverbanks!

The outer silkworm cocoon finally developed cracks, with spiderweb-like patterns spreading irregularly outwards, and the cracks grew larger and larger. Sensing this, Mo Fan also clearly felt his spirit enduring a huge energy rebound, causing a splitting headache.

If it were normal times, Mo Fan might give up when such pain struck. But now, on the brink of death, how could he possibly give up?

The feedback spiritual impact sometimes felt like swords piercing through his brain, and sometimes like an ocean in a storm, surging and colliding. This spiritual pain was something Mo Fan had never experienced in his cultivation process. It was thousands of times stronger than the exhaustion of draining all his energy; it was like torture and torment in a nightmare.

"Bang bang bang!!!"

Outside, the Magic Wolves were still relentlessly banging against the small cave. At this point, some small stones were already falling inside the cave.

But no matter how the threat outside approached, he remained immersed in breaking through the barrier.

And as the light grew weaker and weaker, so weak that it was less than a distant star, about to disappear into the black night sky. At this moment, Mo Fan suddenly opened his eyes!

Azure Flame burned intensely in his eyes!

Star Dust had transformed into a Star Cloud; he had succeeded. He had successfully elevated his Fire Element to Intermediate Mage within two and a half years of his magic awakening. Although his Thunder Element didn't have enough energy to break through, the advancement of one magic element meant that he wouldn't die.

Originally, his greatly depleted magic energy was now completely replenished.

Star Dust in the universe is just a tiny speck of dust; they exist, yet they are incredibly small, and the energy they can provide to a Mage is quite limited.

However, Star Clouds and Star Dust are completely different. A whole expanse of star clusters, occupying a vast area, their radiance can already be described as bright; they are so clearly visible in the vast spiritual universe, adorning a chaotic spiritual world!

Dust and clouds, the difference between them is truly too obvious. Now, he no longer needs to worry about insufficient magic energy!

At least, when facing these little wolf cubs, he no longer needs to worry about that.

"Bang bang bang!!!"

"…"

Without lingering in the Intermediate Mage stage, Mo Fan crouched and moved towards the outside. Soon, he stood up.

From here, he could see the One-Eyed Magic Wolf's ferocious large head, trying to constantly push its way inside.

"Azure Flame - Fire Ignition - Eruption!"

Whoosh!

A fire mass gathered in his hand, still the same size, formed, and shot out rapidly!

"Boom!"

"Boom!!!"

Under the impact of the fire mass, the Magic Wolf instantly pulled its head back!

Although the attack effect was the same, Mo Fan's release speed and quantity were completely different!

Whoosh whoosh whoosh!!!

Several fire masses were thrown out of the cave in succession!

Boom boom boom!!!

Immediately following that were violent roars.

When the Azure Flame burst like a sea of fire, Mo Fan walked out of the cave.

Upon emerging, he saw more than ten Magic Wolves engulfed in the sea of fire, and six or seven One-Eyed Magic Wolves, affected by the impact, sensed Mo Fan's aura and immediately turned and fled.

Although Mo Fan couldn't cast Intermediate Mage Magic yet, at this moment, he was already a genuine Intermediate Mage.

Watching them flee, Mo Fan didn't pursue. After collecting the remnant souls of these Magic Wolves, he left without even lingering.

Often, within a nest, there is a high possibility of War General Level Magic Wolves existing!

Even he, at his current state, would most likely be killed if he encountered a War General Level Bone Spike Demonic Wolf. Therefore, Mo Fan chose to escape immediately.
