The ground of Kurukshetra was nothing but a blackened wasteland—shattered earth drenched in the endless blood of fallen warriors. Bodies lay scattered everywhere, each one clad in armor marked with six different emblems on their backs. An entire land ruined beyond recognition.

At the center of this destruction, a lone boy sat on a broken stone. He wore a mask—its forehead marked with a glowing Shiv Tilak, and a massive trident symbol etched across the center. A trident symbol rested on his neck both side.In the silence, he muttered, voice cold:

"I told them…I have never lost a single fight. And now they have their proof."

Blood dripped slowly from his right hand.

Beside him, sitting on another large stone, a man clenched his fist. A golden light erupted from it, humming with divine power. The man glared at the masked boy.

"I hope you understand now. Don't ever fight me again."

He stepped forward carefully, as if approaching a beast.

The boy tilted his head.

"Tell your leader… next time, train you better."

The man roared and lunged. The boy didn't even rise.In one swift motion, he lifted his legs, locked them around the man's head, and slammed him into the ground.A sickening crack echoed. The glowing light faded from the man's broken hand as the earth around them split with the impact.

The boy sighed.

"I gave you a hint. Next time… try living a life for yourself."

He raised his left hand—black, alive, pulsing like a second heart. Dark veins and moving arteries twisted beneath the skin.He touched the corpse at his feet. Instantly, the body turned pitch-black… and disintegrated into nothingness.

"I hope you live a better life than me,"

he murmured to the fading dust.

The narrator's voice rose as the scene darkened:

"And that was the end of the war…A war where one boy destroyed the armies of all seven realms without suffering a single scratch. The world screamed his name—THE NIGHTMARE."

The battlefield dissolved into darkness…Then slowly, bright white clouds filled the scene.

Eighty years passed.

A river lay frozen in the middle of a quiet, beautiful valley. No blood. No bodies. No signs of war.

Only a small white house stood there—silent, untouched by the world.

Inside, in a blue-walled room, a boy with grey hair sat quietly. His table was cluttered with a few items: an army uniform, small tools, and an old photograph of him and a girl pinned to the wall.

His eyes, a striking shade of blue, carried a faint Shiv Tilak mark glowing softly above them.

He held a small box in his hands, wrapping his fingers around it as if guarding something important.

Suddenly, footsteps echoed from the upper floor.

A girl came downstairs—her green eyes bright, the same faint Shiv Tilak mark shining on her forehead. A small green trident symbol rested on her left neck like a birthmark.

Grey curls fell gently over her shoulders as she walked toward the door.

She opened it, letting the cold valley air drift in.

In her soft voice, she called out,"Brother, I'm going out for some time."

From inside, the boy...-Ansh replied, "Okay, Siya… but remember, stay around the house."

Siya stepped outside. The moment the door closed behind her, her smile vanished.

"Stay around the house… huh?"

she muttered, frustration tightening her voice. She looked out toward the endless white horizon.

"At least once… I want to go beyond this valley."

Inside the house, Ansh looked down at his left hand— completely normal like always. He flexed his fingers slowly and whispered,

"Father… it's been eighteen years since I was born."

He lifted his gaze toward the sky visible through the window.

"But I don't know why… I feel like something dangerous is out there. Something dangerous… but important."

The clouds drifted gently across the blue sky.

Outside, Siya stood near the door, waiting for someone with a restless expression.Moments later, a small sheep trotted into the yard.

Siya's face brightened."You're late, Misti."

The little sheep wagged her tail happily and hopped toward her. Siya caught her in her arms and sighed playfully.

"Trying to convince me again?" she teased.

Misti puffed out her tiny cheeks in a dramatic exhale.

Siya laughed."Okay, okay… I'm convinced."

They walked together toward the frozen lake, the cold air sparkling around them.

"It's time for our water fight," Siya declared.

She tossed Misti gently into the shallow edge of the lake. The sheep splashed back at her, spraying cold droplets all over Siya.

Siya giggled—a soft, warm sound echoing through the quiet valley.

The scene slowly faded.

Ansh looked at the wrapped box in his hands."Will she like it?" he wondered aloud.

A moment later he sighed."Probably not."

Still, he picked up the small white box and stepped out of his room.He walked toward the doorway, opened the door, and stepped into the cold air.

The sun was resting gently on the quiet lake, painting the valley in shades of gold and orange.Ansh walked toward the lake and spotted Siya and Misti playing near the edge.A soft smile appeared on his face.

After a few moments, both Siya and Misti fell onto the snow-covered ground, laughing as the sunset glowed behind them.

Siya turned to Misti, her voice suddenly softer.

"Misti… I need to tell you something."

The little sheep lifted her head, listening.

Siya took a small breath."I want to go outside the valley."

Ansh froze in place, listening quietly from behind a cluster of trees.

Siya continued, her eyes drifting toward the horizon.

"Because… I want to see the world.I want to meet someone who loves me the way my brother does…And build a family—one where my brother is a part of it."

She looked to her right, her expression thoughtful."Just like Father always said… that's how things happen in the normal world."

Hearing her words, Ansh's smile faded. He slowly loosened his grip on the white box…And then tossed it to the side.

He exhaled deeply, forcing himself to smile again.

"Looks like I got a gift for you now…"

he whispered, stepping forward.

After a while, Ansh slowly walked toward Siya, the fading sunlight outlining his figure.

"Siya… we should go meet them."

Siya's smile slowly vanished. She brushed the snow from her clothes and stood beside him.Neither spoke as they walked together, their footsteps quiet against the frozen ground.

At the edge of the valley, beneath an old leafless tree, a small wooden grave waited—simple, worn by time, but cared for with love.Wildflowers surrounded it, placed carefully over the months.A cracked wooden pendant hung from a branch, swaying gently in the wind—a memory preserved in silence.

Together, Ansh and Siya knelt before the grave.

For a long moment, neither of them said a word. The cold breeze whispered between the trees, as if nature itself lowered its head with them.

Finally, Ansh placed his hand on the snow-covered earth and spoke softly, his voice trembling despite his efforts to stay strong.

"It's been a year, Father… a whole year since your shadow left our world."

Beside him, Siya's eyes glistened. She lowered her head and whispered, "We miss you every day… both of us. I wish you were still here. I wish you could see us grow."

A small flutter of wind passed through the branches, shaking loose a few crystals of frost. It felt almost like a gentle answer… or a silent blessing.

Siya rested her hand beside Ansh's and whispered,"We hope we're making you proud."

The siblings bowed together one last time, their heads lowering in perfect unison—a shared grief, a shared love.

Only then did they rise, turning toward the fading horizon.

As they walked back, Ansh stopped.

"Siya… I have a question."

She turned to him, curious.

Ansh took a breath, gathering courage that seemed oddly heavy.

"Do you want to go outside… with me?"

Siya blinked, her eyes widening.

Before she could speak, Ansh continued,

"I think we should see the world. We've been here for eighteen years… ever since we were born."

He looked at her with a soft, hopeful smile.

"We'll be together… in a new world."

Siya's eyes trembled, filling with tears. She nodded slowly."Thank you… brother."

Ansh smiled gently."Happy birthday, Siya."

He turned toward the wooden grave and whispered under his breath:

"I wish… we could all go together."

Then he stepped forward, and Siya walked beside him—two shadows moving happily across the snow.

"Be ready," Ansh said with a grin."We're leaving tomorrow."

Siya froze mid-step."Huh!? Brother—you should've told me earlier! I have to prepare!"

Ansh laughed softly as both of them headed back to the little white house glowing with golden reflections from the lake.

Inside, Ansh packed his bag—folding clothes neatly, checking each item twice. After he finished, a glimmer on the table caught his eye.

A small bracelet lay beside a folded piece of paper.

He picked up the note and opened it.

"Happy birthday, Brother.Father gave me this and told me,'Give it to Ansh on his eighteenth birthday.'— Siya"

Ansh's eyes softened. For a moment, he simply stood there… unmoving… letting the warmth of the message sink into him.

He fastened the bracelet around his wrist."Thank you, Siya…" he whispered.

He turned off the light and curled into bed.

The house fell silent.Completely still.

Then…

A faint wind slipped through the half-open window, brushing the curtains aside.Moonlight stretched across the room and gently touched the bracelet.

In an instant, the metal shimmered.

A soft blue glow spread across its surface—calm at first, then growing brighter, flowing like liquid light.

Ansh remained asleep, unaware.

The trident mark on his right neck pulsed—once… twice… then suddenly ignited in the same bright blue.Lines of energy crawled across his skin like living light.

On the bracelet, ancient marks appeared one by one—carved by an unseen force.First a spark, then a swirling curve, then sharp strokes of glowing script.

Slowly, clearly, the symbol formed:

अपरिमित

Aparimita — Unbounded. Limitless.

The letters burned with silent, ancient power—alive, awakening.

Slowly… the glow began to fade. The blue light softened, the swirling symbols calmed, and the room returned to its quiet, peaceful darkness. The wind slipped away, the curtains stilled, and the bracelet rested quietly against Ansh's wrist—its secret hidden once more.

And with that…the first chapter came to an end.
