Chapter 55 - "Saga’s Cruelty, Seiya’s Faith."

-----

-----

A cruel, contemptuous smile curled across Saga's lips as he looked down at his opponent from above.

"Now do you understand? Your pathetic Bronze Cloth can't possibly withstand Athena's vast, ocean-like divine Cosmo."

Seiya wanted to shout back. He wanted to deny it.

But the tearing agony ripping through every inch of his body stole the words from his throat. The pain pierced straight through him, shattered his control, and dragged out a scream that didn't even sound human.

"AAAAAHHH—!"

His eyes burned red with blood. He tried to hold himself together, but Athena's overwhelming power was rebounding through him, tearing his body apart from the inside.

Even the few remaining fragments of his Cloth were cracking under the overload, spiderweb fractures spreading across their surface.

"Go on. Hate it," Saga sneered. "Hate your weakness. Hate the foolish path you chose when you became a Saint."

"Hate your guardian constellation, too. Pitiful Pegasus!"

With a casual flick of his hand, he fired several condensed spheres of Cosmo. They exploded around Seiya, dust and debris erupting into the sky.

"Hate? Why would I hate anything?"

Somehow, Seiya began to adapt to the pain beyond his limits. Slowly, stubbornly, he lifted his head. A wild, unyielding grin tugged at his lips.

"Right now… my whole body's burning. It's so damn hot… it's exhilarating!"

Saga's brows twitched. A flicker of surprise crossed his eyes. But to him, Seiya was nothing more than a madman clinging to life in his final moments.

"Oh? You like burning?" Saga raised his right hand, mockery dripping from his voice. "Then burn to ashes."

A terrifying Cosmo gathered in his palm, swelling to a magnitude unlike anything before.

The Golden Cosmo inside Saga erupted with a roar.

Blue-violet lightning coiled around his hand like living dragons, ripping through the air. The electricity carried a violent gravitational pull.

Broken stones, shattered walls—everything nearby was dragged toward him. Even Seiya himself, battered and bleeding, was being pulled in by that terrifying force.

"Damn it!"

Seiya planted his feet, straining to hold his ground, using the last scraps of strength in his body to resist. It was useless. Like trying to stop a tidal wave with bare hands.

All he could do was watch as Saga's ultimate attack fully took shape.

A sphere of annihilation—Athena's divine Cosmo fused perfectly with Saga's own power. Its presence alone made the soul tremble, as if it could devour the universe in the next heartbeat.

The forbidden secret of Gemini.

The Cosmo pushed to its absolute limit—an explosion capable of creating or destroying galaxies.

"Galaxian Explosion!!!"

With a thunderous roar, Saga hurled the swirling green orb of death straight at Seiya.

In an instant, the sky darkened. Massive bolts of lightning split the chaotic clouds.

And yet—

Seiya did not flinch.

"HAAAA!"

With a roar, he threw himself forward, right fist blazing with the last spark of his faith, charging head-on into the Galaxian Explosion.

"BOOM—!!!"

Super God World.

Ge Xiaolun's eyes were filled with shock.

From that destructive green sphere, he felt something unmistakable.

Death.

Deep down, he knew that with his current level as the "Galactic Force," he couldn't block that attack. Not even close.

The energy was even more terrifying than the alien emperor Boros from the previous video. This wasn't just power. It was pure natural catastrophe.

He might boast about being the strongest in the Xiongbing Company, but in front of something like that, he couldn't guarantee he'd survive.

Beside him, the Sun Goddess Reina fell uncharacteristically silent. Even as a main god, at her current level, a universe-level detonation like that would seriously wound her—maybe even kill her.

Zhao Xin swallowed hard. The silence around them felt suffocating.

"My god… If that thing hits, that kid on the other side won't even have ashes left…"

"Is this what it means?"

A thunderous voice suddenly exploded behind them.

They spun around. Instructor Gaskin stood there, face stern and furious.

"You call yourselves warriors? You're so weak you can't even look at that kind of power without fear?"

"Everyone—extra training tonight. To your limits! You so-called 'super soldiers' are a joke!"

Groans and wails erupted from the Xiongbing Company.

Ever since the ranking videos of top-tier fighters across the multiverse began appearing, Gaskin had turned into a demon. Training was relentless.

"At this rate I'm gonna die in boot camp…" Zhao Xin muttered miserably. But no one dared disobey.

Dragon Ball Universe.

Frieza's face darkened like ink.

That Galaxian Explosion… for a split second, it made even him feel the threat of death.

For the self-proclaimed emperor of the universe, that was humiliation beyond words.

He—feared by an image of some unknown human from another dimension?

Unforgivable.

Meanwhile, aboard a small high-speed spaceship slicing through the stars, Vegeta hammered a reinforced gravity sandbag with savage force. Explosions cracked through the air.

His eyes were bloodshot.

He knew perfectly well—he couldn't take that attack head-on as he was now.

The realization drove him nearly insane. These monsters popping out from nowhere shattered his pride as a battle genius.

"If I can reach Super Saiyan…"

Cold light flickered in his eyes. The hunger for power burned hotter than ever.

On Earth, Goku scratched his head, deep in thought.

Could a full-power Kamehameha cancel out that Galaxian Explosion?

After careful consideration, he figured maybe—just maybe—there was a slim chance.

But if he truly wanted to defeat someone like Saga…

He might need to rely on the Spirit Bomb.

Naruto World.

Hiruzen Sarutobi tapped his desk rhythmically, eyes thoughtful.

Since witnessing Uchiha Madara's destructive power, followed by these otherworldly titans, one fact became obvious.

They all possessed monstrous physical bodies.

Endless stamina. Ridiculous durability.

It made him reconsider the importance of taijutsu within Konoha.

After all, Konoha had a monster of its own.

Might Guy.

And the Eight Gates.

When Guy opened the Sixth Gate, even Hiruzen had to fight seriously to win. And now… he was approaching the Seventh.

Could he one day witness the full release of the Eight Gates?

He hoped not.

Because that would mean war. Total destruction.

One Piece World.

At Marine Headquarters, Fleet Admiral Sengoku sat in rare silence.

Even in his golden Buddha form, he couldn't take that attack.

Garp didn't look surprised.

In the New World, aboard the Moby Dick, Edward Newgate—Whitebeard—watched intently.

Then he laughed.

That attack made even him feel a bone-deep brush with death.

"Interesting! Damn interesting!"

He rose to his feet, voice booming across the deck.

"That Saga's strong! But remember this—"

"I'm the strongest!!!"

His sons roared in response.

Whitebeard smiled faintly.

As long as he still stood, no one would harm them.

Because he was the strongest man in the world.

Back to the battlefield.

Seiya didn't retreat.

He drove his fist directly into the Galaxian Explosion.

The instant contact was made, his face drained of color.

The backlash was overwhelming. Alone, he couldn't stop it.

But he couldn't step back.

Behind him stood his friends.

And Athena.

As her Saint—he would never yield to fate.

"HAAAAAA!!!"

He gathered every last drop of Cosmo left in his body. His right arm began to tear apart. His Cloth disintegrated under the crushing energy.

"You think… I'm fighting alone?!"

At the brink of death, something shifted.

He was pulled into a realm beyond time.

Then—

A vast, endless flow of Cosmo surged into him, like divine blood flooding his veins. His shattered body began repairing at impossible speed.

"This power—?!"

Saga's pupils shrank.

He could clearly feel it.

A force beyond logic. A fusion of countless wills.

Golden light flashed across Seiya's arm.

In an instant, it formed into an intricate, mysterious golden array.

"....."
