The moment the door opened, the first thing that caught Riley Perry's eye was the other person's head of royal blue hair!
His skin was fair and his features were incredibly delicate. A pair of big, round puppy-dog eyes stared at her.
Although she could tell from the phone call that his voice was young, she really hadn't expected him to be *this* young. 'Is he even twenty?'
Jack of Spades was clearly just as surprised. The cigarette dangling from his lips fell right to the floor. Luckily, he hadn't lit it, so there was no fear of burning the carpet. "You're LE?"
Riley Perry blinked at him. "Do you know another LE? Or are you disappointed by how I look?"
Jack of Spades quickly denied it. "No, no! How could there be another LE?" 'This wasn't disappointment, it was a pleasant surprise!'
A soft chuckle sounded as two shallow dimples appeared on Riley Perry's face. "What, are you planning to have me stand here talking in the doorway?"
