The first major conflict arises. One of Leo's unwritten futures involved a deep, meaningful reconciliation with his estranged brother. Driven by the phantom emotion, Elara tracks the brother down and, in a confused state, reveals intimate details only Leo could know. The brother, thinking Leo sent a stalker, attacks him. The real future is altered, creating a new, darker path of anger and litigation. Elara learns a terrible lesson: trying to force an unwritten future into reality doesn't restore it; it corrupts the present. The stolen futures are ghosts, and they haunt poorly.
