A week had passed since the uraraka family moved into this small house in the northeast of the famous city of Gotham.
The week allowed the Japanese family to settle in and to probe their new environment. Gotham was a very dangerous city with crime and some of the villains considered to be the scariest and sadistic in the DC universe.....
But for the moment, it was not the time to focus on that...
The start of the school year was approaching and Ochaco had to go to one of the high schools in Gotham City. She was eager to discover the school in this city, make friends and especially start as Uravity.
Her parents were completely unaware of her powers and her desire to be a vigilante and that was good. It was not at all like my hero academia and you had to separate civilian life from heroine life and do activities in secret.
Thus, during the week , ochaco had been quietly training with zero gravity. She was hugely inspired by her counterpart from my hero academia.
She was an Quirk that was quite easy to master and very pleasant to handle, floating had become something very pleasant and combined with the martial arts of Gunhead in the series and some self-defense techniques learned on the internet, she felt complete.
The weight limit she could cancel was still 3 tons, however Ochaco discovered to her amazement that the nausea that followed after extreme use of her Quirk was absent. Another gift from the goddess...
She had also started writing songs that mixed Japanese and English in the very idol style that she always loved. She couldn't wait to sing them in the alleys and on the rooftops of Gotham.
"I'm going to create a version of STAR T RAIN and sign wa B! And also the song Idol by yaosobi! I can imagine singing too much like Ai or Ruby in my hero costume!" smiled Ochaco as she wrote in her music notebook as she lay on her bed.
Unfortunately, sleep finally caught up with her and she fell asleep, her notebook pressed against her.
Outside, a few meters from her home, police sirens blared as a group of dangerous brigands fled in a jeep. But they couldn't get very far because a man disguised as a bat intercepted them, easily neutralizing them. His dark suit inspired fear in criminals....

The next day, Ochaco was ready for school. Her parents took her with the family convertible, giving her advice along the way.
"Ochaco, I hope you're okay?" asked Mr. Uraraka as he got out of the car with his wife and daughter.
"Yes Dad! Don't worry, I can't wait to get started and make lots of friends!" smiled Ochaco as she raised her fist with determination, dressed in a school uniform that looked like UA's but the difference was that it was gray.
She took a picture in front of the school with her family and then entered the huge gray stone building.
Her parents watched her with love and pride before getting back in the car and driving away.
Ochaco took a deep breath before going in, as did the hundreds of students.
She followed the other students into the gigantic gymnasium where all the students were seated and divided according to their class.
The faculty and the principal were present and gave an encouraging speech for the new students, and then the rules of the high school and a list of clubs were given to each student.
Ochaco decided to join the music club and the cooking club because she loved to eat.
After that, the first class began for the second year students.
"First of all, I wish you an excellent academic career in our school. Among you, there is a new student who comes straight from the land of the rising sun, can you introduce yourself?" asked the teacher in charge of the class with a serene smile.
"Yes!" smiled a young brunette girl, with a round face and cute, red cheeks. She smiles, her expression luminous and filled with great sweetness.
"My name is Ochaco Uraraka! I'm new and I hope we can be friends and get along!" said Ochaco in a cheerful voice as she raised her fist.
The students watched her with amused smiles for some and nervous for others, the light of her smile contrasted too much with the darkness and coldness of this city.
The teacher nodded and the class began. Ochaco was focused on the lesson as a girl with tousled black hair watched her with a small smile.
"Interesting..." she said jubilantly.

An hour later, Ochaco was eating her meal in the high school dining hall. She observed with interest the students who were talking to each other or not, the sunny, the introverts, the show-offs... All categories of students combined.
She then felt a pat on the shoulder and turned around to see a student her age with short, tousled black hair and a more masculine uniform.
"Hi Ochaco Uraraka! I can call you ochaco, huh?" the young woman asked with a smile filled with teasing joy.
"uh..." Ochaco began when the young woman sat down in front of her and stole her fries.
"I'm Alexa Prexton! Nice to meet you!" smiles Alexa with spontaneity and energy.
"Nice to meet you, Alexa..." Ochaco smiled softly.
Suddenly, two more girls arrived at their table and Alexa greeted them with joy.
"ochaco, let me introduce you to my two friends: Michelle and Lola!" smiled Alexa.
Michelle was a young woman with blue dyed hair and a big excited smile and Lola, a shorter joung woman with long black hair, calmer with a quiet smile.
"Hi Ochaco! I'm Michelle Moore but they call me mimi! You're very cute, what city did you live in in Japan? What's your favorite dish? Are there any superheroes there? What are those pads behind your fingers?" asked Michelle, staring at ochaco with her blue eyes.
"calm down Michelle, you scare her and you know it..." Lola said bluntly.
"Sorry Lola!" Michelle apologized with a sheepish smile.
Lola sighed and sat quietly.
"I'm Lola Aguilera, I hope these two don't intrude on your personal space" said Lola with a calm smile.
Ochaco shook her head with a smile and a blush.
She looked at the three girls with a mixture of amusement and astonishment. They curiously had the same personalities as her favorite female characters from my hero academia behind ochaco uraraka: Nejire Hado, Mina Ashido, and Tsuyu Asui.
It was certainly not a coincidence... It was surely another gift from the goddess not to feel isolated in this foreign universe.
"You'll see Ochaco, you'll get used to Gotham, it's a very special city but we end up not really being afraid anymore!" laughed Alexa.
"Batman always protects us from the bad guys!" Michelle smiled softly.
"We'll help you integrate here, you seem really nice, you're part of the group now" said Lola with a serene smile.
Ochaco blushed with pleasure and nodded with a bright and adorable smile.
"Thank you girls! I am sure that we will become very good friends!"
Alexa hopped and hugged ochaco with a blissful smile.
"You're so cute Ocha!!" She screamed, drawing the eyes of the other students to their table.
Michelle burst out laughing and Lola shook her head with an exasperated but tender smile.
Ochaco laughed, she felt good in this group of different but close-knit girls.
The bell rang and the four friends went to class together, chatting and laughing.
The school year seemed to have already started under good conditions...
