Chapter 20
JAY'S POV
Yajna and I were setting up our tent. Beside us Keifer was setting up his tent with Keiren. Aries was sharing with Keigan. As you know it is two schools mixed so our school teachers can't be unfair to us they have to treat us equally. Yajna and me were very excited. First we have ice breaking session as a group activity we have to introduce ourselves. After setting up our tent we sat in a circle and started introducing ourselves.
Keifer " Hello! I am Mark Keifer Watson president of Section e"
Aries "Hello! I am Michael Aries Fernandez president of Section A"
Keiren "Hello! I am Mike Keiren Watson, I broke a tooth yesterday "(Awww so cute)
Yajna "Hello! I am Yajnaseni Maitra. Pronounced as Yaj-nya-say-nee or you can call me Yajna.
Elixira " what does it even mean never heard it" (in a weird tone)
Yajna " it means a person born out of sacrificial fire"
Elixira (makes a weird face which i don't like at all)" oh okk nice"
Jay " Hello!I am Jasper Jean Purple Fernandez Mariano you can call me JayJay"
Elixira " such a long name. Hello! My name is Elixira Fediricos short and simple"(is she taunting us)
Blaster " Hello! I am Blaster Wren Madrigal"
Keigan " I am Mir Keigan Watson , junior school head"
Like that other people also introduced themselves . Then we were called for lunch. Keifer was sitting infront of me. Most of our school teachers were looking unhappy that they have to treat us fairly. And here Alvin sir was eating with us.
Alvin Sir " so guys are you all settled down" (trying to make a conversation)
Everyone "yes, sir"
Alvin sir " good i hope there are no fights in the camp he said it looking at us, his own students and mostly it was Aries and Keifer."(feeling betrayed sir)
Alvin Sir " and you have to select a leader amongst yourself through a game it would be better and fair and a no voilent way (he said it referring to section e 's way of selecting a predident) and tomorrow morning we will be going for trekking"
Uff this game for leadership will be nerve wrecking I just hope someone else wins it other than Aries or Keifer. It would be problematic if either of them wins. We had our lunch and we returned to our campsite and we were deciding a game to decide leadership.
After some arguments it was decided that we will do racing. It will not be just a normal straight racing but a zig zag with obstacles. Everyone was very excited. At a time five people were racing together at a time so four groups were formed . And at last winner of every group would race. Alvin Sir is our referee. I think he was enjoying all of this more than us. First groups winner was Aries second groups winner was Yajnaseni, third groups winner was Keifer, fourth group's winner was me and fifth group's winner was Keigan. At last we were competing with each other. And the winner was Keigan.
In the evening everyone sat around together and we were told to do nature painting like painting on rocks. Yajna and me were finding good rocks to paint on. Then Keifer found me a pretty rock. Yajna teased me saying it felt like a penguins trying to court/woo female by giving her a rock ,that made me blush. And it made Aries glare at us. Keiren was enjoying all the activities more than any of us. . It was an activity to make us relax but it was making me tired. Yajna was making mandala art on her rock. Which was looking very pretty. And Keigan was staring at Yajna.
Jay " what happen Keigan why are you staring at at Yajna like that"(that made Yajna look up)
Keigan " she sat quietly for mare than 5 minutes . It is next to impossible. Did something happen"
Elixira was staring at both Yajna and Keigan angrily. I don't know what her deal is why is she so angry. When she already broke up with Keigan. Keifer told me everything. Then I saw Keifer looking at what I was looking at and then we looked at each other. I think we have the same thought process.
