A space–time passage suddenly tore open in midair.One after another, more than two hundred people stepped out.
They were the members of the Uchiha clan, who had just migrated into the New World.
For a moment, everyone was confused.
Blue sky.White clouds.Flowers, grass, towering trees—
Everything looked exactly like the world they had come from.
Yet there was one unmistakable difference.
It was daytime.
When they had stepped through the passage, Konoha had still been wrapped in darkness.Unless they had crossed to the opposite side of the planet, this made no sense.
A space–time transfer across half the world was far too unrealistic.
Uchiha Fugaku-sama frowned slightly and asked,
"Yusuke, where is this place?"
Yusuke shook his head.
"I don't know. Each transfer point is random. This world is vast, and the information I possess only covers a very small part of it."
Fugaku-sama nodded once, then gave an order.
"Itachi-kun, scout the area. The rest of you, stay alert and hold position."
Having just arrived in an unfamiliar world, caution was essential.
"Yes."
Whoosh.
Uchiha Itachi-kun vanished in an instant.
Not long after, he returned.
"Well?" Fugaku-sama asked.
"This is an island," Itachi-kun reported calmly."There's a village at its center. It resembles Konoha in structure, but it's… strange."
"How so?"
"All of the villagers are women."
"…All women? No men?"
"At least, I didn't see any. There are massive statues in the center of the island—snake-like monsters. The mountain behind them is engraved with two large characters: 'Nine Snakes.'"
"…Snakes."
Fugaku-sama's expression darkened slightly.The mention of snakes immediately reminded him of Orochimaru.
"I know where this is."
Yusuke sighed, rubbing his temples.Out of all the places they could have been sent…
"What is it, Yusuke-niisan?" Shisui-kun asked, noticing his expression."Is this place dangerous?"
Yusuke nodded.
"Troublesome would be an understatement. This is Amazon Lily, also known as Nine Snakes Island. It lies within the Calm Belt."
"The Calm Belt is infested with Sea Kings—giant monsters that live in the sea."
"In terms of sheer size, even the smallest adult Sea King is larger than the Nine-Tails."
"So big?!"
The Uchiha clan was shaken.
Five years ago, the Nine-Tails had attacked Konoha.Everyone here—except newborns—had seen its terrifying scale.
"The Sea Kings themselves aren't the biggest problem," Yusuke continued calmly."They're large but still just animals. Compared to the Nine-Tails, they're weaker."
"The real issue is this island."
"Although it looks like a village, it's actually a nation—Amazon Lily, also called the Daughter Country."
"All its citizens are warriors. To them, strength is beauty. Every woman here is a soldier."
"And most importantly…"
Yusuke paused.
"This country is extremely exclusionary."
"Women are fine—but men are strictly forbidden from entering."
The men of the Uchiha clan exchanged uneasy looks.
"…Then how does a country like this survive?" someone muttered.
Yusuke smiled faintly.
"When women of age set out to sea, they return pregnant. Every child born on this island is female."
"..."
Silence followed.
The atmosphere only grew more surreal.
"Then… should we leave immediately?" someone asked.
A nation where every citizen was a warrior.
The Uchiha clan numbered just over three hundred.Once the elderly, women, and children were excluded, only about a hundred could fight.
A direct confrontation would be unwise.
"No," Yusuke said immediately."This is the Calm Belt. Without a special ship, leaving means risking an attack by Sea Kings."
"Then what do we do?"
"Since we're already here, we try to make peace.If possible, I'd rather avoid conflict."
Suddenly—
Whoosh!
An arrow struck the ground at Yusuke's feet.
The Uchiha instantly prepared for battle.
Yusuke raised his hand.
"Hold."
From the surrounding forest, dozens of women emerged, surrounding the clan.
They wore minimal outfits made of animal skins, wielding snake-shaped bows, arrows trained on the intruders. Their eyes were filled with vigilance.
A tall, striking woman with a high black ponytail stepped forward and shouted,
"Who are you?! Why have you invaded Amazon Lily?!"
"Please calm down," Yusuke replied evenly."We arrived here by accident. Surely you don't consider people traveling with elders and children to be invaders?"
The woman—Kikyo—hesitated briefly, scanning the group.There were indeed elderly and children among them.
Still, she did not lower her guard.
"This is Amazon Lily. Outsiders are not welcome."
"We mean no harm," Yusuke said."We only ask for temporary assistance."
At that moment, a short elderly woman stepped forward.
The instant she saw Yusuke and the others, her eyes widened in shock.
"Oh my heavens—!!Is that a… a man?!"
"Why—?!!"
The Amazon warriors gasped.
"A man…?"
"This is the first time I've ever seen one…"
They stared at the men as if they were mythical beasts.
In Amazon Lily, men were legends.
The men of the Uchiha clan could only stand there in silence.
What's so strange about men…?
Kikyo's expression changed drastically.
"There are actually men here—and so many of them?!This is a disaster! Prepare to attack!!"
Bows were raised once more.
Though curious, they were warriors first.According to Amazon Lily's teachings, men were inherently greedy creatures.
Yusuke immediately raised his hand.
"Wait!"
"I told you—we came here by mistake. We have no intention of causing conflict."
"I don't believe you!" Kikyo snapped."This is Amazon Lily—the Female Empire!'No men may enter' has been our law for hundreds of years!There has never been an exception!"
Yusuke sighed, scratching his head.
"So even after crossing worlds… I still can't avoid trouble."
"I really don't like fighting."
"Fire!!"
At Kikyo's command, a storm of arrows flew toward the clan.
"Earth Style: Earth Wall!"
Before the arrows could reach them, massive earth walls erupted from the ground, completely surrounding the Uchiha.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Arrows shattered against the walls, leaving shallow craters but failing to break through.
"What—what is this?!" the Amazon warriors cried.
Whoosh!
Figures leapt over the walls.
"Fire again!!"
Arrows were loosed—but none hit their targets.
In the blink of an eye, Uchiha shinobi were among them.
"These are intruders! Kill them!" Kikyo shouted.
Suddenly, a cold voice whispered behind her.
"You'd better not move."
A blade rested against her neck.
"When…?!"
She hadn't seen the movement at all.
Looking around, she realized nearly all her warriors had been subdued.
Even the elderly woman—Granny Nyon—had a blade resting lightly on her shoulder.
Granny Nyon's face grew solemn.
These people were monsters.
Especially the young man who spoke calmly—Yusuke—he felt capable of slaughtering everyone here in an instant.
"Who… are you?" Granny Nyon asked.
Yusuke smiled gently.
"Please don't misunderstand.We are the Uchiha clan—a hidden family. We harbor no hostility."
"Our arrival was accidental. This migration has left us stranded."
"You understand the danger of the Calm Belt.If our people are to leave safely, we'll need assistance."
Granny Nyon thought for a long moment.
"…This decision is beyond me," she said finally."Only Hancock-sama may decide such matters."
"Then we'll wait," Yusuke replied."We're happy to negotiate once she returns."
Weapons were withdrawn.
The tension eased—though uneasily.
"Our people are exhausted," Yusuke added, producing a gold bar and offering it respectfully."We would appreciate a place to eat and rest."
Granny Nyon accepted it.
"Very well. We'll allow you into the city—for now."
As the Uchiha regrouped, Kikyo whispered urgently,
"Granny Nyon-sama, how can you allow this?! So many men—"
Cold sweat ran down the old woman's face.
"What choice do we have?" she replied quietly."Did you see their eyes when they withdrew their weapons?"
"They weren't afraid. Not even the children."
"They weren't asking for permission.They were informing us."
"…Hancock-sama will return in a few days," Granny Nyon continued grimly."Until then, our duty is simple."
"Keep them calm."
