A door opens to a room and a light turns on. Eight captives all sit restrained to chairs and one by one the hoods are removed to unveil four men and four women. Mark stands before them, shirtless, all in a circle. He has brought these eight individuals for a ritual - a sacrifice.
Mark Nelson: No need to be frightened. I'm only here to claim your soul is all.
He laughs with evil and sinister behind it as the victims struggle to free themselves to no avail. Mark beings to taunt and torture his victims, knowing he is far more powerful and can do whatever he wants to them. A song plays on the speakers, and he begins to dance rather creepy and scary to further fuel the fear, which he feeds off of more than anything to make easier to claim their souls. In an instant, he claims one soul then a second and a third almost like a drug. Groaning softly, he exhales deeply as his eyes turn black as night until two of his men are hurled through the bulletproof glass. Switchblade appears before him, armed with his two katanas, preparing for a fight. Mark smiles, believing this to be a joke of some sorts and stands to his feet. Leaping over the remaining captives, Switchblade throws a roundhouse kick and begins swinging his swords, but Mark is able to dodge them, laughing the entire time until he knocks the weapons away, grabs Switchblade and throws him across the room. Jumping to his feet, Mark motions for him to bring it and he does so, using martial arts combos with some landing and some missing until he lands a hard roundhouse to Mark's chest that sends him to the floor. Clapping and whooping, he jumps to his feet and delivers a hard punch that knocks Switchblade into the wall at full force. Mark punches him several times in the face, in the gut then throws him into the captives, knocking them all to the ground. Hurt, but not enough to keep him down, Switchblade throws an item at him that Mark catches and upon being activated, it sends a shockwave through him and Switchblade starts to use more combo strikes that causes Mark to bleed and once the device wears off, he delivers a hard uppercut. Taking him by the foot, he throws Switchblade through another window that sends him two stories to the ground below. Landing over him, he grabs the masked man and begins pummeling him, yanks his mask off and continues the assault, lifts him off the ground above his head and brings him down over his knee, breaking his back. Yelling and groaning in pain, Mark laughs more as he wipes the blood from his lip and licks it.
Mark Nelson: You really thought you were just going to march in here and try to destroy me? In my home? Either you are bold or just plain stupid. I know who you are, yes, I do, Switchblade. I had hoped you would put up a better fight, but I guess Damian didn't teach you everything, now did he.
Switchblade remains laying there, unable to move and groans loudly in pain. Mark kneels down to look at him and can see the failure in his eyes, making him smile some more. All of this feels like a big joke as nobody in the city can challenge him, nobody. An arrow is shot through the window that impales him in the shoulder and Lloyd Price appears in his Archer suit.
Mark Nelson: This just keeps getting better.
He yanks the arrow out, tosses it down and goes to punch him, but Lloyd ducks down and uses his bow as a weapon that he quickly turns into a stick and begins to block and hit Mark with while displaying his own set of martial arts. Once he is able to outsmart the man, Lloyd delivers a kick to him then a kick to his face that knocks him to the ground. Standing to his feet, an arrow is pointed right at him just barely missing his eye. Mark looks at the arrow, crossing his eyes then looks to Lloyd, already armed with another arrow and prepares to fire it, daring Mark to make a move.
Lloyd Price: Please, make a move.
Mark smiles again as he puts his hands up and begins to back away towards the door while Lloyd keeps the arrow aimed at him in case he tries to make a sudden move. Opening the door, Mark slips through and disappears as Lloyd kneels down to check on Switchblade. Police arrive at the casino to get the remaining victims to safey while Lloyd and Switchblade have already disappeared before they arrived. Instead, Lloyd is driving him to get medical help at the nearest hospital, but a sudden car is rammed into his at full force. The passenger door is yanked open and two masked men grab Switchblade as Lloyd, badly injured, gets out to try and stop them, but is not quick enough as the men put his friend into a waiting car and drive away.
