Chapter 1 - Chapter 1:The Cursed Rebirths

Do you know there are many unlucky

people in the world?

But not like me.

My name is Raina.

In my first life, I was on my way to school when a car hit me. I died.

I thought that was the end.

But I was reborn in another world—as a thief. I survived for a few months, stealing to live… until one day, a police officer shot me. I died again.

The fourth life, I was reborn as an elf and died in a war against vampires.

The fifth, I was reborn as a vampire and died in another war.

At that point, I was tired.

I screamed at God.

"Please… this time, reborn me as a girl.

I was a girl in my first life, yet you always reborn me as a man.

Make me a normal human princess—someone who doesn't die again."

Darkness came.

When I opened my eyes again, my body felt cold.

Stone walls. Iron bars.

"A cell…?" I whispered.

Do you really hate me that much?

But I made a promise to myself.

I will survive this fifth life.

All the skills from my past lives were still with me.

My thief skills especially.

I opened the cell and ran.

In front of me was a mirror.

I was wearing a hood and a mask. Slowly, I removed them.

Long hair fell down.

A girl's face.

I started crying.

"I'm… a girl…"

After so many years trapped in male bodies, I was finally myself again.

Footsteps suddenly echoed.

Fear hit me hard.

They're coming to catch me again.

I remembered a spell—Transportation Magic.

It lets me go anywhere… but only if I've seen the place before.

The last time I used it, I accidentally appeared in a king's chamber.

I prayed.

"Please… don't send me somewhere dangerous."

I cast the spell.

When I opened my eyes, I froze.

A huge hall.

Demons. Monsters.

And I was sitting on a throne, like a queen.

In front of me stood a man with crimson eyes and overwhelming presence.

I recognized him instantly.

The Demon King.

The one who started the wars.

The one because of whom I died again and again.

My hands trembled.

But something was strange.

He wasn't cruel like I imagined.

He was cheerful, short-tempered, and terrifying—but not evil.

Instead of killing me, he laughed.

"You really have bad luck, human girl."

I didn't stay as a prisoner.

I stayed alive by becoming a servant in the Demon Castle.

Days passed.

I cleaned halls, carried books, avoided trouble.

The Demon King—King Azrath Noctyra—never harmed me.

One day, a messenger from the Human Kingdom of Aurelion arrived.

The kingdom I was originally from.

The messenger's eyes widened when he saw me.

"That face…" he whispered.

He fell to his knees.

"Your Majesty… this is Princess Seraphina Aurelion."

My heart stopped.

Princess…?

King Azrath turned toward me slowly.

At that moment, everything changed.
