Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: The Great Tomb of Nazarick

Inside the valley.

With the heroic sacrifice of the Bicorn Lord, the magic circle began to glow with a blood-red light.

Base arrays unfolded layer by layer, and brilliant magical imprints were etched in the air, forming magnificent patterns.

"It's finally coming."

Watching this scene, Shiraori clenched her fists in excitement.

Susu stood by the side with her big, sparkling eyes wide, full of anticipation.

Only Albedo was stroking the crystal ring on her ring finger with a look of pure bliss.

She didn't care about the sacrifice of her mount at all.

"Rumble!"

With a loud bang, a powerful and terrifying aura erupted from the magic circle.

The ground within the valley shook, and rocks flew everywhere.

The violent air currents made the trio's clothes flutter loudly.

The massive commotion lasted for a full quarter of an hour.

When the light faded, a massive tomb entrance appeared in the center of the valley.

The entrance was surrounded by stone pillars in a circle, guarding it in the center.

Intricate and complex patterns were carved onto the stone pillars, giving the whole structure an ancient and elegant look.

[Ding! Guild Territory activated, Guild Module opened!]

[Please name the Guild]

A virtual light screen automatically appeared before Draco's eyes.

"Guild name?" Draco pondered slightly.

As someone terrible at naming things, Draco didn't hesitate and directly typed in Ainz Ooal Gown.

[Ding! Guild: Ainz Ooal Gown, officially established.]

[Guild Base: Great Tomb of Nazarick!]

With things successfully concluded, Draco woke Albedo from her daydream.

Then the three of them walked toward the tomb entrance... it was much as Draco had expected.

The first three floors of Nazarick were just ordinary tomb environments.

It was an incredibly vast tomb.

At this moment, the first three floors were empty and very spacious.

The Death-Wax Chamber where Shalltear should have lived, and the Black Capsule area overseen by The Death—none of these were there.

The three continued toward the fourth floor.

The Fourth Floor was a massive underground lake, but otherwise, it was also empty.

The Fifth Floor was a glacial world covered in ice that could deal continuous freezing damage to intruders; the Great Tomb's prison was located on this floor.

The world of ice and snow froze Draco quite a bit.

The Sixth Floor was a vast forest with a realistic artificial sky, and outside the forest was a massive circular coliseum.

This floor should have had a large number of monsters, but it was currently empty.

The Seventh Floor was a lava world, covered in a vast amount of lava that could deal continuous fire damage to intruders.

The Eighth Floor was a wasteland; the beautiful Sakura Sanctuary did not exist. It seemed he would need to rebuild it himself.

The Ninth Floor was the Royal Suite that Draco looked forward to the most. It was a non-combat zone with facilities equivalent to a five-star hotel, including various leisure and entertainment venues. This was where the supreme beings and their servants resided.

However, when Draco walked in, he found no such Royal Suite.

It was practically bare walls. Aside from a few dim oil lamps, there was nothing.

The final floor, the Tenth Floor: the Throne Room.

This was the only place that could comfort Draco's wounded heart.

Inside a solemn hall, at the top, sat an exquisite throne.

It was almost exactly as Draco had imagined.

So, aside from the Throne Room being fully summoned, not a single one of the other buildings had come along.

Draco dropped onto the throne and heaved a long sigh.

"Argh, we're broke!"

The guild was still in ruins; they lacked everything.

"Master, where are we?"

Susu had been staring at these strange pocket worlds the whole way, and her curiosity finally burst out.

"From now on, this is our home."

"Wow, our place is huge!"

Great—Susu had just handed Draco another headache.

Nazarick was simply too vast. It existed in an isolated dimension; apart from the guild-exclusive spatial rings,

no one could teleport here with Space Magic.

Draco felt his brain throbbing.

"Master, why not summon Sebas and the Pleiades?"

"With them around, most of your worries would disappear."

As Nazarick's chief overseer, Albedo excelled at management.

If she could call in every assistant she needed, it would save Draco plenty of trouble.

Especially the two administrative geniuses, Sebas and Eclair.

But the Designated Summoning had a one-month cooldown, which made Draco anxious.

"No rushing this; I'll think of something."

Albedo nodded. "Understood."

"I'll bring the summoned creatures inside; you two find somewhere to rest."

After a few instructions, Draco teleported out of Nazarick.

When he successfully founded the guild moments ago, the system had gifted him a guild ring.

It let him teleport anytime, anywhere.

Unfortunately, only one existed—and it was soul-bound.

Hence, some chores had to be done personally.

Under Draco's lead, a mighty horde of seventy- to eighty-thousand summons marched into the First Floor of the Great Tomb.

They would serve as gate guards.

Since ordinary monsters had turned into undead and zombies, Draco didn't need to worry about feeding them.

While he was busy settling the summons,

somewhere else—

the Frozen Continent, inside the White Ice Palace.

A striking man with flaming-red hair frowned at the report in his hand.

"The Kingdom of Falmuth… an Otherworlder slew the curse-bearer, caused a flood, robbed the royal treasury…"

The man was Primordial Red, one of the oldest Demon Lords—Cranel Zalor.

As the world's mediator, he handled mountains of paperwork every day.

Unlike the other two unreliable Demon Lords—one off playing, one a shut-in—

Chii read the document carefully and muttered to himself,

"Cases of Otherworlders turning the tables exist, but never this brazen."

Behind him stood a blue-haired maid—Primordial Blue, Rein—who asked,

"Shall we intervene?"

Chii waved a hand lazily. "Barely any deaths—let them be."

"Still, twenty-some unbound Otherworlders have appeared; keep an eye on their movements."

"If things spiral out of control, we'll step in then."

"As you command!"
