Chapter 74 - sulky fiance

For the past few days, something very unusual was happening in the Watson mansion.

Serina and Keizer were stealing Jay.

Completely.

In the morning, Serina would drag her into the kitchen.

In the afternoon, Keizer would take her to the study.

In the evening, both of them somehow managed to keep her beside them.

Keifer… was barely getting her.

Right now, Jay was sitting between Serina and Keizer on the sofa.

Serina was showing her some old family photos.

"And this was Keifer when he was five," Serina laughed.

Jay covered her mouth.

"He was so tiny!"

Keizer proudly added,

"And very stubborn. Just like now."

From the other side of the living room…

Keifer stared.

Hard.

Arms crossed.

Leg stretched.

Face completely unreadable.

Jay looked up and caught his expression.

She blinked.

Then smiled.

Keifer immediately looked away.

Sulking.

Jay stood up a few minutes later.

Before she could even take two steps—

Keifer walked straight to her and gently pulled her by the wrist.

"Excuse me," he said politely to his parents.

"I need my fiancée for a minute."

Serina burst out laughing.

Keizer raised a brow.

"Your fiancée is also our daughter."

Jay froze for a second.

Then melted.

Keifer narrowed his eyes.

"…Exactly my problem."

Jay laughed softly and leaned closer to him.

"What happened?" she whispered.

"You're busy with them," he replied quietly.

"All day."

Jay tilted her head.

"Aww… are you jealous?"

He didn't deny it.

He just tightened his fingers around hers.

"A little."

She lifted herself slightly and kissed his cheek.

Keifer's sulking face broke immediately.

Serina watched the scene and shook her head.

"Look at him," she said to Keizer.

"He can't even survive one day without her."

Keizer chuckled.

"Our son is completely spoiled."

Keifer heard that.

He turned back calmly.

"You raised me like this."

Jay laughed, still holding his hand.

And for the first time in a while—

Keifer finally had her back.

Keifer didn't pull Jay away this time.

Instead…

He walked back to the sofa.

Very slowly.

Very seriously.

Serina was still flipping through the album with Jay and Keizer was pointing at one photo.

"And this was our first family trip abroad—"

Before he could finish—

Keifer quietly sat down.

Right beside Jay.

No words.

No drama.

Just… inserted himself into the scene.

Jay blinked.

Serina blinked.

Keizer stopped mid–sentence.

Keifer gently slipped his hand around Jay's arm and rested his head on her shoulder.

Comfortably.

Like this was exactly where he belonged.

Jay smiled immediately and tilted her head so it touched his.

Serina burst into laughter.

"Oh God… look at him."

Keizer chuckled.

"He really can't stay away, can he?"

Keifer replied calmly,

"I changed my mind."

Serina raised an eyebrow.

"About what?"

He looked straight ahead.

"I'm joining."

Jay laughed softly.

"You were sulking a minute ago."

He whispered only for her,

"I upgraded."

She smiled wider and squeezed his hand.

Keizer shook his head, amused.

"So now you're officially part of our Jay time?"

Keifer nodded seriously.

"Yes."

Serina patted his arm.

"Fine. Sit properly then."

He adjusted himself, still holding Jay, and leaned a little closer.

Completely unbothered.

Completely clingy.

Completely happy.

Jay glanced at him and whispered,

"You're impossible."

He replied without hesitation,

"But I'm yours."

And just like that—

Keifer didn't steal Jay back.

He simply chose to belong with her…

right there, between Mama and Papa.
