Chapter 3 - The Lotus and The Tri-Eyed Tyrant

Somewhere in the Central Sanctuary where Bloodbound lives.

An anomaly appeared. Leaves stopped dancing, nature stopped singing. The

atmosphere went still. Nothing but fear.

"Yes, it's him. The 'Tri-Eye Tyrant' Xuang Yu Kong."

Someone whispered the name of a godlike person whom the living both hated and respected.

"You know him very well, right?"

"No one knows him better than I do."

"Why is he known as Tri-Eye Tyrant?" someone asked.

"Even history itself kneeled before him, just to make him a part of history."

The history cherished in the beauty of an Absolute Terror.

"The Mercy is born from our sin." A silence followed.

"But he's born from the corruption of Sin."

The air felt tight. The sky went black. The forgotten flowers came back to life.

"I saw him, at Fenghua City. He was always cold, his eyes burning. I can't state the difference between him and the Sun."

" But I remained calm, in a distance. The Dominion was too heavy. He knows me as the leader of Bloodbound." Yu Zheng said.

Even the sun would melt in Yu Zheng's presence.

Yu Zheng said, "The world shouldn't rest until Xuang acclaims his ultimate goal," looking up at the sky.

"His ultimate goal will lead to the downfall of Heaven and Hell."

Back in Forsworn Citadel:

In the absence of the Tyrant.

"Hahahaha," the crowd laughed.

"The old geezer never learns," someone muttered.

"Why are you laughing?" another asked.

"Because I have a mouth…" A pause.

People tried to swallow their emotions.

"Do you know who I am?"

"Human…?"

"HAHAHAHAHA!"

The laughter erupted like a volcano, unstoppable.

"Shut up… let me prove my talent," one thought, grinning.

"You know how to flirt with women?" Another smirked. "You don't, because why would a woman flirt with herself?"

"HAHAHAHAHA!"

The crowd cheered even louder, like the Sun would never rise again.

Somewhere in Shanxi Fortress:

"I've always dreamed… the day he accepts the fate that we're meant to be together, he'll bow to me and kiss my hand… awwww," Mei Lian said.

The Lotus that blooms one day and never sheds, hoping that day will become memories of the beautiful lake, with the tears of it.

Always kind, the kindness of the Lotus hopes to mirror the breath of Xuang Yu Kong's.

"Perhaps he'll understand it soon," her friend said.

"But perhaps he already fell in my lake… then it's my time to bloom with the lullabies of nature." Mei Lian said.

Back in Forsworn Citadel:

"Your pride is what makes you a man. Never swallow your pride. Never bow, never bend, and never kneel." Xuang Yu gave training to children.

After practice:

"Perhaps one day I'll be your rival," a child said.

"But the world doesn't stand for two. It only chooses one." A pause.

"The strongest."

Xuang Yu walks in.

"The strongest will be meaningless if you let your name fade," Xuang Yu said.

The children were proud of their idol.

"Hey, you wanna know something?" one child asked Xuang Yu.

"Yeah, what?"

"I've been selected for Class D."

"Class D this early?" A pause. "Listen, class doesn't matter if you have the mindset of never giving up," Xuang Yu said.

"We're rivals. We'll reach our very potential, even across seven seas."

Xuang Yu smirked and walked away.

The potential you have might surpass anyone, Xuang Yu whispered in his mind.

Yuan Shi walked in.

"You have a visitor, Xuang…" Yuan Shi said.

"Let them in," Xuang Yu said.

Footsteps of walking beauty entered.

"Hello Xuang. Long time no see."

Xuang Yu remained still.

"Oh my my… long time no see…"

Mei Lian chuckled. Her skin was like the seed of a peach, starting to grow all along her face.
