Chapter 15 - Chapter 14 welcome to London

Jay's POV (Arrival in London)

After almost six hours in the air, the gentle announcement from the pilot woke me up completely.

We had arrived.

As soon as we stepped out of the jet, a cool London breeze brushed against my skin. I shivered slightly, instinctively moving closer to Keifer.

"Cold?" he asked immediately, noticing.

Before I could answer, he slipped his coat around my shoulders, pulling me closer to him.

"Welcome to London, Jay," he said softly, a small smile on his lips.

I looked around in awe. The night lights, the calm air, the unfamiliar yet beautiful atmosphere—everything felt surreal.

"I can't believe I'm actually here," I whispered. "London…"

He chuckled. "And this is just the beginning."

Keifer's Mansion

The drive to his mansion was quiet and peaceful. I watched the city pass by through the window, my heart still racing with excitement.

When the car finally stopped, my breath caught.

The mansion was massive—elegant, luxurious, and glowing softly under the lights. It felt straight out of a dream.

"Keifer…" I murmured, stepping out of the car. "This place is huge."

He smiled, clearly amused by my reaction.

"You'll get used to it," he said casually. "Come on."

Inside, everything was grand yet warm. High ceilings, soft lights, and a calm silence that made the place feel peaceful rather than intimidating.

Settling In

He led me upstairs to our room. The moment I stepped inside, I froze.

The room was spacious, cozy, and beautifully designed. The windows overlooked the city, curtains gently swaying with the breeze. My luggage was already there, neatly placed.

"This will be your room," he said gently, watching my reaction. "Our room… while we're here."

I turned to him, my heart full. "Keifer… it's perfect."

He smiled softly, stepping closer.

"Get some rest, Jay. It's been a long journey. Tomorrow, London can wait—tonight, just relax."

I nodded, smiling back at him, feeling safe, warm, and unbelievably lucky.

As I sat on the bed, listening to the distant sounds of the city, one thought stayed with me—

This trip… this place… and him—everything felt like the start of something unforgettable.Jay's POV

Morning sunlight slowly slipped through the curtains, painting the room in soft gold. The cold air of London made me curl closer to the warmth beside me.

Keifer.

We were still cuddled together, his arm wrapped securely around my waist, my face tucked against his chest. His heartbeat was calm—steady—and for a moment, I forgot we were in a different country, a different world.

He stirred before I did.

I felt him shift slightly, brushing a strand of hair away from my face.

"Good morning, sleepyhead," he whispered, his voice deep and gentle.

I smiled without opening my eyes. "Morning…"

He pressed a light kiss on my forehead, lingering just a second longer than needed.

"Come with me today," he said softly. "To my company."

I opened my eyes immediately. "Watson Enterprises?"

He nodded. "I want you there. By my side."

My heart skipped. "Are you sure?"

He smiled, confident yet warm.

"Always."

Getting Ready

We got up and started getting ready together. The room buzzed with a quiet excitement.

When we finally stepped out, I paused.

We were wearing matching outfits—subtle but perfectly coordinated. Clean lines, elegant colors, powerful yet refined. Standing beside him, I felt like I belonged there… with him.

He looked at me, eyes soft but proud.

"You look beautiful," he said.

I smiled. "You don't look too bad yourself, Mr. CEO."

He chuckled. "Wait till they see you walk in with me."

Watson Enterprises

The car ride to Watson Enterprises was smooth. The towering glass building came into view, reflecting the London sky.

I swallowed nervously.

Keifer noticed immediately and reached for my hand.

"Relax," he said. "This place exists because of responsibility. Not fear."

He squeezed my hand gently.

"And today… you're my strength."

As we stepped out of the car together, the cold breeze returned—but this time, I didn't feel cold at all.

Walking beside him into Watson Enterprises, I realized something—

This wasn't just his world anymore.

It was slowly becoming ours.
