✨Age 8 - The Year of Discoveries
Second grade was full of tiny chaos.
Jay Jay became the top student of their class, loved by teachers for her kindness.
Aries became the self-appointed bodyguard. He glared at anyone who tried to make Jay cry.
Percy became the class clown. He could imitate the principal's voice so perfectly that even teachers laughed.
Yuri became the smart competitor. If Jay got a perfect score, he wanted one too.
Keifer... Well, Keifer became the legend of detention.
"Why are you here again?" the teacher asked.
Keifer shrugged. "The chalk broke. It wasn't my fault."
"It broke because you throw it at Yuri."
"But his FACE-!"
"No excuses!"
But something changed in Keifer: Whenever Jay Jay scolded him, he actually listened.
"Keif, no fighting today, okay?"
"Okay... but only because you said so."

🌙Age 9 - The Sleepover Incident
Tita Gema let the whole group have their first ever sleepover.
Big mistake?
Probably.
Percy arrived with too many snacks.
Yuri brought board games.
Aries brought pillows.
Keifer brought... nothing.
"I am the entertainment," he declared.
They built forts, played tag in the living room, and told ghost stories.
Jay Jay hid under a blanket. "Stop! I'll get nightmares!"
Keifer threw a pillow at the storyteller, Percy. "Don't scare her, idiot!"
Aries teased, "You're protective."
Keifer turned red. "I JUST DON'T WANT HER CRYING."
They all slept in one room-snoring, talking in their sleep, rolling off mattresses...
But that night became one of those childhood memories they would never forget.

📚Age 10 - The Class Section Shuffle
When they turned ten, the school shuffled sections.
For the first time...
They were not all in the same classroom.
Jay Jay and Yuri ended up together. Keifer ended up alone in another section. Aries and Percy were placed somewhere else.
Keifer hated it.
Hated that he's not same classroom as Jay Jay.
Hated that Yuri is with Jay Jay.
He would peek through Jay's classroom window during breaks.
Yuri rolled his eyes.
"You're going to get in trouble."
"I don't care!"
Jay Jay opened the window.
"Keif, go back before teacher sees you!"
"I'm checking if you need help."
Jay Jay laughed.
"I'm fine. I'll see you at lunch."
That reassurance was enough for him to run (loudly) back to his room.

🎒Age 11 The "Almost Fight" That Changed Everything
A new transfer student started teasing Jay Jay for being "too quiet" and "too kind."
Before Jay Jay could respond-
Keifer jumped up, ready to start a fight.
But Jay Jay grabbed his arm.
"No fighting," she said softly.
Keifer froze.
She wasn't angry.
She wasn't upset.
She was just disappointed.
And Keifer hated that feeling more than suspension, more than detention.
He lowered his fists.
"...Fine."
The transfer student apologized, surprised that a single girl could stop the loudest troublemaker in school.
Yuri patted Keifer's back.
"That's growth."
Percy nodded.
"You're evolving like a Pokémon."
Aries smiled proudly.
"My siblings influence everyone."

🎧Age 12 - The Middle School Storm
Middle school came with harder classes, bigger responsibilities and new students entering their world.
But their group stayed the same.
They faced homework, projects, and teachers who talked too long.
Keifer and Yuri competed in EVERYTHING-sports, quizzes, even who walked faster.
Percy joined clubs just for the snacks.
Aries joined clubs to protect Jay Jay.
Jay Jay joined clubs because she genuinely wanted to learn.
Their bond stayed strong...
Even though something else quietly grew:
Keifer became more watchful of Jay Jay.
Yuri became quietly supportive from the sidelines.
Aries became even more protective.
But none of it was romantic.
They were just becoming older, kinder versions of the children who once fought in a hallway.

Turning thirteen felt different.
A reminder that something big was coming.

Something tied to Keifer.
Something tied to their parents promises.
But none of the kids know it yet.
