(Early morning. Birds chirp outside. The camera pans over Ajish City, then focuses on Sidachi waking up. He sits upright on the bed.)
MC Sidachi: It's been two weeks ever since my grandpa died… I still think of the words he told me that night before he passed.
(Sidachi gets up, dresses, and prepares to go for a walk. He walks downstairs and sees his little sister watching TV in the living room.)
MC Sidachi: How many times are you going to watch that show?
Little sister Lisha: Umm… for as long as I want, geez! It's my favorite show, what do you expect?
MC Sidachi: Whatever.
(Sidachi walks to the front door.)
Little sister Lisha: And where do you think you're going?
MC Sidachi: Does that supposed to matter to you?
(Lisha gets angry and calls their mother.)
Little sister Lisha: Mom! Sidachi wants to leave home without your permission!
(Sidachi holds his face.)
MC Sidachi: You just had to tell on me, Lisha…
(Samatara shows up.)
Mother Samatara: Sidachi, where are you off to?
MC Sidachi: I'm going for a walk. I'll be back home by lunchtime. I don't think anyone can forget your rules, Mom.
Mother Samatara: It's good that you know your mummy. (She smiles.)
Little sister Lisha: What?! Mom, you can't just let Sidachi leave! You know the way he acts when he meets his friend Rico… he won't be back on time!
MC Sidachi: Says the girl who stayed up all night yesterday watching the same TV show over and over again. Mom, I trust you can handle that.

(Sidachi closes the door and leaves for the park. On the way, he talks to himself.)
MC Sidachi (thinking): Little sisters can be annoying sometimes… but Lisha… well, she's always annoying.
(After some time, Sidachi arrives at the park and sees people doing different activities. People jogging , kids playing around e.t.c)
MC Sidachi: What a great day to be at the park, huh?
(Sidachi walks along the path. Suddenly, he notices a card on the ground. He picks it up and sees a young girl trying to shuffle cards. He approaches the girl.)
MC Sidachi: You dropped something.
Young girl Maya: Huh! Isn't that my card?
MC Sidachi: I was walking along the path and saw it on the ground, so I picked it up.
(Sidachi gives the card to Maya.)
MC Sidachi: Here you go.
Young girl Maya: Thanks.
MC Sidachi: So, what are you doing?
Young girl Maya: Isn't it obvious? I'm trying to practice magic. I'm trying to shuffle the cards, but it seems it's not working.
MC Sidachi: You're just not doing it right. Mind if I take a seat?
Young girl Maya: Not at all.
(Sidachi sits on the bench.)
MC Sidachi: My name's Sidachi… Sidachi Nasharimei. What's yours?
Young girl Maya: Maya… Maya Kagiri.
MC Sidachi: Alright, Maya. Do your parents or anyone know that you want to practice magic?
Young girl Maya: No, not yet.
MC Sidachi: What's the delay?
Young girl Maya: I want to learn how to do magic first… then I'll tell them.

(Maya smiles happily. Sidachi shuffles the deck of cards well.)
MC Sidachi: Okay… pick any card of your choice.
Young girl Maya: I'll go with this one.
MC Sidachi: Alright, now memorize your card.
Young girl Maya: Got it.
MC Sidachi: You're sure?
Young girl Maya: Yep.
MC Sidachi: Okay, now you can place your card anywhere in the deck.
(Maya Places the card in the deck.) Permission to shuffle?
Young girl Maya:Granted.
(Sidachi shuffles the deck carefully.)
MC Sidachi: Here you go.
Young girl Maya: Umm… is something supposed to happen?
MC Sidachi: You're supposed to snap your fingers three times.
Young girl Maya: Just three times?
MC Sidachi: Go for it.
(Maya snaps her fingers while counting.)
Young girl Maya: One! Two! Three!
MC Sidachi: That's your card, right? The one on top… the 3 of hearts.
(Maya picks the card on top, surprised it's her card.)
Young girl Maya: Woah! You're a magician, aren't you?
MC Sidachi: Maybe… okay, you got me. I am a magician, but just avoid telling people.
Young girl Maya: My mouth is shut!
(Sidachi stands.)
MC Sidachi: I think it's time for me to take my leave.
Young girl Maya: You're leaving already?
MC Sidachi: I only came here for a walk.
Young girl Maya: Please… can you be my mentor in magic?
MC Sidachi (kneeling on one knee, holding her shoulder): Look, Maya. If you want to practice magic that's real, you need three things: trust, faith, and knowledge. If you have these three, then you can practice real magic. Trust me… one day, people will love what you do.
(Sidachi stands and smiles at her.)
MC Sidachi: Don't worry. I know your face, Maya. There's no way I could forget you. If I find the time, we can meet here at the park, if you'd like.
Young girl Maya: Really? Thank you so much! I promise I won't disappoint you. But I don't have a cell phone… how will you know if I'll be at the park?
MC Sidachi: I guess I'll just show up unexpectedly. I just hope I find you.
Young girl Maya: Better than nothing.
(A thief runs past, snatching a woman's purse.)
Person Woman: Stop that man! He's got my purse!
Guy Thief: Stealing during the day? So what? People are giving me weird looks. I don't care… got to hand this to myself—very pretty lady with a very attractive purse.
Person Woman: Someone, please stop him!
(Sidachi notices the thief's path and sees Morissa jogging in the same direction. She's plugged into earphones.)
MC Sidachi (thinking): Is that Morissa? She's jogging directly toward the thief…
(Sidachi spots Maya's banana behind her.)
MC Sidachi (thinking): I think I have an idea… Maya.
Young girl Maya: Huh?
MC Sidachi: The banana behind you… it's yours, right?
Young girl Maya: Yeah… what's wrong?
MC Sidachi: Nothing. I just need to borrow it for a sec.
Young girl Maya: O-kay.
(Maya gives him the banana.)
MC Sidachi: Do you like ice cream?
Young girl Maya: Yeah! I love ice cream… who hates ice cream?
(Inside voice)
MC Sidachi (thinking): I do.
Young girl Maya: Why are you asking?
(Sidachi gives Maya money.)
MC Sidachi: Here, 1,000 yen. You can get as much ice cream as you want, my treat.
Young girl Maya: Really? Awesome! Thanks so much!
(Maya prepares to leave.)
MC Sidachi: Wait… before you go, can you lend me one single card?
Young girl Maya: Okay, sure.I can give you a joker?
Mc Sidachi: Appreciate it.
Young girl Maya: What's wrong?
MC Sidachi: It's nothing… trust me.
(Maya runs off to buy ice cream.)
Young girl Maya: Bye, Sidachi! See you around!
(Sidachi waves, surprised she already left.)
MC Sidachi (thinking): Anyway, at least I met someone new, regardless of her age. Alright… time to get this woman's purse back.
(Sidachi peels the banana, keeping only the peel.)
MC Sidachi (thinking): Too bad… had to waste a good banana.Okay… Morissa and the thief are still far from each other. I have enough time to throw the banana peel and the card… banana peel first. Not really good at throwing… but here goes nothing!
(He throws the peel; it lands on the path Morissa and the thief are running on.)
MC Sidachi (thinking): Bingo! Now the card…
(Sidachi throws the card. The card becomes plane in mid-air. Morissa slips on the banana peel and lands on the card with her hand)
Close friend Morissa: Uh! Uuh! Ouch… I slipped… on a banana peel…
(She looks at her hand.)
MC Sidachi (thinking): She just has to say that word…
Close friend Morissa: What the… a card?
(She sees the word on the card: "Abracadabra!")
Guy Thief: Hey! Get out of the way!
Close friend Morissa: Oh no!
(Morissa saw the thief coming towards her then Suddenly, the thief disappears from view and reappears in jail. The woman's purse drops near Morissa.)
Close friend Morissa: Huh! Where did that man go?

(Morissa sees the purse and hands it to her.)

(Sidachi shows up.)
