Chapter 39 - Chapter 39 Testing And Return

As for Yuta, seeing that only he couldn't exchange for Observation Haki, he looked to Takeru's second suggestion. He used his only C-Rank evaluation and three thousand points on the Chakra Extraction Technique, leaving him with just three hundred points.

However, feeling the subtle changes and basic attribute boost from Chakra, he showed a faint smile.

"I've finished my exchanges. I'll head out first. I'd like to ask everyone to cooperate with an experiment," Takeru said seriously.

"Huh? What experiment?" everyone asked in surprise.

"To test whether the time flow here is the same as outside," Takeru explained.

"Alright, how do you want us to help?" Yukino asked, nodding.

"Simple. I'll go out now. You all come out ten minutes later. Then, two people stay and come out after another ten minutes," Takeru said directly.

"Okay," Everyone agreed without objection.

"Good, I'll head out then." Seeing their agreement, Takeru quickly pressed his Reincarnation Watch and vanished.

When Takeru regained awareness, he was back in Yukino's apartment. He immediately checked his phone: 15:58, twenty minutes later than when he first entered the Reincarnation Space.

He then waited. At 16:08, Yukino and the Hirasawa sisters appeared.

Finally, at 16:18, Umaru, Yuta, and the others appeared together.

Clearly, the time spent in the Reincarnation Space matched real-world time. Only instance world time differed.

But the time in the instance world was likely fixed at around fifteen minutes real-world time.

Compared to last time, Takeru's settlement, enhancements, and discussions this time took about forty minutes...

He shared this hypothesis with everyone, who felt relieved upon hearing it.

This meant if they hurried, they could complete a Reincarnation Space session within thirty minutes.

"Alright, this mission is successfully concluded. Next time, we don't have to gather, but we can agree on a time. It's getting late, I should head back. Work hard, everyone. See you tomorrow." Takeru stood up, addressing the group.

"How about dinner? My treat," Yukino offered, standing as well.

"No, my sister is waiting at home. Let's leave it at that. Everyone should practice their new strength and abilities." Takeru gently shook his head, declining.

"I see. I'll head out too then," Rikka said, standing up.

"We won't disturb you any longer. See you at school tomorrow," Umaru said with a smile, also standing.

"Onii-chan, you're back so soon! Is everything okay?" Miu asked curiously in their apartment.

"The activity ended, so I came back. What, don't you want me back?" Takeru teased.

"Of course I do!" Miu puffed out her cheeks.

"Is that so?" Takeru couldn't help but pinch her cheek.

"Hey, let's eat out tonight. Anything you want?" Takeru suggested after a moment's thought.

"Great! I want grilled meat!" Miu's eyes lit up.

"Grilled meat? Alright, how about Anrakutaro's all-you-can-eat barbecue?" Takeru suggested.

"Okay!" Miu nodded quickly.

Anrakutaro was an all-you-can-eat barbecue restaurant that also offered sushi, cake, fried chicken, hamburger steak, and various other dishes. The selection was rich. Dinner cost 2,100 yen per adult, 1,200 for children.

Takeru and Miu had been twice. Though a bit expensive, the taste was decent.

Though Takeru only had about 200,000 yen left, his first fixed royalty payment was due in a few days...

Once decided, they prepared to go out. Miu spent time getting ready. Though only ten, she always tidied up before going out… not applying makeup, but choosing her outfit and preparing herself.

Outside, Takeru hailed a taxi directly to the restaurant, located in a large plaza with high foot traffic.

As Takeru and Miu arrived, passersby occasionally glanced their way. Takeru paid little attention...

Heading straight to their destination, they soon purchased one adult and one child ticket.

Guided by staff, they quickly chose a seat and began eating.

Perhaps due to his increasing strength, Takeru ate three to four times his usual amount, astonishing Miu.

"Onii-chan, I know we want to get our money's worth, but getting sick wouldn't be good," Miu said worriedly, watching his terrifying appetite.

"I'm only about eighty percent full," Takeru said with a light smile.

Since staff regularly cleared empty plates, the table never looked piled up.
