After everyone gathered at the dining table, Gary opened his laptop and powered it up. Dennis, Daisy, Jason, Kimberly, and Olivia—all now dressed in casual clothes—waited patiently. Once the computer was up and Gary had typed for a few moments, he turned the screen around to show the others.
Dennis, Daisy, Jason, and Kimberly's eyes immediately went wide. Gary was showing them his bank statement; a massive amount of money had just been deposited into his account with a memo from the Hunter Guild. Shortly after, another large sum appeared, this time from the station authorities. Both transactions were the payout from their recent battle.
"Wait a second... so those two guys talking to you at the station earlier were...?" Dennis asked.
