After surviving the chaos of the Turkey Dick incidents, fainting spots, and Vario's… unique digestive disasters, the store finally had a rare moment of calm. The shelves were mostly intact, the monkey was lounging lazily atop a stack of chips, and Nyx had paused her filming to actually sit down.
Bella clapped her hands. "Alright, everyone, enough disasters for one day. It's time to relax."
Vario raised an eyebrow. "Relax… in this store?"
"Yes," Bella said firmly. "We're watching JJK. All of it. Snacks ready, drinks ready, no magical explosions for at least—oh, let's say—five minutes."
Nyx cheered. "Finally! I can record reactions without dodging flying candy." She grabbed her camera and set it up near the couch area.
Mario, still recovering from his secret Turkey Dick feast, plopped down in a chair, stretching. "I hope this marathon has plenty of food."
Vario reluctantly agreed, grabbing a bag of chips while muttering, "This better not be interrupted by Oni attacks or monkey shenanigans."
As the opening credits rolled, the team settled in. Bella sat cross-legged on the floor with her apron neatly tucked, Nyx behind the camera narrating every reaction, and Yuwen calmly leaning against the counter with a snack in hand. The monkey bounced on the couch armrest, eyes glued to the screen.
At the first intense fight scene, Vario's eyes widened. "Whoa… that's some serious cursed energy!"
Bella laughed, holding her drink. "I told you, it's addictive. Look at the animation!"
Nyx leaned closer to the camera. "Note: best reaction shot so far—Vario flinching at the cursed spirit explosion."
Mario, still bloated from the Turkey Dick binge, groaned. "I can barely sit upright… and now they're making me want to fight curses too?"
The group watched one fight scene after another. The monkey occasionally squeaked in excitement, jumping at particularly dramatic attacks. Vario mimicked some of the moves in exaggerated fashion, accidentally knocking over a cup of soda, which Nyx quickly dodged.
Bella clutched her drink and laughed hysterically. "Vario! Stop spilling my soda!"
Nyx barely suppressed her laughter, filming Vario flailing. "This is the perfect JJK commentary episode! The chaos of the store meets the chaos of cursed energy!"
Hours passed, and by the end of the marathon, everyone was exhausted but satisfied. Vario was sprawled across the floor, Mario napping in a chair, Bella sipping her soda, Nyx rewatching clips on the camera, and the monkey curled up beside them.
Bella sighed contentedly. "See? Chaos-free time can exist… if only for a few hours."
Vario groaned, slowly opening one eye. "Don't jinx it. We all know chaos will return… probably with Turkey Dick or a rogue Oni."
Nyx nodded, already plotting her next recording. "True. But for now… JJK, snacks, and laughter. Legendary day for the store."
