Chapter 1 - Colorless Life-Priya Chakraborty

People are colorless all around

Life has turned colorless.

No one belongs to anyone,

Everyone seems somehow

to be becoming distant.

Life is no longer

as it used to be,

Those who can forget survive.

Even family, though familiar,

feels very unfamiliar—

Two brothers sing

the song of selfishness.

What will

my life be like?

Will this colorless life

ever become colorful?

Days pass, months pass,

years go by.

Will the song of selfishness

end only when I die?
