He suddenly seized the armrests of her chair and yanked it closer to him.
A sharp squeal burst from Sofía's lips as her eyes widened in pure terror.
His long legs slid to either side of hers, trapping her completely as he leaned forward, caging her within the chair. His face hovered just inches from hers.
"What was Miguel saying to you when I walked into the classroom?" he demanded, venom coating every word.
Sofía clutched her bag tightly against her chest as if it were her only shield.
Her heart pounded wildly, racing like it was trying to escape her ribcage, while her mind screamed at her to run.
"Is he your friend?" Fernando growled harshly.
He couldn't erase the memory of how that bastard Miguel kept looking at her legs.
Fernando was a man.
He knew exactly what another man's gaze meant.
And that fucker wanted her.
The thought ignited a dangerous rage inside him.
The bastard would die by his hands.
