"First Mate Mohji, what do we do? Captain Buggy, Chief of Staff Cabaji, and so many of our brothers have fallen into that kid's hands. Is this the end of the Buggy Pirates?"
On the deserted streets, Richie the lion galloped forward with Mohji on his back. Six pirates followed closely behind, their faces etched with grief.
"What are you talking about! The Buggy Pirates will never vanish! We have to find an opportunity to rescue Captain Buggy and the others!"
Mohji spoke fiercely, though fear still lingered in his eyes.
After his subordinates had woken him up, he had witnessed the moment Buggy was defeated, and then caught sight of the numerous Buggy Pirates members lying on the ground, clearly taken out.
Without a second thought, he had turned and fled with the remaining few members of the crew.
If the captain and so many others had been defeated, what could these few people do to turn the tide?
It was better to return to the ship, get their powerful Buggy Cannon, and then look for a chance to crush the enemy and save their captain and comrades.
Soon after, the group returned to the pirate ship and quickly sailed away from the dock, finding a secluded place to hide.
When they saw their captain tied up like a ball and loaded onto a small boat from a distance, they instantly became agitated.
"It's Captain Buggy! And Chief of Staff Cabaji!"
"First Mate Mohji! What should we do?"
Mohji said with a heavy expression, "Wait! Captain Buggy and the others are on that ship. We can't fire the Buggy Cannon."
"But... what about the other brothers? They must have been left in town."
Mohji said coldly, "There's no time to worry about them. We must follow this ship to find out where they are taking Captain Buggy."
"As for the brothers in town, if they weren't killed, I think they'll be fine."
Tears filled the eyes of several subordinates. "Yes! First Mate Mohji, we understand!"
...
Half a day later, as Mohji and the others followed and personally saw Buggy and Cabaji being brought into a Marine Branch, they felt like the sky was falling.
Everyone was dejected, unable to believe their captain and chief of staff had been captured by the Marines just like that, beginning a 'wonderful' life of free room and board.
"M-Mohji, First Mate, what... what do we do next?"
The few subordinates were at a loss, not knowing where they should go from here.
Mohji was dazed for a long time, equally lost in his heart.
After a long while, he finally pulled himself together and said with gritted teeth, "What do we do? We find a way to rescue Captain Buggy from the Marines, of course!"
"The Buggy Pirates will absolutely not perish like this!"
...
Putting aside how Mohji would shoulder the difficult task of rescuing Buggy and saving the crew, or how he would plot to liberate Buggy from the Marines.
Let's return our focus to Goku and Nami.
After handing Buggy over to the Marines and receiving the 15 million Berry bounty, Goku and Nami finally had enough money to buy a new ship.
After some inquiries by Nami, they found a wealthy family and purchased a brand-new ship from them—one that had never set sail since it was built.
Immediately, the two used the Grand Line navigation map they had acquired to lock onto the direction of the Grand Line. They steered their new ship, riding the wind and waves!
On the azure ocean, the warm sunlight fell gently upon a brig-style ship nearly twenty meters long.
On the ship, a pure yellow flag and blue-and-white triangular sails fluttered and snapped in the wind.
Goku sat cross-legged on the monkey-head prow, looking into the distance, his face full of anticipation for the Grand Line.
Although he still hadn't found Master Roshi or Krillin, it didn't matter. He believed he would find them one day.
Before then, he would train hard, constantly breaking through his limits and making himself stronger and stronger.
By the time he saw Grandpa Roshi again, he could proudly say, 'Look! I've been training hard and haven't forgotten your teachings!'
"Hey! Goku!"
Nami's shout pulled him out of his thoughts.
Goku turned his head and looked over curiously. "What's up, Nami?"
Nami walked over slowly, holding up two fingers as she looked at him. "There are two very important things."
"First! Goku, I think we should give our ship a name."
"Give it a name?" Goku blinked, confused.
"Yes!" Nami's expression was serious.
"We aren't just playing around anymore. We are heading for the Grand Line, a place full of danger."
"In a place like that, our ship isn't just a tool; it's our partner and our mobile harbor."
"So we need to give it a name to signify that it has truly become our partner!"
Originally, they wouldn't have needed to name it because shipbuilders often give their creations a name they like, which the owners usually adopt.
But the ship they bought happened to be in that special situation where it hadn't been named yet, so they had to do it themselves.
Hearing Nami's words, Goku scratched his cheek and said, "I see. Then you pick one, Nami. I'm not good at naming things."
Nami wore a 'just as I thought' expression, put her hands on her hips, and shook her head. "I knew you'd say that."
"Goku, let me ask you: besides finding the people you're looking for, do you have a dream for going to the Grand Line?"
Goku blinked blankly. After a few seconds of thought, he said, "I want to fight powerful experts and make myself stronger. Does that count as a dream?"
"It counts! Of course it counts!" Nami answered without hesitation.
"I have a dream too. My dream is to draw a map of the entire world!"
She stated her dream and then smiled slightly.
"Since we both have dreams, and this ship is the place that carries them, how about we name it the Dream Chaser?"
"Dream Chaser?" Goku repeated the name.
Then he raised his eyebrows and nodded vigorously. "Great! Let's call it the Dream Chaser!"
Nami smiled and held up two fingers again. "The second thing is that we need to find at least one more partner."
"Find a partner? Why?" Goku asked, puzzled.
"It's the same issue I just mentioned. We're about to sail into the Grand Line, a place full of danger. Just the two of us can't possibly control the ship properly or handle all kinds of crises. We must have new partners join us," Nami said solemnly.
"Then where do we find them?"
"That's exactly what I'm worried about." Nami looked a bit troubled.
"Most people don't have the courage to go to the Grand Line, and many of those who do are pirates. It will be very, very hard to find someone who has the courage but isn't a pirate."
