Chapter 6 - chapter 6

After the Sect Leader saw the massive amount of cores the Main Character (MC) had gathered, he said, "Disciple, you have broken the record!"

The MC simply smiled. The Sect Leader joked, "Even I didn't gather that many back in my day." As they were chatting, the Great Elder arrived and pleaded, "Boy, please, become my disciple!"

The MC asked flatly, "What's the benefit for me?"

The Great Elder thought for a moment and said, "I can see you are on the verge of a breakthrough. I will give you cultivation pills to speed up your level-up." The MC agreed, and the Great Elder was overjoyed.

Breakthrough in the RoomThe scene shifts to the MC's room. He is sitting in deep cultivation to increase his Martial Arts level. It takes four hours to move from the 4th Level Low Stage to the 4th Level Mid Stage.

The MC says to himself happily, "At this rate, I might reach Level 6 within a year. My progress is incredibly fast."

The Encounter on the RoadThe MC leaves his house and begins walking down the street. He notices a group of thugs bullying a young boy. The MC stops and thinks, Should I save this kid? After a moment, he decides, Fine, I've decided to help.

As the MC approaches, the thugs notice him. One of them shouts, "Hey kid! You want to play the hero?"

The MC walks right up to him. With a devilish smile, he whispers into the leader's ear, "No, brother... I don't want to be a hero. I want to be the villain. And do you know what villains do?"

The MC bursts into loud, manic laughter. The thugs are intimidated at first, but they find their courage and rush in to attack. The MC continues to laugh even louder as he moves. In a split second, the scene blurs—and the thugs' heads are severed from their bodies.

The MC walks over to the bullied boy and asks, "Hey, are you okay?"

The boy, trembling with fear, stammers, "Y-yes, I'm fine!" and immediately runs away. The MC watches him go, making a funny, confused face.

The Marketplace and the Governor's SonThe scene shifts to the market. A merchant is shouting, "Come see! I have a Red Spirit Stone! The price is 20 gold coins!"

The MC approaches and says, "Uncle, I want this stone."

Suddenly, another youth steps forward and snaps, "No, I'm buying it!"

The crowd begins to whisper:

"Isn't that the City Governor's son?"

"Yeah, he's a total playboy and a spoiled brat."

The MC stares at the boy. A new ambition begins to take root in his mind: He wants to build his own family—one powerful enough to rule the entire Domain.
