One morning,I recieved a phone call from Mila.She asked me to meet her at a hotel near town.I wasn't so busy,so I just went.
She was beaten up,she looked so thin.She was even unnoticeable.This was new.First, I payed for her lunch.After eating she told me how life has been hard lately.
She said Vehaan has been beating her up like a dog.She cried about how she barely eats because he calls her fat.When I asked her when it started,she said ever since they went to see a doctor and the doctor said she was not able to give birth.
I felt sad for her.She begged me to help,she did not want to go back to him.I was ready to help,so we went house hunting with her that same day,we looked for a house,one bedroom,I payed rent for that whole year.
I hired her so she could get something to feed on.She was happy,she even promised to never let me suffer,ever!I simply told her her happiness was my happiness but deep down,I know I did all that as an apology.
I went home relieved,I had done something to Mila.I had helped her and that was the best way to tell how sorry I was.I also promised myself to help whenever.
Then something came into my mind,If Vehaan could not have children with Mila,he might come back for Scar and Sky,I shook it off.It had been three years,by now he did not even know whether they were his children or not.
I still prayed to God though,I prayed Vehaan never comes back to my life.I knew I had sinned alot,but I hoped he would listen to me atleast for Liam's sake.
The next day,as I was going to work, I saw Vehaan at my company gate. Immediately I saw him I raised my car window frames,I knew he had not come for me but it could be better if he never saw me.
I rushed into my office without looking behind.No sooner had I reached my office than I heard a knock at my door."Come in,"I said with a scared shaky voice.Then I saw him,after four years,Vehaan.
"What?"I asked him, forcing my courage,I did not want to sound scared.
"Can't I say hi to the love of my life,it has been three years, don't you miss me?"He said as he came closer to my sit.
I stood up,"No,I don't miss you.I am a married woman have you forgotten?"I said with a firm voice "and I would appreciate if you do not come closer."I added.
"Why?Are you scared you may not resist me.Come on Chelsea,you and I know you love me more than that man you call your husband.I told you before,I am ready to sign divorce papers for you.Lets do this,come to me my love,I promise to love you right."Vehaan said looking straight at me,as if no was not an option.
"No Vehaan,Liam loves me,and he has not done anything to deserve that.I said as I tried to walk out of my office.Vehaan held the door,he looked at me as he always did.As if he knew I could never resist him.I looked back, feeling nothing.
"Excuse me,I have things to do,"I said as I held the door knob.
