Chapter 106 - A Game Against Koenji Rokusuke

Despite Manabu's warnings, Ryunosuke stood firm in his position without the slightest fear.

Manabu had no other choice—he flatly rejected Ryunosuke's proposal.

He didn't want to see such a talented junior die a foolish death for no clear reason.

His main reason was: if he died, who would look after his little sister?

If Ryunosuke could hear Manabu's inner thoughts, he would surely cough up blood.

"I was quite touched by the first half of that sentence, but what's with the second half? So the meaning of my life is just to look after your sister?!"

Seeing Manabu refuse him, Ryunosuke wasn't angry. He knew the man was doing it for his own good. After thinking for a moment, he asked him.

"What do I need to do for you to agree to help me?"

Manabu adjusted his glasses. "Give me one reason I can't refuse."

Ryunosuke: "For your sister's sake!"

Manabu: "Fine! I agree!!!"

Right after that, the call was immediately disconnected. Manabu was stunned for a moment before realizing he had been trapped. "Damn it! That Akasaka used my sister's name to bait me! I reflexively agreed just like that..."

On the other side, Ryunosuke showed a victorious smile as his plan succeeded.

"Hehe, you think I can't handle you? The best way to deal with a sister complex is of course to use his sister as a shield. Your head must be spinning right now, huh?"

He hummed cheerfully as he walked away with his hands behind his head.

The next morning, the ship arrived at the school dormitory island.

At the same time, an announcement echoed through the loudspeakers:

"First-year Class C student, Koenji Rokusuke-kun, you have been expelled from school. Please pack your belongings and prepare to leave this afternoon."

Koenji, who had just gotten off the ship, was momentarily stunned, but he quickly realized something... He turned sharply toward Ryunosuke, who had also just disembarked.

Ryunosuke noticed that gaze and gave a slight smile before walking away casually.

Koenji showed an interested expression; he didn't feel angry about being expelled, but rather found this very interesting. This was the first time a Koenji had been toyed with by someone.

"Akasaka Ryunosuke? Interesting, you're truly interesting! Boy! Hahahaha!"

Koenji laughed heartily toward the sky. He wasn't panicking at all.

There was no way someone like Koenji Rokusuke didn't have a trick up his sleeve.

First, he went to his homeroom teacher to request a postponement of expulsion.

Every 100,000 points could postpone expulsion for one day. In other words, the 10 million points in Koenji's hands could keep him at school for 100 days. That time was more than enough...

Koenji put his hands in his pockets and walked toward the Student Council room. Meanwhile, Chabashira Sae massaged her temples in frustration.

"What exactly are you trying to do, Akasaka Ryunosuke..."

The atmosphere in Class C was also uneasy.

They had all heard the announcement about one of their students being expelled for no clear reason.

They all felt anxious. What mistake had Koenji made to be expelled?

Hirata clenched his fists until they cracked, gritting his teeth in frustration.

This was what he least wanted to see—a classmate being expelled. He couldn't accept it!

When Sudo was expelled before, he had been regretful enough, but at least there was a clear reason then (assault). However, this time, Koenji was mysteriously expelled, and Hirata truly couldn't accept it!!!

On the other side, Ryunosuke didn't sit idle. He also headed to the Student Council room with a meaningful smile.

If Koenji wanted to cancel his expulsion, the only place he could ask for help was from the President or Vice President of the Student Council. Only those two had the authority and—more importantly—enough points to save Koenji.

When Ryunosuke pushed open the door to the Student Council room, sure enough, Koenji was already sitting on the sofa with his legs crossed, acting very arrogant in front of President Horikita Manabu and Vice President Nagumo Miyabi.

However, the two Student Council leaders didn't dare get angry, considering the person before them was the aristocratic son of the Koenji Consortium, the sole heir.

Even Manabu didn't dare act rashly toward this person. He adjusted his black-framed glasses with a serious gaze, pretending not to acknowledge Ryunosuke who had just entered.

As a Student Council member, it was natural for Ryunosuke to come here, and Manabu had to pretend he knew nothing to maintain the charade.

Ryunosuke pulled up a chair and sat down, also with his legs crossed. He looked at Koenji, whom he had nearly gotten expelled from school, with a mocking tone.

"How about it? Like my big gift?"

Koenji laughed, this time a genuine laugh.

This was the first time he had met someone who dared to mess with him. He was very interested. Compared to the issue of being expelled, he was more curious about where this young man got the courage to provoke him.

He didn't believe the man before him was reckless. How could someone who could join the Student Council in two days and unite four classes be reckless?

Koenji looked at him cynically. "Little boy, what's your real plan? It surely isn't just to get me expelled from school, is it?"

Facing Koenji's question, Ryunosuke simply spread his hands, pretending not to understand what he was talking about.

Koenji had to give up for now. The most important thing now was to ensure he didn't leave school. Otherwise, that bastard father of his might really look for his illegitimate children to inherit the family business.

Koenji looked at the Vice President and President before him, then said without preamble. "Give me your points."

He demanded it just like that without showing the slightest respect. Yet even so, the two leaders didn't dare object.

Manabu adjusted his glasses and said in a calm tone.

"Sorry, Koenji-kun. I can't help you with this matter. Why don't you ask Vice President Nagumo Miyabi instead? His points are twice as many as mine."

Manabu threw the responsibility over, while simultaneously giving Ryunosuke a signal that Nagumo's points were double his.

Ryunosuke's eyebrow raised; of course he understood that signal. It was information that Manabu had deliberately leaked to him. In his heart, he began calculating... Nagumo's points were probably around 40 million...

On the other side, Nagumo felt very surprised. He didn't expect the President to throw this "good opportunity" to him.

This was a rare chance to establish a relationship with one of the Four Major Consortiums.

Did Manabu really not care?

Nagumo felt something was off, so he didn't dare speak up for fear this was a trap.
