THIRD PERSON'S POINT OF VIEW
"Duh! Hello?! We're his friends-for fuck's sake!"
"Friends my ass. Would a friend let his hotshot buddies get killed?"
Kidd shot his twin a glare sharp enough to cut glass. They were pinned in the shadowed grounds of the mansion they'd come to visit, darkness broken only by glowing red lines crisscrossing the air-lasers, deadly if they so much as shifted a finger wrong.
"Oh please! It's true! That jackass has to be watching us on camera right now-" Kidd snarled up at a lens hidden in the branches of a potted pine tree. A pine tree, indoors.
"Motherfucker! This how you welcome guests?! You're still the same brain-dead asshole who gives me high blood pressure-" He cut off as a low, furious growl rumbled through the quiet, so deep it vibrated in their chests. Kieran and Kidd exchanged tight looks.
