"All Might!!!"
The moment he appeared, relief spread across the faces of every student present.
Standing there was the strongest Hero—the Symbol of Peace, All Might himself.
On his way to USJ, All Might had encountered Iida Tenya, who had rushed back to the school to request support. After quickly understanding the situation, All Might pushed his already-limited body to its absolute limit and arrived as fast as he could.
The scene before him filled him with rage—and crushing guilt.
No. 13, gravely injured.
Aizawa Shouta, unconscious and broken.
Several wounded students scattered across the battlefield.
And Igarashi Masata, lying motionless on the ground, his condition unknown.
If he hadn't exhausted his transformation time earlier that morning… none of this would have happened.
"Oh? All Might?"
Seeing the arrival of the strongest Hero, Tomura Shigaraki showed no fear. Instead, his excitement grew.
After all, his true objective today had always been to kill All Might.
"Ah… the game continues."
All Might tore off his tie.
The familiar, confident smile was nowhere to be seen.
In its place were eyes burning with fury and clenched teeth trembling with rage.
"Villains," he growled,
"are you ready?"
His muscles swelled grotesquely, stretching his suit to the limit as an overwhelming pressure radiated from his body.
The villains still standing felt as if they were being stared down by a lion—unable to move.
With a single step, All Might vanished.
In the next instant, the villains who had been standing moments before collapsed to the ground.
No one saw how he moved.
No one saw how he struck.
This was the true meaning of the strongest Hero.
All Might scooped up the unconscious Aizawa Shouta and handed him to the approaching Midoriya Izuku.
"Aizawa-kun is counting on you, young man!"
Midoriya and the others rushed forward—but were stopped by the molten lava barrier Masata had created earlier.
"All Might!" Midoriya shouted across the magma.
"The black creature with the exposed brain has incredible physical strength! It also has shock absorption and super-speed regeneration!"
"That monster is called Nomu,"
Shoto Todoroki, who had witnessed Masata's earlier battle, added.
"Earlier, Igarashi punched a hole straight through its body and melted one of its arms. But it regenerated almost instantly. Ordinary punches don't work on it—only magma managed to break through its defenses."
"I see…"
All Might nodded.
He didn't have time to overanalyze.
This transformation was already pushing his body past its limit. Every second mattered.
And against villains—
Absolute power was all he needed.
"Hmph. You seem awfully relaxed," Shigaraki sneered, feeling ignored.
"You're not taking me seriously at all."
"Even if my eyes can't track your movements, you don't seem as terrifying as the rumors say."
"It looks like it's true—you've grown weaker."
Supporting the severed hand on his face, Shigaraki's laughter grew louder.
"Today is your death day, All Might!"
"That one is the leader!" Midoriya shouted urgently.
"Nomu has no intelligence—it only follows his orders!"
As if on cue, Shigaraki raised his hand.
"Kill All Might, Nomu."
"Don't worry, young Midoriya," All Might said calmly, smiling despite the danger.
"CAROLINA… SMASH!!!"
His palm sharpened into a blade, arms crossing as an X-shaped shockwave tore through the air and slammed into Nomu.
Nomu staggered—but only for a moment.
Then it charged again.
"Shock absorption…"
All Might frowned.
"A troublesome Quirk."
He caught Nomu's punch head-on.
The impact felt like being hit by a speeding truck.
All Might's body trembled.
Then—
His eyes flicked to the magma zone Masata had created earlier.
An idea formed.
With a sudden burst of strength, All Might hoisted Nomu overhead and hurled it straight into the molten lava.
BOOM!
The massive body crashed into the magma, sending lava splashing across the battlefield in waves of black smoke.
Yet Nomu rose again—burning, regenerating, relentless.
"His regeneration has slowed down!!!"
Midoriya shouted.
All Might's eyes widened.
He hadn't expected this.
Nomu's wounds were healing—but not as quickly as before. The magma still clinging to its body was actively destroying it, slowing its recovery.
Masata's attacks hadn't been in vain.
"Well done, Igarashi…"
All Might whispered, fury blazing in his eyes.
"TEXAS SMASH!!!"
In an instant, All Might appeared in front of Nomu, driving a thunderous punch into its chest.
The heat from Nomu's body reminded him of the boy lying unconscious nearby.
Anger surged.
Nomu staggered again and fell back into the magma.
"Damn it…" Shigaraki cursed under his breath.
"The magma brat earlier—regenerating internal organs costs too much energy!"
"Shigaraki, we need to leave!"
Kurogiri urged, emerging behind him.
"If Nomu loses mobility completely, we won't be able to escape."
"But Nomu hasn't recovered yet!" Shigaraki snarled.
"All Might isn't dead either! I can't accept this ending!"
"This isn't the time for tantrums," Kurogiri said coldly.
"Remember what your teacher expects of you. Nomu can be remade. If we don't leave now, we won't leave at all."
At the mention of his teacher, Shigaraki froze.
"…Tch."
"You're right. This is game over."
Casting one last look across the magma toward the unconscious Masata—as if burning that image into his memory—Shigaraki stepped into the swirling black portal with Kurogiri.
They vanished.
