Takoda tilted her head, studying him with those enormous eyes that missed absolutely nothing. She was utterly unbothered by the weight of his stare, the same stare that had made battle-hardened warriors reconsider their life choices, that had sent visiting Alphas scrambling for diplomatic language, that had ended negotiations before they'd properly begun.
