"Boss, everyone connected to him has been eliminated." Lin said over the phone.
"Okay, there's still someone left to find." I said, standing next to the car.
Today is Ai's discharge day, and of course I came to pick her up.
"I sent you the information about the missing doctor. But I know he wasn't missing, but murdered, so I want you to investigate this murder. And once the killer is found, don't touch him, but rather leave him fresh and in the warehouse at the port. Death is a luxury for him, I want him to suffer." I growled.
"Understood... Boss, when are you returning?" Lin asked.
"Today. I'm waiting for Ai, and we'll return to the city today." I said.

"Anyway, I have to go. Ai's out of the hospital." I said, ending the call.
Her things were already in the trunk, so she got out holding the children. Without thinking, I walked to the back door and opened it.
Ai blushed slightly and sat down in the passenger seat.
And of course, I noticed the boys and girls looking at my Porsche; their gaze was filled with surprise and admiration.
Well, I hope this will help develop our relationship, and they'll accept me in the future.
Closing the door behind Ai, I sat down in the driver's seat and looked at the seat next to me.
On it lay a small bag of baked goods.
Taking it, I handed it to Ai.
"Eat, I know what hospital food tastes like." I said.

After parking, I got out of the car and saw the woman turn pale upon seeing me. I ignored her and simply walked to the passenger door, opened it, and soon Ai and the children emerged.
Slamming the back door, I went to the trunk and pulled out the bag containing Ai's things.
"Mrs. Director, let me carry..." the woman was about to say, but I interrupted her.
"No need." she finally didn't insist.
We took the elevator up to the apartment where Ai lives, and where the children will now live, for now...
"Mrs. Director, thank you for helping me, and thank you for being with me... I'll be starting work soon and will be performing again, so..."
"No need for words of gratitude. When you feel like you want to come back, just call," I said.
"Okay." Ai replied. "Then I'll be going, but I'll stop by tomorrow morning to check on you," I said, to which she nodded, and I headed for the exit.
(Ai's POV)
Watching this mysterious yet powerful woman leave, I couldn't help but sigh.
She's been so kind to me, and I can't do anything to repay her, and that disappoints me.
"Ai…" I heard a voice behind me.
Turning around, I noticed Miyako Saitou standing by the door.
"Why did Madam CEO tie you up? How did this happen?" she asked.
"About a month ago, she came to visit me in the hospital, and anyway… She stayed in that town until I was discharged, and she offered to drive us back." I said.

"Why did you think she asked me for something?" I asked.

Then I don't understand why she spends time with me and worries about my health? I'm definitely not her equal, so why...
"A few years ago, she even admitted she preferred women." Miyako said, a hint of disgust in her voice, making me frown.

I just sighed heavily.

I saw her lower her head and said quietly.
"No, I'm sorry if you didn't like my harsh words," she said. "Anyway, I'm tired, so I'll go to bed." I said, standing up and still holding the children.
Miyako said nothing, so I headed to the bedroom...
Maybe she's right, and the director really is interested in me?

There are many more women in the world, far more beautiful and of higher status than me, and besides, I'm a single mother under eighteen, while she's the richest woman in the world, and almost ten years older than me...

"Boss, are you in town yet?" she asked.

"No, not yet." I said quietly.

"Did you find the one I asked for?" I asked.
