The Next Morning.
Takahashi Yuuya woke up, brushed his teeth haphazardly, and ate breakfast.
Normally, he would have to jog to school. But things were different now.
With Move Point, he could cover the distance in three or four seconds. Two jumps, and he was there.
So, he decided to spend the extra time farming.
"Time to collect the daily respawns."
All treasure chests below Silver Rank refreshed daily. If he didn't collect them, they would disappear and be replaced. It was a "use it or lose it" mechanic.
"Combining Move Point with Electro Master radar is simply amazing," Yuuya muttered, standing on a rooftop. "I can move precisely even with my eyes closed. This increases farming efficiency by 300%."
He closed his eyes.
Hum.
An electromagnetic pulse swept out. The radar image reflected back into his mind.
[Range: 500 Meters]
There were no blind spots.
"Let's go."
Zip.
Today's spawn rate was slightly lower than the first two days. Most were Black Iron and Bronze chests located in high places.
There was even a Bronze Chest on a passing blimp.
Zip.
Yuuya teleported onto the airship's hull.
WEE-WOO-WEE-WOO!
The proximity alarm screamed instantly.
"Crap!"
Yuuya grabbed the chest in a panic and teleported away before the automated security drones could lock on.
"That was close..."
If Anti-Skill caught him, he'd be taken in for questioning. Worse, he'd have to write a letter of apology. Even worse than that...
"If I get caught, Komoe-sensei will drag me into Remedial Education."
Komoe-sensei loved educating bad students. Her "lecture mode" was terrifying.
Yuuya kept moving, warping to high altitudes and letting himself freefall for a few seconds to experience the sensation of flight.
"I really need a Flying Ability."
Although a Level 4 Electro Master could technically use electromagnetism to magnetize steel bars and ride them like a surfboard (static hover), it was difficult.
"My current output is around 100 Million Volts. To freely traverse between buildings like Misaka Mikoto, I need the Level 5 output of 1 Billion Volts."
In ten minutes, Yuuya cleared the neighborhood.
[Loot: 3 Bronze Chests, 5 Black Iron Chests, Various Normal Chests]
One of the Bronze Chests was in a particularly nasty location—the co-pilot seat of a traffic helicopter flying over the district.
Zip.
Yuuya appeared in the cockpit, grabbed the chest, and vanished.
"Gah?!"
The female pilot jerked the stick, the helicopter swerving violently.
"I hope that wasn't recorded..." Yuuya muttered, standing safely in an alleyway. "Anti-Skill will definitely file a noise complaint."
He rubbed his hands together.
"Time to open them. World Rejecter, don't fail me now."
With his luck comparable to Kamisato Kakeru (the World Rejecter), he didn't believe he would be unlucky.
"Open All."
Ding!

...
"Hiss—"
Yuuya took a deep breath.
"A Dragon Ball?!"
[Item: Earth Dragon Ball (Four-Star)]
Rank: Pseudo-Mythical (Defective)
Origin: Dragon Ball Universe.
Effect: Grants wishes. Requires all 7 balls to summon Shenron. A single ball is useless.
"I got a component of a Mythical Item from a Bronze Chest? My luck is insane."
He held the fist-sized yellow glass sphere. The four red stars inside seemed to glow.
"It's useless right now, but if I collect them all... I can wish for immortality or a new pair of underwear."
He stored it and looked at the next big prize.
[Item: Brain Development Potion x10]
Origin: Interstellar Civilization.
Effect: Develops 3% of the brain's unused capacity per dose.
Limit: Diminishing returns after the first few doses. Maximum total development cap: 20%.
[Item: SCP-281 (The Snooze Clock)]
Origin: SCP Foundation.
Effect: Creates a localized temporal distortion. 9 minutes inside = 1 millisecond outside. Perfect for sleeping in.
[Item: Magic Circuits (Fire Attribute)]
Origin: Type-Moon Universe.
Effect: Pseudo-nerves that convert life force (Od) into magical energy (Prana).
"This Potion..."
Yuuya put the other items away and held up the ten thumb-sized vials of blue liquid.
"This is exactly what I need right now."
His current bottleneck was his human brain. He had the Star Grail and the Book of the Law, but he lacked the processing power to use them.
Pop.
He opened the first vial and downed it.
It tasted like intense mint.
Crack.
Three seconds later, he felt a physical sensation in his skull—like a rusty shackle snapping.
A wave of coolness washed over his mind. His thoughts accelerated. His memory sharpened. Complex differential equations that used to take effort now solved themselves instantly.
"My calculation speed... it increased by at least 500%!"
And that was just 3%.
"If I drink them all..."
Yuuya didn't hesitate. He opened the remaining nine vials and downed them like shots of espresso.
Gulp. Gulp. Gulp.
"Haa..."
The world slowed down.
No, the world stayed the same. He sped up.
His brain wasn't just adding processing power; it was multiplying it geometrically.
[Current Brain Development: +20%]
"Incredible..."
Yuuya looked at his hand. He ran the formula for Move Point.
"Before, a complete coordinate calculation took 0.5 seconds. Now... it's instantaneous."
"I can run three hundred parallel calculations in the time it used to take me to blink."
He grinned, feeling the static electricity hum around him with newfound precision.
"This computing power... I might be approaching Accelerator's level."
