It was the night of the full moon. Cassian and Jade waited in the shadows of the library tunnels. He had used Volkov to leak a fake piece of evidence to 'The Imperial Shadow'.
Soon, five masked figures entered. They were high-ranking officials—generals, the finance minister, and... Duke Reynold, the King's brother.
"Volkov! Where is the evidence?" one masked man demanded.
Suddenly, a bright light flooded the tunnel. Prince Leo and the King appeared with an army. "Traitors!" the King roared.
Cassian stepped forward with a victorious smile. "Your Majesty, these men planned to seize the throne by killing the Princess."
The 'Imperial Shadow' unmasked himself. It was indeed Duke Reynold. "Cassian! You ruined everything!" he screamed.
"You were just a bad player in a high-stakes game," Cassian replied calmly. By dawn, the traitors were captured. Cassian was no longer the hated villain; he was now The Shadow Strategist, the man who controlled the empire from the shadows.
