Chapter 7 - CHAPTER 7

~maybe she will regret later.

A silent night where nobody entruptted sleeping and lost in there own freya can't sleep, she tried a lot to control herself but can't sleep and her footsteps ended up on the same place-- hospital terrace.

She had a faith that she can find him here but he wasn't there. A sudden cold air slapped on her gently she felt the same, presence, watching. She knew it was him, don't know how she knew that but she did. She slowly turned around and saw him lapping against the wall long coat ciggerate in his hand and face as usual unreadable.

"you shouldn't be awake" he said.

"niether you should be here" she replied.

"you arehere because of me, if I wasn't here you have left and slept a while ago. I'm right I guess". He added.

Noah finally spoke. "You heard things you weren't meant to."

Freya nodded. "So did you."

That made him look at her.

"No one tells the truth in this place," she continued softly. "They just… delay it."

Noah's jaw tightened. "Truth doesn't help."

"Sometimes it does," Freya said. "Sometimes it's the only thing that stays."

"You don't know anything about me," he said quietly.

"Then tell me," she replied.

He hesitated.

Then the words came—not angry, not loud—but stripped of everything gentle.

"Nobody can ever love me."

Freya didn't interrupt.

"Not now. Not ever," Noah continued. "People hate me. Or they fear me. That's how it's always been." His voice hardened. "And it's how it should be."

She watched him carefully. "Why?"

"Because I don't belong here," he said. "I ruin things. I bring endings. Wherever I exist, something breaks."

Freya swallowed.

"You don't look like a monster," she said.

"That's the problem," Noah replied. "if I did, at least it would make sense."

He turned to face her fully now, eyes dark, honest in a way that almost hurt.

"People like you shouldn't stand this close to someone like me," he said. "Especially not when time is already against you."

"Listen to me," she said stepping closer to him.

Noah stiffened. "Don't."

"I will," she said gently. "Because maybe people hated you. Maybe they feared you. Maybe they ran away." Her voice trembled just slightly. "But I won't."

He stared at her.

"I don't care who you are," Freya said. "Or what you think you bring into this world."

She stopped just a step away from him.

"I will love you," she said quietly. "No matter what."

Noah shook his head. "You don't mean that."

"I do," she replied. "And I know I don't have much time." She smiled softly—sad, but fearless. "But whatever time I have… I choose you."

Noah stepped back as if burned.

"You don't understand what you're saying," he whispered.

"Maybe not," Freya said. "But I understand what I feel."

For a long moment, neither of them moved.

Then Noah turned away.

"You should rest," he said, voice tight. "You don't know what you're promising, you might regret that later that's not easy to love me love someone hated by the world".

As he left, his hand trembled where Freya couldn't see it.

And for the first time since his existence began,

Noah feared something worse than hatred.

He feared being loved.🌊
