Rocky sighed and rubbed Matt's head to comfort him. The black cat just nodded and continued to sleep lazily.
Rocky knew that Matt's murderous intent always had legitimate reasons. He never wanted to kill someone just for the sake of mere killing.
He wondered what Pope Luke carried or had done to draw Matt's hatred.
He couldn't read the intentions behind that gentle face.
That bastard was an experienced fox. He would've been nearly tricked by that kind face if his beasts hadn't sent him a clear warning.
Luke still smiled brightly as he approached the deepest part of the garden.
At some point, a thick mist stood before them, so dense they couldn't see anything through it.
Luke spoke while pointing ahead.
"Well, it's hard to say… Some plants have the ability to release a very strong negative aura. They resonate with each other to grow. So I try to arrange them in a group, far away from the normal plants."
