"Seriously, just how far did he fucking teleport?" Klaus stumbled on the sand again for the hundredth time.
Evaline stood still behind him, her hair was getting blown around by the sandstorm, their vision was mostly blocked, barely anything was visible in the distance due to all the sand particles floating everywhere.
Jen just floated around trying to find a solution to their situation, her hands were fidgeting with her flaming clothes.
They were deserted…literally.
"We are so fucked, Nyra probably got eliminated already," he sighed as he planted his head onto the ground, ready to surrender to whatever deity was watching them from the sky.
"Do you think there are bad bi—"
"Hey, someone is coming towards us…" Before he could finish, Evaline felt a foreign source of mana rushing towards them at an incredible pace, too fast for a regular human.
"What could it possibly be?" Klaus stood, and a creature the size of a house emerged from the sandstorm.
"What the fuck," both of them said at the exact same time as they looked at the ginormous thing in front of them.
Two horns were pointing out from its head, its limbs were the size of trees, and its torso was the size of a car.
It smelled like shit, Klaus didn't know if he had smelled anything worse than it before.
"Is that a minotaur…" Klaus wanted to smile, however, his lips kept twitching as the gigantic creature roared in front of them.
All three stood still as the creature stopped and looked at them.
"Maybe if we don't move…" Evaline tried to instruct the two of them, however, Klaus already had a better idea in mind.
"Fuck that, Jen, fly, we are out!" He instructed Jen, and then grabbed onto Evaline tightly, hands wrapped around her body, which made her face reddened despite the situation they were in.
'Mirror movement,' they both started teleporting through the sandstorm.
"RAGHHH!" The minotaur screamed, however, it wasn't able to see them anymore after they disappeared.
They kept teleporting around, it felt like eternity. Jen kept tracing the craters which Klaus left behind after each teleportation. Then they finally arrived at the cross-section of the three terrains.
Klaus fell to the ground, Evaline on top of him for no reason whatsoever.
Her hair stood in hundreds of different directions like lightning had just struck him, it made Klaus hold back a slight chuckle, however, he just smiled and pushed the dazed Evaline off of himself so he could stand.
Evaline just lay there, gazing at the blue sky.
Jen finally arrived as well, way slower than them: "Too fast, master…" she was gasping for air as she landed her fragile body on Klaus's shoulder.
However, they weren't alone.
"Finally!" A weirdly familiar voice screamed from behind them, from the mountain-like terrain.
Klaus turned, and Evaline instantly stood on guard, however, she dropped it straight after.
A crying, eyed blue-haired girl stood in front of them, grasping onto her clothes as she tried to keep them in place with more or less success.
"Nyra," Klaus breathed a sigh of relief as the girl in front of him just stared dumbfounded.
"I-I got teleported into the mountain terrain…" she kept murmuring slowly whilst all three of them stared at her, which made her even more shy.
"I see," Klaus facepalmed then started walking in circles.
"What are you trying to do—"
"Matthias has to be in the field terrain," he instantly pointed towards the endless grass that seemed to last forever.
"How did you come to that conclusion?" Evaline looked at him dumbfounded, not understanding his thought process at all.
"He probably used a large-scale teleportation spell," he kept circling around whilst scratching his chin, "and Nyra came from the mountain terrain."
"Right," all three girls said at the exact same time.
"And we just came from the desert terrain," he pointed behind his back then smiled, "which means he has to be in the field area."
He puffed his chest out, almost like he was a great detective who had just solved a murder case.
The two girls nodded and looked at him like he was a genius, and Jen just stood still on his shoulder.
'It's just a gamble,' he didn't want to say that out loud, after all, both of his teammates seemed to be in shambles. He wanted to keep the morale at least somewhat manageable.
"So let's get going—" Before they could even start, a fireball landed at his feet, burning the grass in front of him.
All four turned in the direction from where it came, trying to find the source of the fireball, and there stood three kids.
One of them was one of the people they planned to eliminate.
"You bitch," Cassian spat on the ground whilst the two minions next to him patted his shoulder.
One of them was a fatass kid with a bald head. He seemed to be touching the inside of his mouth as if he was searching for treasure.
The other was a tall, lanky dude. He had short black hair and black eyes. He was like a ghost.
'Reminds me of a certain character from a game,' Klaus barely managed to hold back his chuckle.
"Max, Jans, look at that fucking traitor," he pointed at Nyra, whose face instantly drained of colour and she began shaking uncontrollably. "YOUR FAMILY WILL SUFFER FOR THIS!" he screamed off the top of his lungs, neck veins bulging as her face went red from anger.
'Ah fuck,' Klaus sighed, however, Evaline just kept smiling, like she was ready for the fight and excited.
"And you!" Cassian pointed at Klaus, who just stood still, clearly not bothered anymore by the boy in front of them.
"I'll handle him—"
Before Evaline could finish that sentence, Klaus grabbed her shoulder.
"I know we said you would fight," Klaus rolled his sleeves up, a slight grin on his face.
'I'm so cool,' his eyes sparkled as his blonde hair kept being blown by the wind, making him look like a hero instead of a tiny dude.
"But I will handle it," he stepped forward and looked at the three boys in front of him, who just stood there dumbfounded.
