Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

I was tied up, my mouth gauged, eyes covered too...

‎It hadn't been long since I was dragged from the site.

‎I know Kantama was as hellish as they described it to be... Maybe it was the real life hell they say terrible people went to. True to it's words the most terrifying and most terrible of humanity dwelled in this city. However there was one thing it's people didn't do. They never hunt their own. Unless you weren't clean. The hunts and goods and supplies all come from the world outside.

‎ Down here, in begotten Africa, no one cared if shit was going rot here. No one would know this was the base of all criminal activities, those who worked here were as much slaves as they could possibly be. It's either you die a brutal death or just remain tight lipped.

‎Whichever way we all survived doing the worse possible things. Mom had done her best to keep us in check making sure we weren't too consumed by the darkness that shrouded Kantama. However her efforts had faulted when papa left us.

‎That man just had to go outside one day and die.

‎If only I hadn't accepted that trashy job yesterday. I knew it was too good to be true. How the masked guy almost agreed to all my whims during the interview if we could still call the questions and answers that went on an interview. I should've known. I was too blinded with the money, and trusted Kantama will never hurt it's own people. I guess I was wrong and now I had to find my way back home before Maa started to worry.

‎ Looking at the two young men before me, I wondered what I had done to so thoroughly offend them and end up this way. I guessed they were my real captors, the people who wanted me here. That was what the other burly man had said when he came to take off my blind fold.

‎That face though, I had seen it somewhere.... But where...

‎Stalker, the alley stalker, it's been days but I can't at all forget how I was so shocked to find someone stalking me when I had been on an errand.

‎I knew it wasn't nothing as Mama had said when I told her about it. After all who followed who on the streets of Kantama.

‎So far as I knew, I was clean, I did no one wrong I owed no one money nor did I pass someone else's deal during my little side hustles. And the markets of Kanta never lacked slaves, so this should not be the case of human trafficking or organ extraction.....

‎Were these guys the perverted members of papa's family that came to seek us for money after he died?

‎No that can't be. Never seen such pretty looking males in the family before. Plus they looked too tidy to be among our people.

‎Then what did they want from me... Did they have a job offer? Did dad cause any one trouble then?

‎"Hello, little purple... It's nice to finally meet you."

‎This guy had something about his smile, it made me temporarily forget where I am and what was happening, he knew it too as he grinned some more, sending warmth through my cheeks and up my head. I wasn't stupid though. I knew those who could still smile this way in this begotten crater, were the most vile and evil things you could encounter.

‎"Hey Purple..." The other twin, my stalker said his voice low and deep, even his short statement resonated in my mind. He smiled too although just a little. They looked so similar and do different too...

‎Somehow, I felt I was stuck between two bricked walls.

However I knew my stalker being cold faced did not mean he was not just as vile as the smiling chishere cat by his side. I could feel the thick sharp cold air of a murderer a deep dark and far gone man waft off of both young men. How had such young people gotten that vile a presence.

‎And the most important question; how did I, end up here stuck with them.

‎"Sorry we had to tie you up... We couldn't let you get away again " Silly grin said....

‎Tie me up? Get away? , me? , ... What the .... is he saying. I wish they took whatever was stuffed in my mouth away too. However before I could wonder what way to tell them I was probably not the person they were looking for,my frown had already told them what they needed to know.

‎Cold face stepped forward kneeling before me, his face almost moving into mine only stopping when I jerked my head backwards.

‎He looked into my eyes literally staring into my soul with his jet black eyes.

‎"Don't run Pur..."

‎Thick dark voice poured into my ears and filled my being. I couldn't help the shiver and goose bumps that broke out my skin.

‎Pur...Pur.... Was it something about the way he said it, with the dark curl to the end or was it how it broke out his kiss-me full lips? I couldn't tell, but the purple he'd called be earlier felt like a shame for a name compared to this antagonistic pur.

‎ I didn't fail to catch the theme of his words though.

Run?...

Were they blind? She was tied to a gad damned pole in who knows where? How was she going to run without getting out of this .... Whatever place they were keeping her. She wasn't foolish, at least not that foolish. She knew she had to obey the whims of her capture should she wish to leave alive. The markets of Kantama taught lots and lots of lessons. One was to never use your device on the street and the other which was just as basic was ‎to always obey the power holder. Whoever held power im what place was the master and law, you listen and you don't dare disobey. The slaves knew what happened if they went contrary to that.

‎ She though, was not one of the slaves out there. And the life she had been brought up with, might have made her a little soft. She wasn't supposed to jerk away like that when he tried to near her.

‎And she could tell he did not like that by the crease in his brow.

‎We chose you little purple... Be our bride.

‎...

‎We? We who?

‎I looked at the still grinning silly man, from these few seconds, I could draw he was the talker and this guy before me, he seems to have fallen out with words. The one whose pet name had made me shiver.

‎And what in hell did he mean by they chose me... Be their bride? Who still did that in Kantama.

‎Down here you don't go around seeing people propose and have weddings and what not, maybe that was one of the reasons why she had planned to evacuate secretly with her family ones she gathered enough money from her endeavors, she wished her family a better life than this even if it meant the risk of leaving Kantama.

‎She did not get to wonder long enough though, cold face's words made her realize she had taken a wrong detour in her thoughts.

"‎We want to keep you Pur...."

‎Kept, taken and owned...

‎Yeah right what was she thinking.

‎That was how it was done in Kantama, if you were rich enough and powerful enough and thought it wise to have a woman by your side,.... You search for the one, you grab her and drag her either screaming or wailing or if she had a little fight in her, she'd be kicking but still you take her and then keep her, and there you have it a personal birthing slave for a lifetime if she holds on long enough.

That was how it had always been done. This was the underworld, the rules were set by the ones powerful enough to make them. The drug Lords, the slave Kings, the Lords of other factions, and the most powerful of them, that is, whatever family is vile enough to control this country and it's officials to pay a blind eye.

‎ This was the playground for the most powerful and looking at the two people who stood before her, all invincible fingers pointed them out to be one of the players.

‎However there was only one thing she could think or even care about. Her family. Her Maa and sister.

‎She had to go back to them.

‎Hello dear readers. And welcome to a thrilling journey into the Darcens' family....
