Chapter 73 - Chapter 73: GENZO AND SHELL

The day arrived faster than any of them expected.

The night Nami, Nojiko, and Cry shared became one of the most unforgettable nights of their lives. For the first time, they lost themselves completely in pleasure, discovering one another on a deeper level than they ever had before. Nami and Nojiko's love for each other was absolute—so deep that even the boundaries of the body meant nothing to them anymore. They felt no need for any man to come between them. They would stay together for as long as they wished, free and unrestrained, their desires unburdened, because they had Cry.

Cry was not only someone who could satisfy them—she was someone who could completely overwhelm them if she chose to.

Early that morning, Nami and Nojiko were still clinging to Cry, their bodies pressed close, unwilling to let go. After finishing everything they needed to do and bathing together, the sisters pulled Cry back into the bed so they could rest.

Cry didn't need rest at all—but the sisters did.

Nami lay on Cry's right side, cuddling her arm as if Cry were her lover now. On the other side, Nojiko hugged Cry's remaining arm, her lips still gently pressed against Cry's pale, long neck. Even in sleep, the closeness between them didn't fade.

Soon, all three of them drifted off together, their bodies still intertwined, their affection unmistakable. It was a bond that could not be broken or changed anymore. Their bodies now belonged to one another, but more than that, the connection filled their flesh, their minds, and most of all, their hearts.

Time passed, and before they realized it, it was already lunchtime.

Nami and Nojiko woke up first. Both of them dressed simply—Nami wore an orange dress that reached her knees, while Nojiko wore a blue one of similar length. After the reckless actions of the previous night, their lower bodies were still sore, which was why neither of them bothered with undergarments, relying on their dresses for comfort and ease.

Cry was already seated at the table when they arrived, calmly waiting. The food Sanji had just delivered was laid out in front of them.

"Oh, thank you, Sanji," Nojiko said sweetly, giving him a quick blink.

Sanji collapsed instantly, his legs twitching as he hit the floor.

"O–oh! You're welcome, Nojiko-chan! You can always count on me!"

He jumped back to his feet a moment later. "I-I'll go prepare your drinks! Please wait!" And with that, he vanished at lightning speed.

Nami laughed softly as she fed Cry, glancing sideways at her sister teasing Sanji so effortlessly.

"Ohhh… looks like my sister is really hungry for men," Nami teased playfully. "Isn't she, Cry?"

Cry heard her name and tilted her head slightly, clearly confused. She didn't understand what Nami meant.

Nojiko smiled and leaned over, kissing Cry gently on the forehead.

"Why would I look for a man when I have Cry beside me?" she said calmly. "And more importantly… no man could satisfy me anymore anyway. Right, Cry?"

Cry being cry just tilted her head.

From the entrance of the house, an old man stepped inside.

It was Genzo, the village chief.

He was tall and lean, his rugged appearance telling the long, painful history of his loyalty to Cocoyasi Village. Thick, jagged scars crossed his face and body like a map—permanent reminders of his near-fatal encounter with the Arlong Pirates. Yet standing in sharp contrast to that battle-hardened image was the whimsical orange-and-white pinwheel perched atop his dark blue police cap. He had once worn it to keep an infant Nami from crying at the sight of his scars, and he had never taken it off since.

Clad in his sheriff's uniform, with a katana resting at his hip and a dark mustache reinforcing his stern demeanor, Genzo looked every bit the village's unyielding guardian. And yet, when his eyes softened, it was clear—he was just a man who had lived for these children.

"So," he said gruffly, breaking the quiet. "You two rest well?"

He asked it the way a father would, his gaze moving between them.

"Oh, you're here," Nojiko replied warmly. "Have you eaten?"

"Good morning, Gen-san," Nami added.

"I've already eaten," Genzo said.

Then his eyes shifted.

They landed on the woman Nami was feeding.

For a brief moment, he froze. His throat tightened, and he swallowed hard, forcing himself to maintain his composure. He took a slow breath, steadying himself, before speaking again.

"So," he asked, turning his head toward the picture hanging on the wall—Bellemere's smile watching over them.

"What's your plan, Nami?"

Nami followed his gaze, then looked back at him and Nojiko.

"Gen-san," she said softly but firmly, "I'm going with them. With Cry. I can't leave her alone with those idiots."

Genzo listened in silence. Then he snorted.

"Hmph. Go if you want."

He turned and walked toward the door, but stopped just before stepping out.

"But be careful," he said without looking back. "And don't worry. I'll lecture those idiots myself."

With that, he left, heading toward Luffy's group.

Nojiko laughed lightly. "Look at him. He's worried about you."

Then she glanced at Nami and Cry. Her smile softened.

"I guess… I'll wait for you to come back."

Nami understood what her sister was feeling. She stood up and wrapped her arms around her.

"Don't worry," Nami whispered. "I promise I'll come back."

Cry watched them quietly.

She recognized the feeling—the same one she had sensed from Kaya before. Slowly, she stood, towering over them, and pulled them both into her embrace. Then she leaned forward and gently kissed Nojiko's forehead.

After that, Cry pursed her lips and made a soft whistling motion.

A tiny grain of salt emerged.

Before their eyes, it slowly transformed, crystalizing into a delicate shell. Inside it was water—so clear and pure it was almost invisible.

Nami and Nojiko stared in awe as Cry held it out.

"Here," Cry said softly.

"Come… sea… shoot."

Nojiko blinked, confused, looking from Cry to Nami.

Nami's eyes widened as she understood. "Really? You can do that?" she exclaimed. "That's amazing, Cry… you're amazing!"

She hugged Cry tightly.

"With this… we can come back here anytime we want. "
